Krakens dead, signal was given, but there is no option to interact with the crystal like I did to enter the lake prior. What's wrong? Is this another bug? I'd be pretty upset if I couldn't finish this whole expansion and end it so I can finish the main game.

I've been thinking, which region would be the one with the most possibilities for the story to continue. And I think, unless new things happen elsewhere, it would be one of two: 1- Rauatai: With the end of storms across the region, it is a place where there can be many changes. But it is true, that it would be repetitive to be again in a country of aumaua. 2- Yezuha: This region that Rekke presents us, presents us with something new. A land where the "gods" of Eora have not promulgated their doctrines. And also, being a country unknown to the rest of the powers, there would be many conflicts. The Republics would fight for trade, Rauatai may have tried to conquer it, and Aedir would send missionaries and inquisitors to bring them the "true" faith. What is your opinion? Or also ... In which region would you like the game to take place?

I'm not sure on how the sales for pillars 2 is currently to this date, but last i heard is that, even though the sequel is amazing and on par if not better then the first, the game flopped financially and sold poorly, with developers stating that if they were to return to pillars, they would need to re-examine the formula of the pillars games and why the second game didn't do as well. If they decide that it was due to the reason that everyone who played the first game had enough of RTSwP type of game play and didn't need/want a sequel, then they may divert from this genre of games entirely, they attempted it with the turn based system in pillars 2 (don't know if the sales are still low or have risen over the years, couldn't find anything about that) which i don't think is a drastic enough change to warrant people buying the game, they may need to do something bigger, bolder but also keeping it somewhat similar to the old battle system. I think that it would be in Obsidian's best interest to have game play similar to FFXV or any other real-time strategy game. i think that this would make sense since it would shy away from the CRPG genre just enough so that it is it's own thing, whilst possibly retaining most of it's aspect and elements of strategy. It could also be of interest of Microsoft and, if they have a say in any of this, 2K since it would bring back old fans because of the story and new fans who seem to enjoy the new style game play. either way, whether they continue with the exact, or extremely similar, game play, with some good marketing and using all of the services Microsoft provides, game pass, there could hope for a a new pillars game. Do you guys like the idea of a FFXV game play style, or maybe something more ambitious like god of war 4 hack and slash style, or even a first person elder scrolls type of game, or the original style game play. I'd just like to see the story of the watcher continue and possibly conclude.

Switching apps MacOS
rddn posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Is there a way to switch from the pillars of eternity game to other apps like google chrome? I'm playing the game on macos and would like to be able to look things up on the internet without quitting the game. Thanks everyone.-

Hello, I am in act 3 just before entering in the pits in the Court of Penitence, but my quest progress for the Trials of Durance is still on ID 10002 "I had a dream about Durance. My eyes seemed unable to focus on him, and a blinding light burst from his staff. Something about the dream seemed all too real - as though something in his soul was revealing itself to me. I should ask him what I saw." I searched around and found out that I am way behind on this quest and I have already seen the second vision about the twelve fading circles on the staff. Looking at previous forums, I figured out that I need to talk to him and discuss some key topics of interest to him i.e. where he got his staff, the Godhammer, and the name Durance. And even after doing those I still cannot get a prompt to ask him about my dreams. My plan now is to play the White March and hopefully have him prompt a conversation with me so I can ask him about the dream and further progressing this quest, but hopefully someone has some experience with this issue can help me out.

Hello, I've been searching for the game cursor for a while now, because I would like to use it as my main cursor. There were other people online asking about it too, but nobody had it available. If anyone could post it or at least direct me to where the cursor is within the game files, I'd really appreciate it. Sorry if this was meant to be in the off-topic section, I just thought a moder would probably know how to go about finding it easier. And no, I can't make it in paint Thanks in advance.

For the next game, I think that the known characters of our group should be divided into two groups: Those who accompany you to the battle in your travels, and those who stay at your base, and give you advice. Among those who accompany you, you should see Maia, Pallegina and Durance. (Apart from the new colleagues you meet during the new adventure.) And among those who are at your base and talk to them from time to time, I would put Aloth, Eder, Fassina, Ydwin, Kana and Hiravias. (Oh, and also our dear Vela) What is your opinion?

Well would you look at that! Deadfire didn't just win the best desktop/console game for Unity, it even won the Golden Cube award! I say this is definitely well-deserved considering the fact that Deadfire is a criminally underrated gem. It even managed to beat Cuphead which makes it even more impressive. Congrats to Obsidian for this amazing milestone. With Microsoft's funding I can only see good things coming out from the talented developer over the coming years. Something really cool in this game is the way some of the mechanics, quests, and storylines surprised me. The direction(s) the game took instead usually make a lot of sense, too, but go against what a player used to typical RPG patterns. Examples!: Romance - As a disclaimer, I'm not really into the romance feature of RPG's generally. I've been listening to that content and the negative rep conversations post-facto because I wanted more PoE content and I've already beaten the game, and probably won't ever go the routes needed to see the content naturally. That said, although I know it upset and disappointed some people, I really liked that PoE2 doesn't make the whole party deeply in love with you and champing at the bit to date you. The romance mechanic kept in mind the people in your party, their personalities and personal interests, and determined if they'd ever be interested and, if they are, what kind of relationship they'd be interested in/okay with. It actually adds a level of depth that's really neat! I'd say every companion handles it differently, but the most notable examples that drift from the typical RPG set-up that I can think of are Serafen, Eder and Pallegina. Serafen is completely cool with flirting and casual sex, but doesn't want a relationship. Eder and Palegina are no where near an emotional place to even be interested. And even Aloth, while technically romanceable, won't ever engage you himself and will reject you unless you're in a specific situation. There's no magic way to make them change their minds by just being charming or the main character, either. --- Maia's Quest - This is one of my favorite examples (I've seen someone else mention this earlier, too). RPG's have ingrained the idea that every companion needs help with something personal, and that helping them out is the nice and right thing to do. Generally, if there's a gray zone or a questionable moment, you're usually given the chance or expected to correct your companion's direction. Usually doing otherwise is the evil or wrong thing to do. Maia's quest completely manipulates you and those assumptions into potentially doing some horrible things. It comes off as banal and helpful at first, but there's obviously something wrong, there's no way to get anyone to admit what, and there's no way to stop Maia from doing it altogether or change her mind before she's already done something horrible. You have to either already know the consequences or go off your own suspicions to decide to go against the objectives, which completely goes against the player mentality. And you have to pretty much be a **** about it - which at least in my case, is extremely uncomfortable. The way the quest objectives and its story works does a great job at showing how the RDC works and thinks, and how Maia works and thinks. And it's especially fitting that a quest that manipulates player assumptions like this comes from Atsura. --- Eothas's Storyline - This one is a little more finnicky. But I really liked the ethical issue his storyline brought up, in part because it felt like a storyline a main character in an RPG might do. Eothas is trying to do the ultimately right thing, in his eyes, by giving kith the opportunity to see what the gods are and gain independence and freedom from them. But the actions he's taking to make that goal are morally reprehensible - sacrificing and killing hundreds (thousands?) to do it, with no choice or say on their part, and potentially dooming the entire universe without anyone else's say. It's interesting, because that's the kind of thing a player character can and often does. To some extent. Often RPG's give you morally gray or questionable choices for the ultimate greater good. Often getting the best result involves killing several people. This, and Wael's comment about how the main character, "reaps, but on a smaller scale" like the gods, made me start to feel a lot more uncomfortable with the choices I was making for other people and the people I was hurting or killing to get an end positive result. I have at least one more example that I like, but this is already kind of a wall of text, so I'll hold off on that.

Hallo there, I've played PoE for more than 20 hours but after a 40 days break, every time I am launching the game it crashes creating a folder suggesting to send it to game developer. I' ve tried many things (like reinstall, files verification etc.) but to no avail, my drives are up to date. I am also attaching the error folder. Thanks in advance. Or rather, my game doesn't even want to open when I add in the SweetFX files.... Is my PC the problem? Or does this have a work around?? I'm pretty sure this mod worked fine about a year back, but now it just doesn't....maybe it isn't compatible with the the latest version? Anyway, If anyone knows how I can get it to work, that'd be great! Info; I have an intel I-5, 8gb ram. All I recall atm, but I'm pretty sure it the mod should work fine with the rest as well....it did before so, why not now? :/

I felt like sharing my favourite characters, and would love to see your best one as well! (This one's almost straight from the dark side lol. But she's honest about it... xD) CLASS: Barbarian (Will also be druid in Deadfire. multi-classing FTW! ) PERSONALITY: Aggressive, Cruel, Honest, Passionate. BACKGROUND: Raider. BIO: She was pretty much raised by a group of bandits. Her real father is unknown and her mother abandon her, leaving her with her aggressive stepfather when she was of an early age. Despite the hardships, she found comfort in nature, and wile observing the animals and their wild, untamed nature, she came to respect them, as well as respect what they stand for; - the weaker is always destined to get chewed up by the stronger. That is still her mentality. She killed her step father at the age of fourteen, then joined the very group of bandits that theorized her home town. Together they took whatever they wanted to, went where they wanted, and most importantly ; - did what they wanted. She was free to test her own strength, and free to take everything the weaker ones had - lives included. LOVES: Money, wild nights with other wild women (if you know what I mean XD), strength and power, wild animals/beats, straightforwardness, bravery. HATES: Random acts of mercy, pity, comfort, cowards and liars. PILLARS ENDING: *After killing the man who asked her to poison the child in face to face combat, she then decided to take the baby with her and raise her as a warrior. *She strengthened the dyrwoodens, following Gallawain. So...what about the best character you made? :D

Maybe with a remake at the least to keep the level etc... does anyone know if this has been asked before or addressed and if so, do you have links to what was officially stated ? Please and thank you and bless your good faces all you backers of this marvelous project !

Hiho! I'm Jahz and I'm new to this forum and PoE. I have to start with - "Sorry for my english", couse it can suck at times. Okay, now before I post my question I need to give you guys some background: I haven't played a lot of old-style cRPG games. Only a few quite a long time ago already and tbh I never was a smart man, more of a straighforward one so I need some help from you guys. By not being smart I mean - I suck at micromanagement of my characters and figuring out good tacticks to use, so I'm probably going for normal difficulty and I'm not realy looking for MIN/MAXing my character, I prefer a little more balanced one. Mainly I have problem with deciding which class to start playing with, which race would be best for it and some build examples or tips for building my beloved avatar. Let's start with my playstyle: I love playing a melee characters, with some mix of magic added to them and optional ranged in some situations. As for weapons I go mostly for 2handed swords and scythes (which are not included in this game if I'm right ). I also have an affinity for animals and nature. As for the last part I prefer being a DPS class with some light/medium armor options. Mostly light one probably. So now we can easily limit our class choices to: - cipher - becouse it would be best fit for melee/magic style I think - ranger - has a combat pet, duuuh~ xD - druid - with this one I would be leaning more towards some kind of shapeshifter focused build. - if there is a class I missed out by accident then please add it in your post too! And now - could you guys tell me, which one would be best for a beginner and my playstyle? How to build my character up? Which skills to take, talents, attributes etc? Should I micromanage my NPC companions too? Or is their auto level system pretty good? Which race would be a best pick for those classes (I was mostly looking at the Orlan, Godlike or Elf race)? I hope you all can push me in the right direction to make that first run of mine a great experience!

Game crashes on launch
Canuck11 posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I recently purchase the two DLCs for the game and now when I try to launch the game it crashes. I'm running it through Steam. I get this message: Oops! The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2018-01-16_182532" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game! I have attached my system specs to this. -
Dear community, Finally, the fan translation for Pillars of Eternity has been released by translation brazilian community "Tribo Gamer". I was wating for years to finally buy Pillars so I can enjoy the game in my native language, and I can confirm the translation is just fantastic. Tribo Gamer has a history of superb fan translations of MANY PC Games, and even CD Project Red made a deal with them to release a translation for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition (already released). They translated Pillars of Eternity main game, and also have plans to translate the expansions. Good news for all speakers of Portuguese around the world, who can now buy this incredible game and enjoy it in their native language. Some screenshots:

I was thinking about that recently, I hope there will be somekind of a Résumé, to remind us what happened in Pillars Of Eternity. Like the Voiced-Over Slides at the End of the Game, having something that tells you the Story you've experienced & where we're at now at the Beginning of Deafire. Even better if the Slides could react to your past choices & their consequences, as they did at the End of the first Game. Where, when you Import your Saved File, your Story continues, but we're exposed to some sort of a reminder about what we've done would be so freaking cool. Remind us of our past adventures, what we've accomplished, [on a Global Scale, maybe some Important details], like : What was the State of the Dyrwood when we first came in. [Hollow-Born Childs] How did we became the Watcher. What happened when we dealt with Raedric VII / Kolsc. [Ally ? Ennemy ? Raedric Returned ?] Maerwald & How we became the Watcher of Caed Nua. [What happened when we dealt with the Master of the Deep, underneath the Castle [Killed her ? Help her ?]. Defiance Bay [Animancy, Houses (Doemenel/Etc)] Twin Elms [Gods Trial] What happened with all the Dragons [Hylea, Etc] Include what we've done in The White March. Etc... Since Deadfire will scan your Saved File/Story for the Story to come, maybe it can Remind you what happenned before, just to get the feeling of continuing our Story. That's all I'm saying... Of course, Cinematics aren't necessary, but Sliders/Etc like what happened in the End of Pillars Of Eternity would be just fine. I say this because I'm sure I've forgotten many things I did back then, and each of us don't necessarily have the time to re-do 100+ Hrs of Gameplay. And I also think about New Players who will come into this game directly. They should be exposed to what happenned, who they are & why they are in the Deadfire's Archipelago, Etc. I'm sure the "Introduction" will do that, but include a Résumé of our Back-Story aswell if you can.

Today I got on to Pillars of Eternity and an update news announcement let me know that a bunch of new portraits and a few unique items from Deadfire had been patched into the game. That would be great, except now the game itself will not work, I have tried loading different saves, I have tried starting a new game and it keeps crashing. Any fixes?

Back when Pillars of Eternity was released on GOG.com there were no upgrade paths to higher tier edition - unlike on Steam. However, we have been promised this: Source: https://www.gog.com/news/release_pillars_of_eternity Well, no such thing was ever introduced. Now there's the new Definitive Edition which includes all extras of the Royal Edition. As I'm a big fan of Obsidian's work and I'm one of those customers who bought one of the lesser editions of the game I would have loved to upgrade to the Royal Edition at some point but we never got those upgrade options. I'm very disappointed that this situation hasn't changed with the new Definitive Edition. Again GOG users cannot upgrade to a better version of the game without buying a full version of the game again. It's pissing some people off over at GOG and I think rightfully so. Obsidian, can you get in touch with GOG staff and work something out? This situation creates more frustration than it should be. Edit: I'm not the only one who feels this way, just take a look at the PoE DE release thread at GOG.com: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_pillars_of_eternity_definitive_edition_63164/page1

The Results of our Recent DLC Survey
emoney posted a blog entry in Obsidian Marketing and Market Research Blog
Hey everyone! Your friendly, neighborhood, marketing drone here with what I hope will be an eye-opening insight into gamers' thoughts on DLC. First off: a big thank you to everyone who participated in our survey. Hearing your thoughts helps us understand your opinions better, and make better games. Background For those who don't know, on October 4, 2017, we published a survey, asking some key questions about players' preferences regarding DLC, and a bit about their backgrounds, as well. As anyone at Obsidian will tell you, I am big on data, and have been pushing for stuff like this for a while. So, hey, thanks for making me look good with the absolutely huge response we got to the survey: Forecast Response: ~12,000 - 18,000 Actual Responses: 55,035 Sources: Kickstarter/Fig Backers, Obsidian Forums, Obsidian Newsletter, Reddit (big thanks to the awesome humans at /r/projecteternity and /r/Fallout!), Twitter, Facebook, and from many of our wonderful developer and publisher colleagues. The survey ran until October 20, 2017, and we thank everyone who participated and all our partners who assisted us! For those who missed it, here is the amazing survey background art we used, as created by our Community Manager, Aarik Dorobiala (presented here in 1080p for those who want to use it as a wallpaper!): A Note on Sampling Methodology The statisticians among you will have noticed that our data-gathering methodology was not blind, and that's an important thing to call out. Because we didn't use a random sample of our customers or backers, but rather went to specific areas and allowed those populations to self select, we know that some of the data in this survey will be skewed toward those specific population groups. For our purposes, however, that's fine. We are interested in engaged gamers who are likely to be interested in our DLC (and DLC secularly), and we were willing to sacrifice some methodological precision if it meant driving more participation in the survey for this go-round. The fact that the survey got more popular than we ever imagined is a bonus, but it also means we need to take these results as directional, rather than strictly determinative, since the populations who responded to the survey may or may not be representative of the total population of RPG fans out there. -- Section 1: Demographics While the first section of the survey asked about DLC preferences and the second, optional, section asked about demographics, I nevertheless want to show the demographic results first, so readers can understand a bit about who answered these questions before they see how the questions were answered. The demographics section was 100% optional, but it's not clear that everyone understood that. Although we did have some folks opt out of certain questions by skipping them, we may have had significantly more if we added an affirmative opt-out answer choice to every question, which is what we will do in the future. This was my mistake, but one of the things to think about when you review these results is that I treated this piece at least in part as a "meta-survey." That is, I wanted to test certain questions and methodologies as much as gather data itself, so I can improve our data gathering and survey user-friendliness going forward. Please note that we have omitted a question for the sake of consumer privacy. Question 1: Age We were a bit surprised to see how many of the survey respondents were teenagers, but otherwise, our age demographic for this survey tracks pretty well with what we expect for the "typical" gamer: about 3/4s are between the ages of 20 and 34. Question 2: Gender While we expected that we would get a majority male response, we did not expect it to be this skewed. Only about 2% of people skipped the question, though we were asked why we did not have a third, or opt-out gender option, such as "Prefer not to answer." That was an oversight -- I simply believed people would opt out by skipping the question. Question 3: Country of Residence We were very gratified to have people from nearly every country in the world reply to our survey -- despite the fact that it was only available in English. While the numbers aren't clear on the chart, Germany featured the most respondents from a non-Anglophone nation (2,431), which was almost as many as Australia! Since the map doesn't fully show everything due to size constraints, here's the top 10 countries by number of respondents: USA - 25,089 UK - 3,939 Canada - 3,909 Australia - 2,471 Germany - 2,431 Poland - 1,651 Sweden - 1,412 France - 1,132 Russia - 1,070 Finland - 923 Question 4: - OMITTED Question 5: Preferred Gaming Platform Windows PC was by far the most commonly used gaming platform for respondents, followed distantly by Android Phone, PlayStation 4, and Portable Consoles, in that order. No other system was a major occupier of time for most of our respondents. One thing that was interesting to see was just how much more popular Android was than iOS among our respondent group. One note: our survey was quite popular on the subreddit for PlayStation 4 (/r/PS4), but the equivalent Xbox One subreddit (/r/XboxOne) does not allow surveys, which may have biased console usership results. Question 6: Preferred Purchase Platform Tracking with the use of Windows as the primary gaming platform, it's no surprise that Steam is by far the dominant platform for respondents' game purchasing decisions. Of considerable interest, however, is how high up on the list official console digital marketplaces ranked. This suggests a shift among leading-edge (or "core") gamers toward digital purchasing on console, away from brick-and-mortar or other physical disc distribution. NB: GOG.com's abbreviation should be rendered GOG, not GoG, apologies for the typo in my chart! -- Section 2: DLC Questions This segment consisted of mandatory questions, and just about everyone completed it -- we had less than a 1% abandonment rate on the survey. While there were ten questions asked, we omit the tenth, as it involves internal Obsidian benchmarking, and was originally geared toward a specific consumer-targeted audience, not the much larger audience we ended up getting, so the results aren't super valuable. Question 1: Owned Obsidian DLCs It's no surprise that Fallout: New Vegas, still one of our most popular games, remains the leader in terms of DLC ownership. We also had a significant number of respondents who owned DLC in Pillars of Eternity and, surprisingly, Neverwinter Nights 2, a game that's now more than ten years old. Only about one in ten respondents did not purchase any Obsidian DLC at all. Question 2: Acquisition Method This question got a lot of feedback from the community, and I'll will revise it if we ask a similar question in the future. The feedback largely centered on a few issues: A large number of respondents commented that, while they would not commonly refund/return the base game in order to acquire the Game of the Year (GotY) Edition, they would refrain from purchasing a game at all once DLC of any kind is announced until a GotY or other complete edition is released. Many people felt that the question insufficiently described why or how the DLC was attractive and therefore made it difficult for them to assess the value of a season pass or DLC. Everyone loves sales, so that answer choice could have been folded into the others as a value-add. Question 3: Preferred DLC Features I color-coded these by type so it would be easier for everyone to parse respondents' preferences. Overwhelmingly, respondents want more game content -- that is, they want the game itself to be bigger, deeper, longer. They want to be able to come back to it, or continue on with it. However, there was also a significant number of respondents who were looking for expanded or additional game systems, such as multiplayer (co-operative) or replayable modes such as roguelikes. Anything tagged as "competitive" or "PvP" was not considered attractive, however. Question 4: Quantity of DLC Respondents were very clear here, and their responses track with the bias toward content-based features in the previous question: people want bigger, deeper DLC for their money, not small stuff. Question 5: Influential Factors The most influential factor for the majority of respondents in informing their decision to purchase DLC is price. This could imply that respondents feel that DLC is generally overpriced, that DLC generally doesn't strike them as a good value at MSRP, or simply that gamers are cost conscious. Among the other factors, word-of-mouth factors such as a friend's recommendation or score from bona fide other gamers were the most important in influencing buying decisions. Interestingly, most respondents felt that time between base game launch and DLC launch was not a major factor in their decision to purchase -- this could be interpreted in two ways: either respondents don't mind waiting for deep content, or they feel that they won't purchase new DLC no matter what, until it's on sale. Questions 6 & 7: Price Calibration These two questions were designed to work in tandem. I was looking to anchor respondents at a $45-dollar base price for a game, and then see if raising that base price in a subsequent, identical question, caused them to re-value an associated season pass. Given the structure of the questions and the expected effect of the anchoring, the 7.8% difference in average expected price can be considered not statistically significant. Basically, the base price of a game, alone, was not enough to make gamers think differently about the value of the season pass (and, by extension, other associated content). We got a lot of feedback to these questions that price alone was not sufficient for them to evaluate the value of a season pass, and, of course, that's true. To give some insight into what I was trying to accomplish with these two questions: I was interested in whether putting a change in base price in front of a consumer's face would cause a cognitive bias that might affect his price tolerance for ancillary purchases. In other words, does price alone have a direct relationship to perception of value or further willingness to engage with a product? Looking back on this, was this question the best way to evaluate this heuristic? Probably not. I've had some suggestions for improvements that I intend to incorporate into future question series, and I'm going back to my behavioral economics texts to deepen my own understand -- but I still think the results are interesting, nevertheless. One other note: while our respondents put the desired price of season passes at around $17, in reality, RPG gamers pay about $25 for them (when purchased as a separate product, not as part of a Deluxe Edition or GotY) on average, according to industry sales data. Question 8: Free DLC Pretty clear message here: people like free DLC. 4% of respondents, however, clearly feel that DLC is not good, in any form. Question 9: Genre Preference Everyone hated this question's answer choice structure. I tried something newfangled by allowing people to drag and drop their answer choices in a stack-ranked list, and we got a ton of feedback on it. First, it apparently didn't work on mobile -- sorry about that, I should've tested it better. Second, a lot of people commented that they felt pretty much equally weak on a variety of genres but felt they were forced to rank them better than each other, anyway. This is interesting, though, because despite a lot of these comments, Sports and Casual emerged as the clear losers. You'd think that if, say, the bottom five or six genres (which is what most people said they didn't care about) were equally lousy to people, you'd have a fairly even distribution, since the order of the answer choices was randomized. So, while our respondents didn't like the way this question was structured (and I'll kill it for next time), it is interesting to see that it forced the truth out -- sports and casual games are the least liked. Therefore Obsidian is killing our latest secret project: Lord Bolingbroke Polo 2018. Just kidding, we wouldn't do a casual game. -- Conclusions All in all, lots of great takeaways here, and we'll be using the data internally to ask some even more in depth questions. For example: do people who own Pillars of Eternity DLC also own Tyranny DLC? Do Europeans have different DLC preferences from North Americans? Why do RPG fans hate sports games? There's so much to be learned here, and we are so grateful to our fans for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We will continue to get better at making surveys, and we hope you will continue to engage with us and let us know how you feel, so that we can try to make the best games possible for you. We know we can't please everybody all the time (this survey proves that), and we're not trying to do that, but if this kind of research can help us get better at making the games we love to make, then our marketing team is doing its job.- 48 comments

Game randomly crashing
magusfva posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I've recently downloaded the game on Steam after a few months without playing. Now the game keeps randomly crashing during gameplay (not during loading screens or any specific action). It just gives me a Windows message that the game stopped working and needs to be closed. I've already tried to delete and reinstall the game, no success. I also tried verifying the game cache, but it found no errors. I have an Acer laptop, Intel Core I7 7500U, NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX 4gb, 8gb ram, running Windows 10. Need some help. -
There is an ending where Maneha "Rediscovers her lust for battle, and her also having a lover, saying she had a life of violence, excitment, and passion. While there is an ending for Zahua saying that he took on a new apprentice, a female, trained her in everything he knew before she finally left for her own journey. Does anyone out there know how to achieve these endings? I've searched all over google and only know how to get every other ending on Pillars of Eternity EXCEPT those two. Has anyone ever got those two before? Thank you for your time reading this and hopefully having an answer to it.
