Mod request -- longer combat log

Is there any way to mod the game to dramatically lengthen the combat log, so that you could look back at an entire fight's worth of data instead of the relatively short bursts the game lets you scroll back? 

 

I'd like to do things like scan for how many critical hits a given build had in a long fight but it's hard to do that given the very short truncation.
