For my next character after a caster I want to play a melee again, but still not sure, how to build it exactly. Island Aumaua Barbarian (propably Berserker)+something: Troubadour/Skald (question is, if I go with skald, can I still use other chanter invocations, or all should go to skeleton summon?) Amra seems a nice weapon for this 2, Aumaua can start 20 MIG + 5 from tenacious, so its basically always above 25. I like 2h axes anyway. Monk (Helwalker/Shattered Pillar/Forbidden Fist) : what weapon tho? or Dwarf Skald+Helwalker like Powerotti's Rumbling Boar: only that this build is really squishy, so I would need Edér+Pallegina to tank for me, and thats 3 melee, may be too much. dunno if it can be modified for pure monk or Shattered Pillar or even Forbidden Fist? weapons would be Sun and Moon + Tuotilo I guess and what would be a great team of npcs for these builds?
1. Start a game with an Island Aumaua. 2. Out of combat, vade through the aforementioned water. The character vades just like Eder instead of running normally. Among the Waves does not seem to trigger. 3. Attack a boar in the starting area and move through the water next to the waterfall while still in combat. The character now runs normally through the water as the racial ability dictates, while combat lasts. 4. After combat, move around in the water. The character still runs normally and Aamong the Waves seem to still work bugfree. 5. Move out of the water and back again. The Among the Waves racial ability no longer works. Savegames: I.
