Our newest member @FailGeek was already writing a Mod that overlapped with a Mod Request by @Sturmovik so he added the request to his almost finished mod and has just uploaded the results

See https://poe.peardox.com for the results

I'm gonna move the domain to https://perspak.com early Feb but will keep all content

There are reasons behind this move which basically boil down to unifying my release schedule

@Armakoir thank you so much for the mod that enables the ranger to hide away his annoying critter-companion! You're a hero <3

@peardox Regarding my requestted "AI Conditions" mod, I'm of course already usingthe "More Custom AI Conditions" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/88). It's really essential for setting up macros in my view. I didn't know GravitonGamer was part of your team, or I would have made the request there, if not both places. Anyway I made the request there now. Thanks for the heads up :)

Your mod request is marked as on hold

Legally we can't Mod someone elses Mod (lawyers)

Yep - GG is part of our group - we assume he's on holiday

If you re-word your req as a new one we don't break any laws (same goes for the godlike mod someone else requested)

Something I have to look after is our members not being sued

Actually when you browse a mod there is a tab called "permissions and credits". This particular mod allows you to do whatever you want with it, as long as you don't sell it and credit the original creator.

Oh - thought that one was restricted (it was when I wrote the post)

I'll point this out to the team

I've been notified of some issues with our Mod Requests system

Basically people are asking for Mods in thread rather than filling out the form at https://poe.peardox.com/modreq

Worse is that if we don't write a Mod that's requested in a post then some idiot always starts moaning

Our group policy is that every request HAS to come in via the request form - if we don't do anything after that then feel free to moan as much as you like :)

It's VERY easy for us to miss Mod requests in threads while we actively investigate every Mod submitted via the form.

If you check https://poe.peardox.com/modlist you'll see how many Mods have been requested and the status of each mod

Three of our members are actively working on your requests

If you post in-thread then moan that nobody's doing anything - Why the hell do you have this group? Do you trust them? sorta stuff you're hurting yourself if you ever get around to requesting a Mod the proper way.

IF you've been bad in forums and request properly we'll most likely reject the req. There are ways to fix this, of course.

Apologise by PM to the team member then submit a proper request

It must be obvious that we have a LOT more requests than Modders - we've got active work underway at any time on over half a dozen requests if you check https://poe.peardox.com/modlist and quite a lot completed and published.

We WILL get around to your mod request eventually

We do all this stuff for free, nobody makes any cash out of the Mod Requests. Actually some bloke tried to offer cash to a member the other day, the member refused the cash an is writing it anyway :)

Read the above post

@armakoir wrote your ranger

We DON'T READ THIS THREAD (I update it once in a while)

All mod requests MUST come through our website - https://poe.peardox.com/modreq

Simply fill in the form and if we can do it we'll get around to it

The form is there for a reason - we NEVER miss a request and EVERY one is given consideration

The form is part of a group chain of events that let us order our work

You submit, we discuss. If someone really likes your idea then they grab it and you're assigned a Mod developer

At this point the Mod Dev will usually PM you so clarify you request

We had one today that completely skipped this step and immediately hit completed as a new member was already working on something very similar to a Request so he patched it in and released it

If you check https://poe.peardox.com/modlist you can see what we're doing.

Our members get a different version of the site that allow us to edit the information, make notes, create links and apply credits (we get asked for a pre-existing Mod once in a while but always credit the original author)

The ModReq form is vital for tracking what we do

I explain this and the next post is a ModReq from someone who's already used our service

God - I'm defo sticking a Patreon on this one soon. It'd be cool if our team get a Xmas prezzie for their hard work

When I do the Patreon - there is no preferential treatment, I just wanna make that clear. We either do or don't and its entirely up to us...

As Druid is the favourite class i like to play it saddens me that spiritshifting feels so wrong - at least in the following points:

1. Duration no longer scaling with Power Level

2. Spiritshift Weapons not counting as "Unarmed" so they wont recieve any bonus from Devoted for instance

Is there any way to mod this - especially the second point? Devoted/Shapeshifter would be an awesome class - if it would not suffer heavy penalties in spiritshift form.

Thanks for your work! ;)

Maybe lauch a new request that says you want to remove the old one? :)

Serioulsy now. Since they read all the requests this might work.

Well, I should be done with my mod over the next few days, maybe even sooner. I am rearranging auto-grant Priest spells more thematically in accordance with the deity in question.

Really nice concept and quite cool of you and your modding team for doing this.

So added my little ideas to the requests too. With the introduced new 2 handed axes by Obsidian, i thought it would be cool if you could also introduce other two handers like two handed hammers or two handed sabers.

Yeah - we have your Req

If you check https://poe.peardox.com/ you'll find the current status of your ModReq

Three members of our group are actively working on filling these reqs (I'm working on the website)

The decision to take on a ModReq is COMPLETELY at the member's choice

We apologise if you've requested a Mod already and had no reply - PM myself if that's a problem so I can investigate the issues

As you'll clearly see from our site we get asked for MANY more mods than we can reasonably do in a short time

We do our best while also developing our own original concepts

FYI

Our output will likely be less than usual until 2.1.0 reaches release

We're in contact with the OBS Devs and they listen to us, we're indirectly changing the game in a good way

There are some HUGE things from a Modding stand-point coming in 2.1.0 that make Mods more stable (spent the morning researching and testing this kinda thing)

On behalf of the team I wish to apologise in advance for any current delays in the modreq system

I'd explain why we are all waiting for 2.1.0 but this is a no-spoiler zone (and the answer requires some very specific spoilers)

Bear with us

In a non-spoiler example I know that some people can't get specific Mods to work. Well, 2.1.0 fixes a specific issue that can be applied to all Mods that add items to any Vendor - this is why we're not as active as usual...

I'm happy to announce that we have a new member

@Cassiopia is still learning Modding so we're helping out with his / her Modding learning curve

The BIG thing to us is that he / she does French properly (only Spanish to go)

We've also worked out another new technique that only applies to 2.1.0+

This one ain't a spoiler...

We can now add items to chests etc (I'll be trying NPCs in the AM before I go vanilla again)

This kind of ability gives us a lot of flexibility (it'll be cool if I can get NPCs modded using this technique)

This stuff is getting FUN again!

We have many upcoming facilities owing to our ties with the Dev team - announcements when we get to explore them
