How do I get my party to not move whilst my rogue disarms traps, ect?

I apologize for my being new to forums. Btw, I LOVE Pillars of Eternity, I'll hopefully get 2 for my 19th bday. I've made so many characters/races, seeing what I prefer. It's fun and I'm addicted.
