  1. First, I am 80 hours in and love playing the game! Thanks for update 1.2 which fixed the dew collector, mushroom garden, etc. spawning issues. I am very excited for future content in the game. I would like to suggest that if any armor, weapon or tool items are equipped in the inventory screen (placed in the arm or armor slots) those items should no longer occupy any of the backpack inventory slots. Currently, any equipped item also occupies a backpack inventory slot as well. My thinking is that if a player equips an item in the arm or armor slots, they are "taking out" the item from t
  2. The potential of ARM chips replacing x86 has long been theorized and speculated upon, but I believe we're on the verge of it happening now. Qualcomm's upcoming 8cx (The Verge link) is spearheading ARM's move into the laptop segment. Initially, it's going to be ultra thin, low power laptops, but eventually ARM will invade more powerful laptop sectors and even desktops. ARM is already making a lot of headway in the server market and that trend will likely only continue. The biggest hurdle to ARM getting into traditionally x86 dominated markets has long been native software support. If you lo
  3. Update by Rose Gomez, Associate Producer Hello backers! After a successful week at GDC everyone is back in the office energized and inspired. This week we'll be taking a look at what the life of an animator is like on Pillars of Eternity, from what an average day looks like to how an animation goes from concept to being in the game. In our next update, look forward to an update all about the audio design on Pillars of Eternity, featuring Justin Bell, our Audio Director. As a reminder, the survey deadline has passed. If you still need to fill out your surveys, we encourage you to d
  4. I know this is a bit early and I should just be ecstatic that they are rolling a *nix version, but any thougths on compiling PE for the arm architecture? My laptop is starting to go out, and ive been looking at some arm options for replacing it, but Qemu aside, they won't play x86 games. I also have no doubt that by the time PE is out there will be fully pc capable android touchpads out, which will likely be able to have their memory flashed for full *nix distro's on them.
