  1. Hello there, I've just bought PoE and was full of anticipation. But after creating my character, the game keeps crashing.. It crashes to desktop a few seconds after loading a savegame - I couldn't play further than to the first wolf. This happens with the "game is not responding" message. I already verified the game files via steam and observed the takes manager while "playing": CPU won't go higher than 50%, memory won't go higher than ~1,2 GB. The video card driver is up to date. I attached my system specs and the output log (should be playable with windows 10 64bit). Does anyone know a way to solve this? What I've seen so far lets me really wanna play this game.. output_log.txt DxDiag.txt
  2. Randomly, while playing the game, the game crashes. This has happened during startup and in the game while moving from place to place. The game crashes and I get a pop-up telling me it would be nice for me to send a crash file to the developer. As this seems to be completely random, there are no specific steps to reproduce this.   4. Hi there, I want to report a bug i experiment three times yesterday. Description When an event triggers a series of chain explosions like Maia shooting barrel of black powder, well, my computer shutdown and restart ... Steps to Reproduce the Issue - Go to Hasongo (there are many barrels of black bowder) - Shoot barrels group of black bowder with Maia. - I begin to see and listen the explosion but then my computer shutdown and reboot. Savegames i'll add it later. Output log i'll add it later. System specs i'll add it later.
  5. Game seems to crash when I get into combat with a large number of sand grubs of all things.   7. So, I go today, I buy all the expensive upgrades for my ship, and set off for endgame. Everything seems well- we make it through the storm, we land on Ukaizo, and we do all the dialogue with the Guardian. I haven't had a ton of technical difficulties with the game -some freezes here and there- but nothing my PC couldn't fix itself. Changing some of the graphics settings helped. However, and every time I go into this fight, the game crashes on me. I've got bout 6 error folders in my game directory that I can't puzzle out for the life of me, but I've done it enough that I have a few guesses as to what's happening. My theory is that something spawned in this fight the game simply cannot handle. Is it the Guardian? The giant Adrat? Who knows. I have actually managed to take everything in the fight down, had my party get the level up from the XP gained, and then have the game crash, but it usually crashes within five minutes of the fight, sometimes before my party has managed to knock anything down. I'm tearing my hair trying to figure out just what I can do to fix this. Help! [i'm not sure which of the three files to attach, so attaching the Error.log]
  8. I have currently come to a complete halt in my playtrough due to not being able to visit Queen's Berth. I have run trough that area multiple times, but today when I loaded my savegame I would consistently crash few seconds after loading the zone. I have had a good 50 hours played so far. I have attached the output log and the DxDiag.txt system specs.   9. PoE2 crashed while loading Fort Deadlight, just after selecting to go in through the window. Here are the crash dump and logs that were generated.   10. So, yeah title says it all. I played last night and everything was mostly fine except for the combat memory leak. When I tried to start it up today after patching, the game doesn't even start up. Just gets a message window saying the game crashed and telling me to send the crash info folder to the developer. output_log.txt DxDiag.txt
  11. The game crashes randomly on me after about 15-30 mins of gameplay. I was hoping the recent patch would alleviate this. Not sure how to send the crashlog data to you all, but everytime (well most of the time) when it crashes it does create: 1. a folder in the Steam Directory where PoE2 is installed with: a crash.dmp an error.txt an output_log.txt I have tried to review those myself to see if i need to update something on this end but after reading so many other similar posts, i just would like to know the most effective way to send these files to the developers? I dont really want to post them here, or use say a dropbox or another path I would much prefer a direct email / support to Obsidian, just not sure the best way to do that...
  12. 3 times in a row now when I investigate the Old Battleground on the south-western part of the Isle of Tikawara (after shocking the creature away from the southern-most event) I get a crash. I saved after shocking the creature, loaded, and investigated the Old Battleground again and didn't get a crash. Could also have been a fluke that I didn't crash cus of that. 2018-05-18_175348.zip
  13. I'm experiencing a game stopping crash in Fort Deadlight. I've just had a drinking contest, won it, and a guard comes down the stairs. I take the opportunity to go up the stairs, and the game crashes. The odd thing is that although I the screen locks up and stops redrawing the audio continues in the background. So i hear the interactions playing out as if I'm still playing. The guard comes back up the stairs, tells me I'm not meant to be up there etc etc. If I alt-tab out and try to return to the game screen it never redraws, I have to ctrl-alt-del to end the task. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6gqry2xgri97a9c/20180518_POE2_Crashe.zip?dl=0 I've included dxdiag, save 'just' before the crash and the output log in the ZIP file linked above.   14. Edit: Please disregard and delete this topic, I figured out what's going on and will post an appropriate (and accurate) bug report at a later date.
  15. My game crashed at the end of the conversation with the gods, after leaving Port Maje for the first time and heading towards the next main quest location. Game recommended sending the crash files to the devs, so here they are.
  16. Description:​ So, I just recently tried to move the cloak Badrwyn's Cover from Serafen to Maia, both of whom were not in my active party. So seeing no other way to move it across characters I switched both of them into my party and moved the item. I then proceeded to pull them out of my party and replace them with Pallegina and Ydwin. When I press apply the game crashes and gives me an error report file. I repeated this for the sake of determination but instead switch out Aloth rather than Ydwin. Same thing happens. I again repeat this but instead first switch out Pallegina for Serafen, unequip the cloak on Serafen, put it into my stash and switch Serafen for Maia. I then give Maia the cloak and switch Maia for Pallegina and the game crashes once more. As one last attempt I try to just replace Pallegina for Serafen unequip the cloak, then switch back to Pallegina. Now the game does not crash. Can confirm with further testing that the thing that seems to trigger it is equipping anyone with the cloak and switching them off the party right away. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: ​You can simply go into the inventory, unequip the cloak from anyone if it's equipped, re-equip it to any character and swap that character out of the party to induce the crash. It is also worth mentioning that if you already had it equipped and just switch them off the party then no crash occurs for me. output_log.txt

  18. Description: The game crashes with no obvious reason. I have experienced crashes while in the level up menu, in combat, and out of combat. I don't believe I have experienced a crash while in the world map, but I've had so many that there might have been one that I forgot about. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: I do not know how to cause the crashes for the most part. The first 2 folders containing the crash.dmp and output log I will be uploading is from a combat encounter that I have managed to get 2 crashes in a row from.   19. So, I've seen a few people discuss this in other threads, but not this exact issue. I'm not completely sure what the problem is here. Seems like a potential driver issue, but I'm not 100% on that. I have rolled my my nVidia drivers to see if that would stifle the issue, but nothing has seemed to help thus far. My current drivers are 397.64. I've made it to the character creation screen several times and every time, without fail, my game seems to crash. You can still hear the music looping, but both of my displays go black. This prompts me to do a hard reset because there is no other way to access my computer. Up until I've reached the character creation screen, everything seems to work like it should. I'm unable to upload a save file because I can't even save the game before this error occurs. Another weird fact about this, is after the hard reset, my resolution has changed to 640x480 (in black & white) and was unable to change it until I updated my computer (although I was already at the latest version of windows at the time). I'm genuinely puzzled as I've never had this issue on my computer playing any other game than PoE:II. I really would love to give this game a shot, but I can't get beyond the character creation screen. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! output_log.txt DxDiag.txt

  21. I've been playing for a few days. At first everything was very smooth. Then game started to lag, and now starting late yesterday, it shuts my computer off out of the blue. Just bam - no power. It sounds like a similar issue from the first game: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72006-shuts-down-computer/page-1 It doesn't seem to be an overheating issue - it recently shut the computer down as soon as I loaded the game; other times I can play for a couple of hours or more. Forum isn't letting me upload the save game file, but I'm attaching the output log and specs. Editing to add: Now it's doing it as soon as I load the game and click on something, every time.   22. Just started happening today. I was in Gullet, had triggered the transfer to The Hole (I think that was the name, it was in the southern part of the map) and the game crashed and it hasn't started again since. I've tried verifying the game files via steam but hasn't resolved the issue. The only thing that changed for me was I set fullscreen to fullscreen from windowed but had made a few map transitions on this setting before the crash. Hi, I have multiple crash after arriving to Neketaka for the first time, some of them are in the start of the cinematic, sometimes before start the dialogue with the guardians of the shipyards, sometimes when I end that dialog. So far the game was playing fine with medium graphics but in that part of the game I put the game in low and mute all sounds effects and the game still crash after the dialogue end. I don't know if my computer have low spect or is a issue in that zone.
