I'm not sure if this has already been brought up and I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but I thought I'd try anyway. I'm playing on PC (MS Store version) and I've noticed that after I've completed a companion's personal quest and gained their bonus perk, I'll lose the bonus perk after doing a respec. HOWEVER, after doing a respec, I'll get an additional perk point to use for any companion who's personal quest I've completed as if it's giving me an extra point for the bonus perk. That doesn't seem like it's how it was intended to work. I figured the bonus perk would be a permanent passive quest reward. The way it's working now you have no warning that a respec will remove the perk and no way of getting it back even though you do get an additional point to spend after respec. Sorry if this is a well known bug, I just noticed it happening. I did a quick Google search and only found one small topic on Reddit talking about it. Figured I'd bring it up. Maybe someone else could do some testing to see if they get the same results.

Can’t equip anything to the inhalers first slot even if I press y and the equip to slot one. Not a big deal but find it very annoying. No I’m not talking about the emergency inhaler slot.

In character creation i choose Caucasian skin tones, yet when i get ingame and on the ground, both the idle panoramic view and the pause screen show me as decidedly NOT caucasian, and it seems like im at skin tone one rather than the caucasian tone i picked. Please fix this, id rather not tell my friends this game has 'forced diversity' Other issues i have with the game are the lack of an on screen effect when im hit by an enemy when i take damage, no controller vibration when i take damage, this makes health management rather difficult maybe a longer delay when holding the 'sheath weapon' or 'unsheath weapon' would be nice, as im always taking out my pistol at the most inoppertune times

Hi, So im playing on Xbox, and i have just landed on the Groundbreaker Docks. As soon as i leave my ship i get audio cuts and whenever i try to talk to NPCs the camera stays on their face and it takes around 2 minutes to talk. I cannot exit or respond in any way, and the game crashes after around 5 minutes. I have uninstalled as well as loaded previous saves, but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

So I'm on the mission Brave New World. There is a doorway I have to go through. Anytime I go through it my game freezes and instantly crashes right after. If anyone knows how to fix it plz let me know.

Wondering if anyone is having issues completing Achievements/Trophies? I am on PC using Game-Pass and trying to unlock the Achievement called "Got Your Back" Which requires you to kill 50 Enemeies using a Companions Skill. I am currently stuck on 2% Complete and regardless of which Enemies or People I kill nothing increases the Bar. Anyone else having this issue?

On the Quest "The Commuter" where you need to talk to Corlatta in the warehouse, I did kill the guard standing at the front gate, then also killed the remaining guards inside the gated area between the generator and warehouse. Once done I went upto the door and when I use the intercom the game crashed. I restarted the game and had to do it again but this time was able to speak to her thro the intercom. She opened the door but as soon as I go to speak with her the game simply closes/crashes again. I have restarted the game, finished another side quest and then returned to her, restarted my PC, reinstalled, checked and updated Windows as well as all drivers and each time I run into the same crash when I try to speak with her. I am using this thro the Windows PC gamepass. My PC more then meets the req's to play the game as well. Any help would be great. I did submit a support ticket on the privatedivision.com website but wanted to post here as well incase anyone else had the issue and found a way to fix it.

So i think I accidentally killed Caroline, in the city & the stars & now, no matter how many times i kill myself (no matter where either) I cant get through the barred door in the Ministry of Accuracy and Morale. I dont have any backup saves to go to before i think I killed her so... Please help, ive been trying to find a solution for over 5 hours... Just about ready to uninstall the game.

My right joystick is drifting when I'm trying to look still at something. It's really annoying when trying to pick up small objects, or looting enemies. The crosshairs keep drifting just a little bit. Iv tried playing other games and it doesnt seem to be my controller. With THAT being said. Wow what a great game! My experience so far has been %100 awesome otherwise. Hope this post helps resolve the issue. Looking forward to an update in the future.

Okay so I just started playing The Outer Worlds and I was delighted to discover I could kill anyone I wanted! Well at least so far. So as soon as I met the character Reed I had a conversation with him, then as soon as I got the quest and we finished talking I shot him and his guards in the face, and continued on with the quest. At the end I diverted the power from the geothermal plant to the Botanical Lab and made my way to Edgewater to steal the power regulator. Well here's where we run into problems. I make my way to the Saltuna Cannery building killing the guards in my way just to find out I can't open the door leading down to the power regulator. It stays "Sealed" and I can hear the locals asking if Reed is hiding down there, so I assume he is suppose to open the door to speak with me or something, but sense he's already dead nothing triggers. Hitting the little switch to the right of the door does nothing. I'm stuck. The quest is broken and I can proceed, making the game broken unless I restart. "What are we suppose to do now?"

Chant glitches are still in game and they happens VERY OFTEN! But here it is, I have a screenshot, savegame and some explanations here. So finally, You will be able to reproduce at least two problems related to that ugly situation. So, please, excuse my English, I am doing my best though and let's get started. Game version: v3.7.0.1318 PX1 PX2 PX4 -steam Game was started and played with Russian localization. Explanation. 1. I retrained Kana, made new chants and named chant "C" as "Ranger" and chant "B" as "Fearless", chant "A" name wasn't touched. 2. Removed Kana from group, quit the game. 3. Launched the game, loaded last save, recruited Kana back into group, jumped to few locations and then noticed Kana's bar. 4. Kana now have two "C" chants into game interface. Chant "C" marked as active is named as "Стрелы Миноретты" and another one "C" marked as not active is named as "Ranger". Chant editor on chant "C" shows name "Стрелы Миноретты". So it was autochanged at some moment from my "Ranger" to "Стрелы Миноретты". "Стрелы Миноретты" is Russian localization for something like "Minoretta's Arrows" or "Arrows of Minoretta", but I haven't found anything related to it on English wiki pages. This name is automatically assigned (for some unknown reason) to chant with "Sure-Handed Ila Nocked Her Arrows with Speed" phrase at first place. I haven't touched chants when I encountered this problem this time, so You can check all of this in savegame posted below. All "B" chants on screenshot have equal names "Fearless", which I set at the same time as I set name "Ranger" for "C" chant. My game language set to "Russian" and yes I have used English names for chants such as "Fearless". I thought that would help me to avoid that glitch, but... no, it doesn't. I told You at the very beginning of this post that this glitch happens very often. Savegame file: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XYUQN-TQ9DCJ_Ugld0E5-BzyStSvrN0D So then I tried to reproduce the problems described above from this saved game and looks like I found the core of this. 1. So, I quit the game. 2. Launched the game again and loaded that save I have posted above. 3. All "B" clones are gone, but two copies of "C" chant with different names (one active and one not active) are still present. Nice, at least one problem is still in place. You may load game in English or not English localization it will be here anyway (tested with English and Russian localizations). So, how to reproduce that "B" chant clonalization from my savegame. Best way is to: 1. Remove Kana from group. 2. Move to a different location. That building behind group members is ok, so just click on doors. 3. Go back and recruit Kana back to group. 4. Tadaaa "B" chant now present in two active icons. 5. Do it again from step 1 to step 4 and Kana will have three active icons of "B" chant and so on. IMPORTANT: Game language must be set to something different from English (tested with English and Russian localizations). This clonalization is not reproducable if game language is set to English (Just do it twice for English locale). Chant "D" was also touched at the very beginning of this and named as "Fire". It looks nice at first moment. But after those tests listed above, 1. I set game language to Russian. 2. Set chant "D" as active and removed names on chants "B" and "C". Their default names were equal at that moment "Пример распева 2" which is "Sample chant 2", yes, both "B" and "C" stated as "2". 3. Did steps 1-4 from "B" chant testing (dismiss Kana, enter building, leave it, recruit Kana back). 4. Chant "C" problem with double icons is still in place but they both inactive now, and chant "D" started to clone itself instead of chant "B". Also in chant editor, chant "C" cleaned itself to have only "Sure-Handed Ila Nocked Her Arrows with Speed" phrase and autonamed now as "Ranger"... Pure magic. o_o Update: chant "D" default name is also "Sample chant 2", tested both in Russian and English, just cleaned names on "B","C","D" and they all named as "Sample chant 2" in English and "Пример распева 2" in Russian. So, chant "C" has connection to chant "B", something definitely wrong with that chant (Please, note active icons for chants "B" and "C" at the game load of savegame posted above). Chants "B" and "D" have same cloning problems. So what about chant "A"? Chant "A" default name is "Марш Камоа" which is "March of the Kamoa". It is named as "Марш Камоа" in savegame listed above. Remove that name and it will be "Марш Камоа" again while game language is set to Russian. Renaming works perfectly and no cloning issues. I made it active and did steps 1-4 from "B" chant testing - no problems... Update. I have broken chant "A". 1. Set game to Russian, and load savegame posted above. 2. Open chant editor and set name for chant "A" to something like "asdasd" and make it active. 3. Do steps 1-4 from "B" chant testing (dismiss Kana, enter building, leave it, recruit Kana back). Just do it TWICE. 4. Chant "A" start to make clones of itself. So yeah chant "A" has some protection, lol, but can be broken also. Update. Chants "A", "B", "D" can be cloned even when game is set to English. That "Just do it TWICE" works against English localization. Attached output_log.txt made for testing with English locale. "B" chant was successfully cloned. Well. It is 2019 now, I know. Few years have passed and Deadfire hits place long time ago, but I still love that game. So, well, I hope You Obsidian guys will finally fix that glitch, because it seems that it is possible now. output_log.txt

When clearing a Pool of Memory trial on Kazuwari (for me it was Trial of the Changeling) characters that end combat flanked will still be considered flanked after exiting the challenge. This flanked condition doesn't clear on restart or rest. The only way to clear the condition is by entering combat, getting flanked, and then getting "un-flanked", so to speak. I am 40 hours into this game and tried loading my file. Once I choose to load the screen goes black and that's it. Hard resets have not seemed to work. Is there anyway to get around this Glitch? Would uninstalling the game and reinstalling work without losing Save data? Or will my save data be gone? I am very shocked and defeated seeing this kind of game breaking glitch occur for a game so old and with such a following.

So I killed all of the slavers on crookspur and returned to rusare, but all she says when I click on her is "come no closer outsider" and nothing more. I restarted from an old save and did the quest over, but I got the same problem. The quest log tells me to talk to rusare, but I can't open dialogue with her after the first attempt at dialoge. My guess is this has something to do with aloth's quest bugging out the dialogue but here's my save. A solution, even a quick workaround to this is what I need most as I can't really play deadfire without one. Thanks. Also, I can't attach any saves, even a single lone save to my post. Hello y'all, I was wondering if anyone else have this issue as well: sometimes during gameplay, the screen will randomly lock up, leaving the current frame frozen in place, but the sound will keep on playing and I can still move my party around (I can hear the footsteps) but as I said, the frame is frozen. It happens every half an hour or so. I've read somewhere that this can be fixed by updating drivers. No results. I've also read that it can be fixed by disabling the Steam overlay. Also no results. I also tried playing in fullscreen and windowed, no difference. My setup: Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K CPU 3.40GHz Windows 10 64 bits RAM: 8 gb Graphic Card: GeForce GTX 660 Ti, Driver version: 397.93 To be entirely honest, it's not game-breaking, but it's really annoying. I'm loving the game so far, but it takes away from the experience when you have to save every 30 seconds to make sure you don't lose any progress. Thank you, JP

Hello all, I completed PoE one and sided with Hylea when it came to receiving a gods bounty, I also returned the souls to the hollowborn children in order to get Hylea's Bounty ending cards. However after importing my save into Deadfire and meeting Hylea, I have now had my boat covered in poo Despite me completing the previous quests in PoE and importing my save, Hylea seems to think I betrayed her at somepoint. Im not sure if this is something specific I did wrong (I did get the ending cards that would be in line with pleasing Hylea) or if something went wrong in the save import. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated as it sucks to put all that effort in only for it not to be carried over. If needed I can attach any save file.

Description: Saved games load in with no gear and weapon replaced by animal weapon on the Watcher. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Go to Outcast's Respite Go to the Alchemic Pool (my personal name for the pool of glowing purple liquid, no idea what it is called in the game files) Drink from the pool several times, and while you are transformed, quicksave. Reload your save that you made while you are transformed Cry at the loss of any equipped legendary gear items and weapon that was equipped. If all goes according to how my game got jacked up, your weapon should be replaced with some animal based weapon, similar to Druids that are transformed. (sorry, I was an idiot and didnt read the bug reporting rules before submitting this post so I didnt think it would be accepted, sorry for the repeat submissions.)

Hello, I'm playing PoE 2 but since I can't avance the main history I decide to try the new mechanics around ship managment and fights, also exploring the map. So I find out that when you interact with a merchant ship you fight them or trade with them. SI obviouly you want to fight them, but the fight don't start the music of the fight betwen ship start but you still in the navigation map, but the bug don't end there. When you go and explore some island you can get in to a fight against some xaurips, ogres, etc. Whe you win that fight you actually get the pop up when you win a ship battle so you actually get all the bonuses on exp and loot for the ship battle that was bugged. I'm playing on the beta patch

I've been having a strange issue with some of the dialogue in the game, while I have had the issue where at the start of dialogue the audio is cut off, this is something different. I can hear all the audio being spoken but it's very...stuttery, starchy, quiet and cutting in and out every second. I don't know how to quite explain it but that's the best I can do. It only happens with dialogue, the background noises, music etc. are playing just fine while it's happening. I can ask them the same question to get the dialogue again but the 2nd time it'll play like it should. So far I've only encountered it with Durance and more often with Kana and 'so far' only when I've been asking them questions. I haven't heard people mention this issue before, only the dialogue getting cut off at the start but does anyone know what might be causing it or ways to try and alleviate the problem? Thanks.
