Hey. Minor spoiler alert ahead on one quest in a large questline: Quest name: Overgrowth I'm on my second playthrough, trying Iron mode, which means i only have one save file. I've played about 12 hours on this playthrough. Bug: Character stuck walking on "deep water". Not able to access land. All other characters are on land. No work-around found to progress game. I'll cut straight to the case: I've now reached the quest "Overgrowth" in Cignath Mor Temple. I defied the God. I've just faught the Kraken, but one of my fighters used the skill charge, and somehow got stuck in the middle of the water (Where the Kraken stood before dying) The character can walk on the deep water, but can't go outside the deep water, to the shallow water The mouse shows an X in a circle around the character that's stuck. This is resulting in me not being able to progress my game. I can't leave the place without my whole party. I'm not allowed to use charge on friendly members (only attack..) I've added my save file in the attachments. How can i get help to solve this without starting a new game???

The ancient bug with "Old Watcher" quest which was reported here multiple times is still broken: Maerwald is dead but no choice is offered by Steward regarding what to do with him. Hence, next quest "Never Far from the Queen" is not started. This is 100% game-breaking and deserves retro-fix. http://www.fileconvoy.com/dfl.php?id=g3cb533b090df47a9999729522f36347776539e647 This is save next to Steward: talk to him to see that no choice regarding Maerwald is offered. Check the quest log to see that "Old Watcher" is grayed out but no next main quest is available. And please, do so before link expires. Btw, will it really lead to you company's bankruptcy due to hosting expenses if you increase forum's file upload limit to whopping 2Mb?

Edit. I did see in another thread you clarified that you realize you have NOT fixed the story progression bug. The bug list is misleading tho as it seems to say it fixed it. I suppose will just have to keep waiting. This is a pretty big bug tho I hope it's fixed soon. I can't play anymore of the game until it gets fixed. There WILL be spoilers in this posts about Factions. The patch notes talked about fixing the game-breaking bug of not being able to continue in the game due to the factions not working correctly. Well this patch was suppose to fix that. However it doesn't. It's still just as broken as before. I started with the merchant quest and sided with the Doemenels because they offered a better reward for my services. This gained me a "in" with the Doemenel family faction. Than I did the quest for the Crucible Knights. I saved the girl. Got the research notes. Turned it in and realized you get an awesome reward for it. So than went to the Dozens to try to screw them over. I accepted their quest and tried my hardest to ruin them. However this didn't entirely work instead I ended up as a Hero to them. So at this point I was a hero to the Dozens. I'm a Champion with the Knights. And I'm a Friend of the Doemenels. Now I went back to the Doemenels to see about getting my just rewards from them as well. Except they found the note from early in the game where I killed their would be robbers. And Instead of being praised for siding with them I was told I had to do their dirty work. So I said screw that. I went and turned them in to the neighbors next door. THAN I robbed the gem upstairs for myself. By the way there is nothing you can do with this gem after you beg the house owner for extra money and than rob him. The Doemenels think they've failed. And the guy no longer cares that you carry the very diamond he paid you and thanked you for saving. Now the Doemenels only talk about having failed and hence won't invite me to the hearings. The champions hate me even tho I'm their champion because I helped the Dozens. And the Dozens hate me because I'm a Knight lackey. Even tho all three of these factions I have very high reputation with. Worse yet. Lady Webb even with this patch still doesn't let me join her to enter the hearings. So the story is STILL stuck and I cannot continue the game. I did all those faction things as soon as I got ot the city. Theres over 35hours of game time since than. I would have to start so far back to fix this one bug. Please figure out a way to correct this bug for real. I'm really enjoying the game and would like to continue to do so.

Once I'm within the options menu (within the game), I can't leave. This window asking me to save changes keeps returning, regardless of whether I click Yes or No. I have to quit the game entirely and can only use quick saves and quick loads to record my progress.

Essentially, the plot-critical quest "Ebon Hawk ID Signature" is broken. Everything seems to work up until the cutscene that plays with the Ebon Hawk taking off... only instead of the story advancing, the game plays an incorrect cutscene from earlier in the story (some Duros(?) bounty hunters in the cantina, discussing the Exchange' trap). After the wrong cutscene plays, the party respawns in front of the Ebon Hawk--still on Nar Shaddaa--and the events with the droid repair shop are "reset." So, I can go back to the droid guy and request a new ID signature, but the quest is no longer active, and I'm unable to obtain a new ID signature because I no longer have the blank ID card. And, of course, there's no way to leave the planet because the Ebon Hawk demands a new ID signature. I'm playing the game with the Sith Lords Restoration patch... and even then I've encountered dozens of bugs. I've always heard people praise KOTOR2 effusively, but this is the second game-breaking bug I've found and if I can't find a way to get around it I'm just gonna give up entirely. So, please--help me out, would ya'? I'm thinking that I might be able to fix it by changing some of the global variables with the save editor--like the thing causing this might be that the wrong cutscene that plays might be assigned a "0" instead of a "1" or something--I don't know. I'm really desperate for help here... evidently, no one else in the whole Internet has had this problem, going by Google search results.
