I'll be installing the Epic Store tonight

You are dead to me! Dead!

:p

How was my funeral?

It was pretty great until someone brought up that you weren't actually dead. That's when the party stopped and the real crying began.

I took a break after rescuing Taika :)

I finished Resident Evil 7. It was pretty good. Started doing the DLCs, but they're less so. They seem to be well made, but they twist the gameplay into weird action crud. Like the End of Zoe DLC is literally boxing the monsters. Boxing! Who thought fistfights would be a good idea?

I think the idea behind End of Zoe was catharsis. You spend most of the main game scared and weak, sneaking around, scrounging for ammo. Now suddenly you are this burly dude who can just punch monsters to death. Anyway, the DLCs are just some silly fun. It's an interesting approach and a let down for people that wanted more of the main game, basically, but I thought they were fitting. They're a nod to the silly and absurd stuff that has happened throughout the series (remember Chris punching a boulder?) and the devs decided to make the silliness separate, rather than mixing it into the terrifying main game.

Finished the main story, as well as unveiled and confronted all the Cultists in AC Odyssey.  Now I'm debating whether or not to get the DLC/expansion episodes.

Finished The Walking Dead Season 2. It was good, not sure if I'll bother with Season 3 though, for now at least.

I started playing Telltale's Batman and good lord, it sure is boring. There isn't much batmaning to do at all, just talks and politics.

It is a bit on the boring side compared to other Telltale's stuff, but I actually liked I could choose between dude in boring suit and dude in goofy suit. Picked boring suit all the time, as I simply cannot take superhero stuff seriously.

(My favorite Telltale title would be "Wolf among us". "Tales of the Borderlands" was pretty great too, but it loses to "Wolf" by not having a smoking, freeloading depressed pig hogging your couch).

Killed the Tyranid boss in BFG2. The ork whaling mission is BS though

Found it funny look at achievements for BFG2 that only 60% of purchasers actually beat the intro mission :p

Somebody in the GOG thread mentioned nostalgia and the first PC game he ever played. Made me feel like dusting off the first two PC games I bought. While I don't have the boxed versions anymore, I do have Fallout 1 from the Fallout Trilogy pack (FO1,2 and Tactics) and I have the original Tombraider from GOG. Heh, I still remember actually buying an Orchid 3Dfx card just to get the nicer graphics in Tombraider. Glide drivers.... yeah. Those were the times

Maybe I should try to see if I can find the emulator versions and have a go at the first two computer games I bought: International Soccer by Commodore and Beach head by Access Software/US Gold

The first PC game I ever bought and played was Space Quest 1. I played it on a Tandy 1000 on 3.5" floppies.

I think the first game for me was a PowerHits set of BattleTech games on I believe 5.25" disks. Crescent Hawks Inception, Crescent Hawks Revenge, and the original MechWarrior. Inception was the first game I ever modded too because they included nearly the full arsenal of weapons on the disk even though none were actually playable in the game.

Just remembered I got it from the clearance rack at Target. Vital info.

First game I've ever played was some unnamed ASCII game plane bombarding and shooting stuff, on a big "scientific" computer in a Mining Company office, during school visit to the site, which was probably programmed by the guy, who was operating the computer :p somewhere around 1985 or 1986 :p
