He's alive! No...They're alive! ALIVE! ( ending mess up )

Recommended Posts

So I decided to support Huana, but before accept her final quest to blow powder house, I complete Honor Among Thieves first, killed Aeldys, trigger A Dance With Death, get the Fonferrus, go back Dunnage to KILL FURRANTE and other council members who stay there.( Oddly A Dance With Death did not failed )

Then I do A Vote of No Confidence, side with Director Castol during Trial then leave him.

Finally I go Brass Citadel to reject RDC final quest, all of them turn hostile, I KILLED BOTH HAZANUI KARU AND ATSURA.

After that I talk to the queen, she skip final mission so we sail to Ondra's Mortal immediately, I thought no one will stop us but Rauatai Navy show up( guess I have to blow the powder house then kill them ).

Next I deactivated the machine, go down and found ATSURA ALIVE!

And during ending slides, FURRANTE ALIVE! I thought after I killed both leader, Two-Eyed Pim will become the leader and transform Principi into transit company!

WTH?!

I am pretty sure that the 2nd most influential faction will always show up to fight you (if you pick a side). It seems that devs didn’t take into account the most basic principle - assume that player will kill everyone.

During Castol trial, I have option to tell Alvari that Furrante is dead.

Yeah I know. I did too. But as the OP mentioned it doesn’t always work.

Yeah, I managed to piss off the RDC while doing a quest, so I went to their citadel to see if they were all angry with me. Turned out they were, even the Vailian merchant they don't wanna let in was mad with me, she attacked me and I lost RDC rep for killing her. After that I wiped them out, rank and file, Atsura included. Guess who showed up for the meeting after my Ashen Maw business?

Given that Atsura is an obstructive ****roach of a bureaucrat, that seems oddly fitting.

Even better, I played a solo asssassin playthrough with the POE1 history being all the POE1 companions were not recruited, but Eder shows up in the ending slides as if we're buddies and he somehow sticks with me knowing I would interact with the gods more in the future.
