The issue generates from ants over spawning and bogging the game down. This happens across Xbox and PC so you're not alone. If you like I can help you remedy this with a workaround. I can join your game while you stay in a safe spot far away. I can go into the ant hill and kill off the over abundance of ants for you. Or at least until the numbers are manageable.
