All my saves load me into the same spot - all my gear is missing, my backpack is missing, and I always load into the same spot by the can near the oak tree no matter what, whether i load my day 1 save or my day 123 save Please help as as it stands I've lost all my loot and progress -
Now with the introduction of turn based combat as well as all the expansions been released I was gonna make a return to this wonderful game. Downloaded the game bought the expansions and got ready to play when I realized my achievements had been lost and that I had no Berath's blessings. I searched around the forums and found several posts talking about finding my save files and achievement files and I started look into it. But I can't find the files at the location they are supposed to be or at all. So I ask could anyone of you kind people help me resolve this issue? The issue being I want my achievements and Berath's blessings back ^^. (I launch the game through steam) /Aerondale -
Unable to play DLC

Hello, My problem is that I have deleted all my saves files prior to the boss fight at the end of Pillars of Eternity and this makes me unable to play the DLC that I have bought. The problem is that after the final boss fight the game ends, credits roll and I'm I'm unable to play after this point. Unfortunately I was unaware that I can't leave the final dungeon once I enter it and without the save games that I have deleted (without knowing the impact of it) my only choices is killing the boss and ending the game. Without your support the only way I could play the DLC is by starting a new game and playing it through countless hours until I reach a point (almost at the half of the campaign) where the DLC location/quest would become available. Is there any way to restore the deleted save files? Can you offer me a solution please where I don't need to start playing the whole game again? Not that I don't like it, more so because I've grown attached to my character. (I rather not download a random save file rom the web because by doing so my main character wouldn't be my own neither the choice made during the game) Thanks in advance, Sz. So this has happened to me 3 times and it really made me annoyed, sometimes when the games loads to another area, the screen stays black and eventually the game crashes. After the crash ALL my save files are wiped. I tried disabling the steam cloud but i started another game, it crashed and wiped my saves AGAIN. Please help im at my wits end with this game -
I cannot play PoE in any manner, as of today, as any file I load from various campaign freeze and crash. In addition, I attempted to create a new game which crashed in the character creation screen. The crashes occur during the artwork loading screen for each level/ save file. I am bewildered, as I have already finished the game on normal, and am not sure why this would start occurring now. Fixes attempted: 1. Verified Game Cache 2. Re-installed game 3. Various Save File Fixes seen on these forums. Save files after being zipped were 700 KB and too large to attach. Any Ideas/Fixes? I am really hooked on this game and hoping to get back into it. Thank you! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: Just an addition: When I create a new game, it crashes right before I am able to choose a character portrait. I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I think that the output log is for that instance of a crash. Specs for Comp attached. output_log.txt DxDiag.txt
