  1. So, I go today, I buy all the expensive upgrades for my ship, and set off for endgame. Everything seems well- we make it through the storm, we land on Ukaizo, and we do all the dialogue with the Guardian. I haven't had a ton of technical difficulties with the game -some freezes here and there- but nothing my PC couldn't fix itself. Changing some of the graphics settings helped. However, and every time I go into this fight, the game crashes on me. I've got bout 6 error folders in my game directory that I can't puzzle out for the life of me, but I've done it enough that I have a few guesses as to what's happening. My theory is that something spawned in this fight the game simply cannot handle. Is it the Guardian? The giant Adrat? Who knows. I have actually managed to take everything in the fight down, had my party get the level up from the XP gained, and then have the game crash, but it usually crashes within five minutes of the fight, sometimes before my party has managed to knock anything down. I'm tearing my hair trying to figure out just what I can do to fix this. Help! [i'm not sure which of the three files to attach, so attaching the Error.log]
  2. I've been playing for a few days. At first everything was very smooth. Then game started to lag, and now starting late yesterday, it shuts my computer off out of the blue. Just bam - no power. It sounds like a similar issue from the first game: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72006-shuts-down-computer/page-1 It doesn't seem to be an overheating issue - it recently shut the computer down as soon as I loaded the game; other times I can play for a couple of hours or more. Forum isn't letting me upload the save game file, but I'm attaching the output log and specs. Editing to add: Now it's doing it as soon as I load the game and click on something, every time.   3. Game seems to crash when I get into combat with a large number of sand grubs of all things.   5. Just started happening today. I was in Gullet, had triggered the transfer to The Hole (I think that was the name, it was in the southern part of the map) and the game crashed and it hasn't started again since. I've tried verifying the game files via steam but hasn't resolved the issue. The only thing that changed for me was I set fullscreen to fullscreen from windowed but had made a few map transitions on this setting before the crash.   6. PoE2 crashed while loading Fort Deadlight, just after selecting to go in through the window. Here are the crash dump and logs that were generated.   7. I have currently come to a complete halt in my playtrough due to not being able to visit Queen's Berth. I have run trough that area multiple times, but today when I loaded my savegame I would consistently crash few seconds after loading the zone. I have had a good 50 hours played so far. I have attached the output log and the DxDiag.txt system specs. Hi, I have multiple crash after arriving to Neketaka for the first time, some of them are in the start of the cinematic, sometimes before start the dialogue with the guardians of the shipyards, sometimes when I end that dialog. So far the game was playing fine with medium graphics but in that part of the game I put the game in low and mute all sounds effects and the game still crash after the dialogue end. I don't know if my computer have low spect or is a issue in that zone.   10. This crash happened right after the "cutscene" with the Pallid Knight and the other gods. Would've been the first Cutscene, right after the leaving the fort. Was on my ship. Logs attached. 2018-05-11_191004.zip
  11. Clicked X in character creation screen crashed (memory?) Steam Version Graphic Driver Nvidia 391.35. Additional info: Updated Nvidia Driver to 397.64. Click X on character creation screen (no crash).

  13. I recently purchase the two DLCs for the game and now when I try to launch the game it crashes. I'm running it through Steam. I get this message: Oops! The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2018-01-16_182532" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game! I have attached my system specs to this.
  14. Description:​ So, I just recently tried to move the cloak Badrwyn's Cover from Serafen to Maia, both of whom were not in my active party. So seeing no other way to move it across characters I switched both of them into my party and moved the item. I then proceeded to pull them out of my party and replace them with Pallegina and Ydwin. When I press apply the game crashes and gives me an error report file. I repeated this for the sake of determination but instead switch out Aloth rather than Ydwin. Same thing happens. I again repeat this but instead first switch out Pallegina for Serafen, unequip the cloak on Serafen, put it into my stash and switch Serafen for Maia. I then give Maia the cloak and switch Maia for Pallegina and the game crashes once more. As one last attempt I try to just replace Pallegina for Serafen unequip the cloak, then switch back to Pallegina. Now the game does not crash. Can confirm with further testing that the thing that seems to trigger it is equipping anyone with the cloak and switching them off the party right away. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: ​You can simply go into the inventory, unequip the cloak from anyone if it's equipped, re-equip it to any character and swap that character out of the party to induce the crash. It is also worth mentioning that if you already had it equipped and just switch them off the party then no crash occurs for me. output_log.txt
  15. Hello, For the past few hours ive been exploring the Old City area under Nekataka. I've found the first Cornett of Depths(i think) in the dungeon itself. Bear in mind i haven't met Dereo(i think his name was) at this point but went in looking for a dead guy who was lowered down with the cage. Anyways first cornett in the pocket, defeated the giant grubb and at this point i put the cornett in the door in the Giant Grubss room, only to take it out later since i couldnt find the 2nd one. Eventually i met Dereo, he told me about some rich dude who had the other Cornett, so i bought it off him for 2500. Went back to the temple doors without telling Dereo about anything since i don't want him involved wanting to put in both Cornetts this time. but now everytime i try to load the map where the temple is it says "Loading error" "There as an error loading the next map Returned to main menu to prevent save game corruption. It happens on both sides from which you can enter the temple map. It only started happening after i aquired the second cornett and I didn't have a single issue with only the first one(from the statue in the dungeon) in my inventory. I hope this gets fixed soon because im very intrigued by this damn door. Have a good day. Toadz
  16. So, I've seen a few people discuss this in other threads, but not this exact issue. I'm not completely sure what the problem is here. Seems like a potential driver issue, but I'm not 100% on that. I have rolled my my nVidia drivers to see if that would stifle the issue, but nothing has seemed to help thus far. My current drivers are 397.64. I've made it to the character creation screen several times and every time, without fail, my game seems to crash. You can still hear the music looping, but both of my displays go black. This prompts me to do a hard reset because there is no other way to access my computer. Up until I've reached the character creation screen, everything seems to work like it should. I'm unable to upload a save file because I can't even save the game before this error occurs. Another weird fact about this, is after the hard reset, my resolution has changed to 640x480 (in black & white) and was unable to change it until I updated my computer (although I was already at the latest version of windows at the time). I'm genuinely puzzled as I've never had this issue on my computer playing any other game than PoE:II. I really would love to give this game a shot, but I can't get beyond the character creation screen. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! output_log.txt DxDiag.txt
  17. Hi. I have a trouble. Game freezing in the load screen in the location when i for first time met Aloth - when i try to go to the sub-level of the arena. After the first crush in this place i can`t load any of the saves in this area (only in this area; saves from the beginning normally working). In other parts, game works perfectly, without freezing and bugs. Really didn`t understand why is this happenning.
  18. This is a non-sporadic crash, at least for me, I have attached an error log. Apparently some game module still refers to steam even though I play the GOG version. The steps are as following: - go to the ship/world map - enter party management, dismiss your companions. - grab another set of companions - equip them etc. - re-enter party management and re-select your older companions - game crashes. The only way to move forward with this is to SAVE before re-entering the second selection, so that you can either exit or let the game crash, reload from where you were and then select your crew again, i.e. don't select a party two times in a row, I guess. If you do that it's not game breaking but it's still a pretty concerning bug.   19. When I start the game everything is nice and fine until I'm in the place between stuff in the opening walking along with other souls hearing and seeing history. Then the game shuts down my computer as if the plug was pulled. Exactly like the bug in Pillars 1, actually, that was never resolved so I never got to finish that game. (Link to the 2015 bug: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72006-shuts-down-computer/ ) Since Pillars is the only game that has done this to my computer during 4 years of active gaming I firmly believe this is a bug in Pillars that should be addressed and fixed this time... Attaching the output and dxdiag files since the game never gets to make a save and there is no way to screenshoot a rebooting computer. Hoping Obsidian can find the bug and fix it this time.   21. Summary: the game freezes/crashes during the introduction cut-scene, specifically during the final line of the opening narration (at or shortly after the colon preceding the last clause). Assuming the final clause is a separate audio file, it may be crashing while trying to load it, as the voiced narration ceases at the moment of the freeze. Screenshot: I'm unable to provide a screenshot, as I noticed the Steam overlay ceased to function at some point during the cinematic (I could take a screenshot when the first paragraph was on-screen, but could not by the time the third paragraph was visible); the Print Screen command only copied the desktop at the time of the freeze. Details: I've tried to run the game about a dozen times w/ various settings ticked in the options menu, trying various compatibility modes. Am currently running the game on a Windows 10 x64 PC w/ an older HD6870 GPU, which I know has had some problems with Unity, but PoE1 ran perfectly, so... I dunno. I've also (of course) verified the integrity of the game cache and tried running the game with administrator permissions, with and without the Steam client. Completely deleting and re-installing the game is a last resort as, unfortunately, I suffer from that terrible condition known as bandwidth caps. Save file: not applicable.   22. I need help, I've tried reinstalling, I've tried Confirming Cache and nothing seems to help. Crash instantly no splash screen. I purchased the game via GOG.com and installed via GOG Galaxy. I played for a short time a day ago and since then I have gotten nothing but the instant crashes, I made no changes to my computer before or after. Bought the game today, and installed. failed to even boot the game with screen dump of "oops, game crashed" Have tried checking integrity, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and all of the fixes i've found on official and non official sites/forums attached is the error file asked for. this forum wont let me attach a file either.... please help. not even sure who or how i can contact anyone about this, have wasted 8 hours trying to get this damn game working.
  24. Today I managed to play few hours in Pillars Of Eternity, then stopped for sometime and just exited the game (traditional way, Game Menu -> Exit to Main Menu -> Exit). Now when I'm trying to start the game executable says that game crashed, log created (attached here) and it would be great if I'll send it to you. So here we are.
