What does Purple Reputation Line mean?

Just as the title says, what exactly does a purple reputation line mean? Does the faction have mixed feelings about me? If so, what would the reputation number below the faction mean if the line is purple?

 

I read the cyclopedia and it said blue lines mean the faction likes you and red is the opposite, but it said nothing about how a purple line behaves.

I assumed it meant a mixed reputation, like how in PoE1 you could have both positive and negative reputations at the same time (Eccentric, etc)

You can easily tell how liked you are by the color and comparing the amount of blue and red on the reputation scale.

 

3 blue 2 red means you're at 1 like = mixed.

I guess it shows the highest rank, which would be +4 in your case. But you have also done some things to anger this faction, so you are anywhere between -1 and -3 on the negative scale, thus giving you a purple line.

That should be how many rep boxes you have unlocked. If you have 2 red 3 blue, it should say 5 purple.

That should be how many rep boxes you have unlocked. If you have 2 red 3 blue, it should say 5 purple.
