Stuck in inventory

I somehow got 1 cannon shot in my personal inventory when my ship was full of cannon shot, then I accidentally clicked on it now my cursor is stuck trying to move the shot and I cannot exit the inventory screen.

I am having this same issue.  The work around I have found to get unstuck is to left-click on another character portrait at the top of the inventory screen.  It would be nice to fix this issue completely.  Where are the save files stored?

This is how I was able to get around this. Thank you! I was really bummed I was going to have to alt+f4 and I had not saved in awhile.

 

So basically the bug is that; normally you cannot loot more ship supplies if you don't have room in your inventory. In some instances the game does allow you to loot them into a characters inventory slot. So in my experience I had 13 medical supplies in my main character inventory, bringing my total to (113). I accidently clicked these 13 supplies which brings them to my "cursor" (for lack of a better term) and you are unable to place it back in your inventory because you are(were) at capacity. It doesn't allow you to click on any other item because you cannot "place" the over supply of supplies.

 

Hope this helps devs, this game is so massive compared to the 1st one, I can't get enough of it! I hope we have a chance for a trilogy with this series!
