Most anticipated games .... your wishlist of games to come

Recommended Posts

I have to say, since learning Kingmaker is coming in August instead of September I'm so happy! I'm still sad Devolver Digital doesn't have release date for Eitr, which is on my wishlist for quite some time.

Other games I wish to buy/hope to see released and in my library are:

Wychwood - bit a children game, but I wish to try it nontheless

Bard's Tale IV

Spire of Sorcery - which would be releasing this month

Children of Morta

and maybe even Soul Saga.

What are yours wishes to come true?

Cyberpunk 2077

The Elder Scrolls VI

Skull and Bones

Edit: forgot Dragon Age 4

P.S. Would be also nice to see Skywind, PoE 3, Warcraft IV and Neverwinter Nights 3 if they are ever released...

  • Bayonetta III (won't be available on PC, but I'm glad that the series is alive);

Devil May Cry V;

Dragon Age IV;

Greedfall (action-RPG);

PoEII DLC;

Praey for Gods (killing gods with a sword sounds like fun);

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (by FromSoftware, so probably a Souls-like game).

Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother?

What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest.

Begone! Lest I draw my nail...

I'm lucky; today's game trends seems to coincide with my own tastes. I like open worlds and first person view. I've noticed that genre takes a backstep to those two criteria so I have a lot to look forward to. I play everything from Ghost Recon: Wildlands to The Division to Elex to Skyrim/Fallout 4 to Dying Light to anything with those two criteria basically. They allow me to have fun in any game it seems.

So..

Next GTA

Red Dead Redemption 2

Anthem (probably..)

Dying Light 2

Cyberpunk 2077

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Next Elder Scrolls

Next Fallout

Starfield

Star Citizen

..and so on

Good times ahead!

Did everybody suddenly forget about Metro Exodus? Come on people, this is likely the closest we're going to get to a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game.

Besides that, I'm on the Cyberpunk 2077 hype train, like everybody else.  Though, we likely won't see that game until 2020.  I'm also anticipating Dying Light 2, Bard's Tale 4, Ghost of Tsushima, Phoenix Point, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Dragon Quest XI, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and Strange Brigade.

I'm lookin' fer the magic Girdle of Swank Iron, have ye seen it? Do ye know where a portal ta the 2,817th Plane o' the Abyss might be? Do ye know where the Holy Flamin' Frost-Brand Gronk-Slayin' Vorpal Hammer o' Woundin' an' Returnin' an' Shootin'-Lightnin'-Out-Yer-Bum is?

Honestly, right now, it's the DLC for Deadfire. It's coming out over such a short time frame that I don't feel like I can start playing it again until they're all released. Fortunately, I've got plenty to keep me going until then!

I've noticed a couple people mention Dragon Age IV. Has this been confirmed or is that just hopeful speculation?

Borderlands 3... only game that sprang to mind as something really looking forward to.

Most immediately there's the Deadfire DLCs, Disco Elysium and Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Further ahead I'm looking forward to a few several games: anything Obsidian for starters, as well as Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield as two of the announced titles I'm most hyped for. Oh, and Doom: Eternal, cos Doooom.

I’m curious about what Tim and Leonard are up to.

Cyberpunk 2077 kinda repelled me with certain (implied) design decisions, but cautiously looking at what happens...

Then there’s Disco Elysium, Copper Dreams, Wasteland 3 and mild interest for Bard’s Tale 4 and Phoenix Point.

Not much else in the horizon.

whatever games Obsidian or Frictional Games (Amnesia) are working on.

+ 666 re: Frictional. Cautious about Call of Cthulhu since it's not Frictional doing it.

Also here's hoping Ice-Pick Lodge will finish Pathologic 2 within current decade.  8)
