Well, you know some non-coorporative potential party members won't join you because of your alignment? You think you can be able to trick some party members into joining you? Or drugging them up and typing them up and throw them in the storage space on the Ebon Hawk and keep them there until the end of the game? Just so you don't feel like you left any characters behind?

Maybe you can do that with enemies too. And you can go there and torture them whenever you want to? Or interrogate them for more and more info? Or get them to switch sides and join you? Or land at a jail and release them? Or a sarlacc pit?

The game won`t be "large" enough to to that. You have quite few followers and NPC`s. This isn`t for such "linear" game.

Personally I prefer carbonite, then I'll display them on the Ebon Hawk.

Dark Side torture or subtle implanting of suggestions (like Palpatine on Anakin) that makes them question their allies or think they deserve more etc would own. Even if you briefly encounter the person/NPC/enemy, a few strategic lines over many encounters could be enough to make the difference.

For diplomacy there should be Sith style manipulation and the Jedi peacenik logic. Emphasis: again the former isn't always violent or threatening. In fact the better quality ones would be subtle manipulation ala Palpatine.

Spreading beauty with my katana.
