Sorry for the Razer plug, didn't find a news item (heh). Finally coming to GOG, though I'm not sure anyone here even cares anymore. I might check it out after researching the mod scene a bit. The co-op is basically all I'm interested in.

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

Obviously this is the fault of the RAND corporation, in conjunction with the saucer people.

Interesting. Not my type of game (I SUPER DUPER suck at real-time micro-heavy gaming), but I know we have some RTS fans here and this is a SEVERELY underserved genre. On the other hand, it's also a genre that has been shown to sell poorly recently, which I'm sure is no small part of the reason no one makes these games any more.

Best of luck to them.

Not that surprising, but Piranha Bytes announced in a really round about way that Elex 2 is being delayed and from Bjorn's body language he sounds unsure if it will be done by next year.

almost forgot piranha exist

play recent release like elex are very painful

it is better than their older stuff but player these days often have very different expectation for rpgs

The third-party stores also now offer the Steam key version, and it looks like the cheapest among them are Gamebillet and Indiegala at 60% off each, so save a little bit more on top. ;) Both are official stores, no problems there.

If you want the GOG version you'll have to settle for 50% off though.

I dreamed there was a XCOM3 trailer and tried to post it here. But for some reason my PC wouldn't let me copy the URL to the trailer.

Damn dreams.

Not that you missed much. The trailer kinda sucked.

At least the game, when it comes, promises to be better than what I dreamed last night.

I was watching some video re: Diablo4's passive talent tree (that's actually graphically, on the surface ... a tree! haha, get it!) and thinking to myself that I kind of wish arpg's would stop aping Path of Exile re: extensive node systems at this point.  Just because PoE has mega node system doesn't mean every arpg has to ape it in some form or another now. Someone needs to invent a "new norm" again.

Per usual ... that's just me.

I assume not since I have no idea what "Grim Dawn sister" means.  Edit: I do know GD has that constellation system.

I think Chilloutman was preaching right now for it as much as Skazz is about Majesty 😛
