Game Crash

Foobah

Question

Hi,

Every time I play PoE2 the game crashes, guaranteed!

I'm not sure what to do, I originally posted the previous crashes / logs here but had no response;
https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/98901-game-crash/?do=findComment&comment=2022294

I've noticed the game was patched recently but can't find anything related to fixing the crashes. Am I one of a minority group that is experiencing this or is it happening to a large player base? It's quite frustrating considering I have showed my support for the game through the kickstarter and want to invest my time in the game but having to press the power button every time is worrying, I'm not sure if this will damage my PC over the long run.

Is there a known reason why the game crashes so frequently?

(output log attached)

BTW: without coming across derogatory how is one supposed to upload save-games when they are 800k and the limit is a measly 500k

Crashed again today during opening scene in Kahanga Palace. Sound started to "hang", went all weird / static. Mouse and keyboard non-responsive; forced to restart from power button.

Latest ouput_log attached.

I looked at the log and it said something about music, could the crash be resulting because I have multiple sound devices (see attached), although I've only got one set as default device?

Game crashed again last night when zoning in to Pitli's Sanctuary, the Gullet. Windows / keyboard / mouse froze, so no memory dump created, had to hard reset.

This is getting tedious and what's even more enraging is being emailed about a DLC with sidekick and new alcohol-themed items. I couldn't care less, I can't play the game!

When a developer of a game that you kick-start for over 18 months doesn't even have the courtesy to recognise your posts or that you have an issue, then one has to wonder where their priorities lie...
