  1. Clean solo run (no drugs) - 3rd time this has happened today. The picture is pretty self-explanatory. GL&HF
  2. Game freezes or crashes shortly after Rymrgand smashes the ground with his axe upon refusing to serve him. I don't know what happens after that because after the camera follows the purple fracturing effect, the screen either freezes or the game crashes. I've attached the crash log. The screen freeze is similar to that of the Fort Deadlight bug. 2018-08-06_184944.zip
  3. The game continues to crash a lot. Can't play it in peace. I don't know what is causing it, i'm sending some files. 2018-08-04_173654.zip
  4. Hello! I've random crashes and game says something like "Oops! Something goes wrong, crash report created, send it to Obsidian!" So i've collected some files for you Save file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18p9c-jRk9uu3PhqFUGk66DuN2MSxE5Dz/view?usp=sharing DxDiag.txt 2018-07-25_101628.zip
  5. I have a new iMac less than three months old. This game constantly has screen issues, half the screen is water half is land. Dialogue doesn't load properly on the screen, level up text doesn't load, voices cannot be heard. What is going on? I requested a refund and have been denied because I played for 5 hours. Half of that was spent trying to work around the bug issues, reloading the game. Waiting on the screen to load, hoping that it would work. I paid for the 59.99 package. This is insane. Ive attached a screenshot, I have more but they are more than 510kb.... I'm waiting on the second refund attempt and if that doesn't work I will post more until this is fixed.
  6. I had 3 crashes so far. Here are the folders about all the crashes I had: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0zgpd7uewzkvanm/AACaCiGrp7fpO0aR4ATuP1oLa?dl=0
  7. On MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017). I have a level 11 Eder that I'm trying to respec. If I do it on my macbook pro, I get prompted with a "are you sure you want to reset eder to level 1" dialogue, and the moment I click "accept" or whatever, the game hangs and then my mouse cursor beachballs. If I do the same thing on my PC, I immediately go to the character level up screen after clicking accept. Dropbox link to save game and output_log from my mac (along with screenshot of my system information): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sr51p5ry2w5lmj2/AABCAXmnBlPqp2F8tqtV51Bma?dl=0
  8. Well, title is self-explaining, i think. Random crashes occur EXACTLY when i end up on yacht and continue throughout the game. Sometimes it happens in dialog, sometimes when i open character screen. TSLRCM. Does someone has exact same problem?
  9. Cant play the game, it randomly crashes aaaaall the time. Heres some of the reports i got, all are access violations. Interesting that i got Pillars 1 to play something while 2 gets fixed and it crashes too WTF !, 0 issues with other games. 10. Good afternoon, Am experiencing a curious oddity of a crash. I've played through PoE before on my Toshiba laptop and had no real issues. However, I recently upgraded to a new (non-laptop) computer, and decided "you know, I think I want to replay PoE and import my character into PoE 2, now that it's out". I've a relatively new system, which includes a GeForce GTX 1060, a Realtek soundtrack, an obnoxious amount of RAM, and no idea why the game locks up. Naturally, I've updated my Nvidia and Real Tek drivers, and despite that the crashes still occur. Upon attempting to load the game, it gets as far as the initial encampment scene, and after wandering for a few minutes around the encampment, the game suddenly locks up. It doesn't BSOD me, it just...locks up. The audio continues to work - Justin Bell's double-fine tunes continue playing in the background despite everything freezing up like some kind of freaky flash mob. As per Obsidian protocol, I've attached my DXDiag text and the Output log. I've attempted to attach my most recent savegame, but am not being permitted to attach it to this message for reasons unclear to me. It would be lovely if someone could attend to this post and perhaps offer an email to which I could send the savegame, should they need it, as well as some advice around how to go about eliminating this issue. Thank you kindly in advance for your time and effort! Best, Ilya DxDiag.txt output_log.txt
  11. In Fort Deadlights, simply scrolling the camera over the area that on the map is labeled "To Forge" causes not just the game to crash, but appears to also cause my video device drivers to crash. The device driver then recovers (which involves the screen flashing black briefly), and about half the time the game simply crashes and shuts down. The other half the game is still sort of running, but the visuals are completely whited out. Though you can still hear sound effects and, seemingly continue clicking on the ground and objects. You just can't see anything. At first, I thought that my video card drivers, which I hadn't updated in a while, were to blame. But even after updating them, rebooting, and then turning all of the game's video settings down, the problem persists. Of note, I tend to play the game in a window, if that might matter. Attached is the the save game that is closest, simply scrolling up and left along the stairs from the starting point is enough to cause the crash. Also attached is the output_log file and the DxDiag.txt for my computer. There was a crash file in the Pillars of Eternity II directory, but as it is a 2gig file somehow, and I have crappy DSL internet, uploading that is pretty unlikely to ever happen. I assume the problem is some weird interaction between my graphics card/drivers and the game, but damned if I have any idea how to fix the problem. It's a shame, because I was really enjoying the game right up until this point. Edit: Looks like the attachment didn't actually attach because of the ridiculously small max size, link to the attachment: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l0y6cotv2sxa8ez/Bug%20Report.zip?dl=0
  12. This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the game. The latest patch to the game or the newest GPU driver has not fixed the issue. I thought I'd post an update with a save game where it occurs 100% of the time. If you load this save and then **** around in some inventory menus or try and level up and take too long, it is a black screen driver crash every time. The only way I've made it as far into the game as I have is rushing through all my menu navigation and often closing and saving in-between since I have to repeat a lot. I have experienced roughly 50-60 crashes since I first started the game. I am still trucking along but I am close to throwing in the towel. https://drive.google.com/open?id=13DXaP98vExj51_4xPRTfMnDJTGy_-pFD I can't attach my save file because of size limitations so its in the google link. Hopefully this can be fixed someday so I can actually enjoy this game instead of it being an exercise in frustration. DxDiag.txt
  13. http://ennui.org/crashlog.txt http://ennui.org/autosave_0.savegame I was trying to resize the combat log window.
  14. I experienced my first crash when trying to leave the map where you fight Meryel the Mad. I couldn't reproduce the crash. I've attached the crash folder that was created. 2018-06-21_174632.zip
  15. Experienced a crash when exiting the Engwithan Arena (1st ruins) heading to the world map. Crash log attached + save file.
  16. Hi there, Experiencing lots of crashing to desktop while going into or out of the buildings in Periki's Overlook. Some crash output logs and system specs in the attached zip. Thanks, Crash.zip
  17. With the latest patch I can't do anything. Attempting to start a new game results in a black screen, and then back to the main menu with this message "Error loading next map, returned to main menu to prevent corruption". This is a huge problem, basically has made the game useless.
  18. Crash in jungle on island with Flame Naga in Deadfire. Crash report: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ninpoztk9lrszyg/AAByuNrTsXrsgb95uPaS7H78a?dl=0
  19. This has happened twice now. Crash log at http://ennui.org/crash.txt
  20. This game crashes. A lot. I'm yet to discover what causes the constant crashes, for they occur in a variety of situations, such combat, entering or exiting a map or just walking across Neketaka. The game freezes, then crashes. Several perfomances issues make the game completely unstable. I play saving every 3 minutes, just waiing to a crash, I love this game and want to keep playing, this just need to be fixed. The Crash Logs ate atached. PoE II.zip
  21. Crash log folder is too large to attach. It can be accessed at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/as8uhfbnl0n7q0t/AADRqLhWBTB4MHGCaVPmGOswa?dl=0
  22. At the Poko Kohara ruins, if I approach the pack of Desert Wurms from the southeast, the game engages in combat, and then about 2-3 rounds into combat crashes completely. I've attached the crash file.
  23. Description: The game crashed when I tried to travel to Old City using the lift. After that, I restarted the game and was able to travel with no issue so I don't think that the bug is so critical but I hope that this report will help to make the game better. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. Important Files: - Savegames Unfortuately, there is no save game left, it was a quick save that has been already overwritten. Output Log Attached to this post. Crash Output Attached to this post. System Specs DxDiag report attached to this post. Screenshots - DxDiag.txt 2018-06-05_215334.zip
  24. whenever I try to level up a character the game crashes. I've been playing for 14 hours, and haven't had this problem before. I did however used to have a bug where the game would crash randomly, that seemed to be fixed by adding "-force-d3d12' to the launch options. I've installed the latest Gpu driver and verified the game files integrity.
  25. I've been doing a re-play of the first Pillars with the intention of playing the second game again, but the game seems to be crashing a lot this time, especially (but not exclusively) when loading a new area. When I close the program and try to re-open the game, I get a message telling me the game has crashed, and I need to re-start my computer to play again. I re-installed the entire game recently and have verified the files on Steam. I've turned off the Steam overlay too. output_log.txt output_log.txt output_log.txt output_log.txt
