And so I look forward for more independent games.

Also Silent Hill 4 is available on GOG. It is odd that one of the least popular games in the series made it to PC.

It's probably because the older games might be real pain in the ass to make them work on Win 7 + computers *shrugs*

The other SH games are on PC too. Played lots of SH2 and 3 back in the days. Never finished SH4, though. It was buggy, had crappy performance, and I just hated the leveldesign and the way the story progressed (it was just one linear corridor after linear corridor,..).

^ I've never seen/looked under a console before.
Wait, I didn't see it, where's the gpu? ...oh.
Miniaturization is a beautiful thing.
When can we have PC gpu's that are still PC powerful but get at least a bit smaller instead of bigger and bigger and bigger ....

Also ,  Night City map apparently got leaked / released

jpg

Or at least, that's supposedly the paper map that will be coming with the boxed copies of the game.

Edit: A few minor differences to the layout of the Pen & Paper Cyberpunk Night City, but nothing too extravagant...

Compared to RED or 2020? Because the city got practically leveled between those two.

2020.

Most people I know stopped with 2nd Ed, and kind of ignored the whole CyberGeneration. Sure, Arasaka set off a nuke in the middle of the city during the 4th Corp War, but that doesn't physically move Heywood up and above Pacifica.. ;)

Edit: Don't get me wrong, it's not a complaint, I'm just vaguely curious on the reasons for things like this. When you've had a focus on getting the lore right, there's got to be some sort of technical reasons for changing the layout of the city.

.....

In a way, it's captivating to unravel the dark mysteries, and exact justified revenge and retaliation against these perpetrators. Watch Dogs: Legion isn't shy about portraying the terrible things that those in power can and will do to underprivileged and marginalized people. But we should be critical of how it's being conveyed throughout the game, and be mindful that--while, yes, this is some wild video game--we're exposing ourselves to traumatizing imagery that may not sit well with some us who are especially conscious of bad **** that isn't far off from our real world.

I've been purposely avoiding any Outer Worlds discussion waiting for the Steam release. Not much longer. :)

Oh, it's finally coming to Steam?  I haven't avoided everything but I don't know a lot, either. Hm ... guess I'll have to check it out.

A Yakuza game being tons of fun is the least surprising thing ever.

I'm really excited to try out the job system. I wonder if you can give any job to any character or just certain jobs to certain characters?

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken
