As the title says, the 4th level wizard spell Essential Phantom is getting into melee range and punching enemies, dealing blunt damage to them. The spells description says that it should be dealing shock damage and from what I remember back in PoE1 it used to use a wand or something similar to stay at range. I've swapped Aloth's weapons to see if his default weapon was the reason but that didn't do anything. Hopefully it can be fixed.

Well met, Adventurers! As we mentioned in an earlier post, pricing changes are coming to our store. Why did we decide to make these changes? Several reasons: first, and most importantly, we got feedback from our players (both directly through comments and through watching what is and is not actually being bought), about what items they wanted to see at what pricing. Ichthyic posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)

I assume it should update to say something like: take notes back to clyven. edit: hmm, interesting... I replayed the scenario, only changing that I put my pet (white wurm) away and had no pet out. quest finished normally. probably coincidence. -
After gaming a bit this morning, I've got just a little rant about undead in more modern RPGs: What happened to undead being the stuff of nightmares? I'm not saying that it's all wrong, everywhere. I think there are some kinds of undead that seem to have held on to the long standing ideas. Low-level corporal undead seem to be fine: Skeletons, Zombies, Mummies, Ghouls, etc. These range from weaker-than-NPC to stronger-than-NPC combat ability with the occasional nasty surprise like a disease or two. High-level undead like Liches, Vampires, Death Knights, Revenants are often okay, but jus
