  1. i have enjoyed this game a lot, and willing to overlook tons of bugs. every game, i have to back out to main menu at least 5 times bec there is no continue button, cards are displayed with no close button, etc. Each bug interrupts the game and is an annoyance, but usually no show-stoppers. But lately there are so many game-breakers that force forfeit that are very discouraging. * undo while using swipe from another char puts that other char's card(s) into current char hand - then card disappears at end of scenario! * harpy check on 5-5 (which only one char could pass) continually repeated, until none of my chars had any cards left. * used amiri move ability at end of turn to bring another char to amiri's location - afterward, no buttons at all, no way to continue. Back out to main menu lets me re-do the move, but once that's done, again no buttons at all, no way to continue. Another forfeit. Is there an ongoing list of open issues? Searching the forums for each issue would be too onerous, yet having dupe errors all over the forums creates too much noise for support team. I fear there are so many bugs that actually just playing this game will never happen. I run into so many bugs, if an obsidian person sat with me, they could find lots of things to do, no need to hire a tester. But I suspect there is already a large list of things to fix. Sorry to be so negative - i actually do like this game, but just feeling bogged down by so many forfeits lately.
  2. Sometimes I would get this weird pathing issues with my companions. It seemed to start right when I got a sixth companion, or in my case Sagani. Basically when the party moves to their move location. One or more companions "stutter" rapidly in place trying to find a place to stand. It seems like the issue might be worse with a party formation that is compact, but it happens still in more spread out formations. You'll also get an annoying sound of rapid footsteps as the characters jitter. ​ ​I think sometimes even NPCs off screen can bug, because sometimes (once my own party starts bugging out) I'll hear rapid pacing from what sounds like an NPC off screen or in the fog that is. ​ ​This is a bug that exists in the current version of the game with both expansions. ​ ​--- ​ ​The purpose of this thread isn't exactly to beg for bug fixes in PoE1, though that'd be nice. But it's to collect a number of issues that could be fixed going forward. Since Deadfire is actively being developed and that's where Obsidians focus and resources currently lie.
  3. Ever since your last update my iOS version can't link to social game network / internet and so can't earn gold etc. I had just bought daily gold so NOT happy. Please advise
  4. Before I get to the main problem, lets cover some basic grounds #1 I have played a number of your games but this is the only 1 I play on my phone. It is by far, in my experience, your most unstable. #2 This game has hundreds of bugs. I don't think I have played a single session that didn't have some king of bug #3 This game often freezes completely and I must close it out and restart it and/or reboot my phone to try to get it to even move. #4 I never wanted to make a sign on on your forums. I just wanted to report bugs, lots before, but there is absolutely no easy straightforward way to do so on the internet. Maybe there is a way through my phone, but I doubt it. I don't like writing on the phone for good reason, easy to type on a computer...but why do I need to give you my email address etc. etc??? Why isn't there a place to simply submit bugs? Give me a break, this game has hundreds of bugs- and no way to report so NO WONDER ITS COMPLETELY UNSTABLE #5 I play the game because its fun and interesting but your delivery is crap. It's like a really good soup served at a restaurant filled with roaches and filth and sometimes there is a fly floating in your soup. Let's fix the bugs before making more content PLEASE. Don't be Ubisoft. THE BIG BUG- Sporatically heals stop working completely. Cure, Mass cure, major cure, healing staff, shaman ally. None of them heal. THey get used, ask for recharge check or get recharged/discarded etc.- but cards are NEVER moved from discard to the deck. This bug SUCKS> Makes you lose completely if you were using any kind of healing as your strategy for that quest. THis is not cool. ESPECIALLY with quests that make you Banish cards to close and try to win.... This is like bugs that tweak or screw with checks, crashing on checks that get made, making you take them again. There are a few bugs that work in the players favor, but most like this one break the game and make you lose. It's really really really annoying. Worst case scenario I try to get my money back...which I can't,....but if the game constantly bugs and crashes and has bugs that make you lose...I can at least complain etc. Most likely I just quit... OR you guys could pull your heads out of your butt and work on the bugs NOT MORE CONTENT> Fix the unstability PLEASE. This game is hanging on by a thread in terms of stability. FIX IT. This bug at least, it is a complete game killer.
  5. (1) On several occasions, when using a blessing to add dice/die to a check, it incorrectly REPLACES my die instead of adding a die. For example, if I'm rolling a d6 on a non-combat dexterity check and use Blessing of Calistra, my d6 goes away and instead I get 2 d4. This has happened with Blessing of Sarenrae and Blessing of Shelyn as well. I haven't used blessings for every case where I would get 2 dice, but I know those for sure. (2) I've used Seoni's arcane blast ability for some fights. I discard a card to activate it, but if I cancel it, it does not return the discarded card to my hand! (3) Sometimes when I want to use a weapon, by either reveal or recharge, those tabs don't appear. I usually just tap the screen where I think they may be and the effect still works, but this is an issue, nonetheless. (4) In the fight with Mokmurian, several of my characters have defeated him in the first round of combat, but instead of proceeding to the second round, my turn simply ends!! He isn't shuffled back in the deck, he just remains on the top of the location deck. What's going on here?
  6. So, I can't go into quest mode anymore - instead I go into the scenario selection for story mode, all the way back to only Brigadoon on being unlocked. Before this happened, I selected Legendary Mode. I did introduce a new Level 1 Merisel into my 38-40 Level party. I was pursuing the Daily Challenge "Complete Two Legendary Quests". The error with Story and Quest modes being confused seemed to occur after the check for completeness of the challenge. Details: iOS 9.3.4, latest version of app.
  7. Questmode - Legendary - Permadeath Scenario Power- Painful Memories, Full packs and 2d4 difficulty modifier for Giants. First Off Villain Preview. Mamma Graul..understandable. Henchmen Preview. 8 DORELLA and HOOKMAW..eight! First off, i know its quest mode, i'd like to ask if this is possible and is as intended? This is the first time i encountered multiple named /unique henchmen in a scenario..Ok, we asked for it. Gameplay. Draw 1 Dorella&Hookmaw. AI roll for modifier (3+1) AI ask to roll for Dex (10 to beat ) Succeed in Dex roll Combat > Difficulty didn't increase by 4..stayed at 12 (bugged?) Beat it AI rerolls for difficulty Modifier (4+2) Combat > Difficulty is now raised by 6 (21 to beat now) Villain first Fight Draw Mamma Graul AI rolls for modifier Mamma Grauls summons a henchman (skeleton i think) Roll combat damage for henchman and succeed Face Mamma Grauls but her difficulty wasn't raised and she was beaten On the second fight Everything happens again except when i finally beat her..she just sits around the screen, doesnt banish and the scenario won't end. Ole dependable Option > Vault > Escape unstuck me.
  8. I tried opening a chest 6 times, and it glitches each time. I see the number of chests go down, but no card appears and the whole thing crashes.
  9. I am playing the Here comes the Flood adventure. I won the scenario, but the game does not advance to the next adventure. In fact, I've won multiple times and not had the game advance. In addition, on the current run through, while closing the shop and the game requires a roll to add items, when the roll is completed and the first card is revealed, the background goes black and nothing can be done. I really enjoy the game, so please put out a patch to correct these problems.

Google Nexus 7, Android 6.0.1 I have two (possibly three?) bugs in "Into the Mountains" which are only showing up when I play on a difficulty level above "baseline". 1 - When a wildcard power says "When you acquire X, Y, or Z, bury a card", it also triggers the scenario "When a hencheman is defeated, each character is dealt 1d4 Force damage." for every character at all locations. 2 - When I defeat a hencheman, after the "1d4 Force damage" to every character bit, I get no option to close the location. 3 (maybe a bug?) - Barriers that summon henchemen (skeletal horde, skinsaw ritual, etc.) also trigger the "When a hencheman is defeated, each character is dealt 1d4 Force damage." These, in addition to my quests being totally frozen (http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/87789-quests-completely-frozen/?do=findComment&comment=1821895), makes my game virtually unplayable I really love the Pathfinder ACG, and I really like the Obsidian interface... but I am drowning in these bugs... please help? Thanks in advance.
  11. On legendary, permadeath, questmode 1. When Malugus (boss) triggers the scenario..after rolling 2d4, the game gets stuck. It won't allow me to attack or evade him. Happened twice on Dungeon and Shrine to Lamashu. Had to forfeit. 2. When you face henchmen that you roll 1d4 for abilities (ogrekin, i think) sometimes after rolling 2d4 for the scenario, it won't roll the 1d4 for the ability. It'll just list the ability. If i vault > back to game, the ogrekin's difficulty is raised but no additional ability. If i destroy it, location closing doesn't trigger.
  12. Ipad 9.3.2 Permadeath Questmode Seelah Amiri Lini Sajan Ezren Seoni Legendary -Arrow Traps, Ill Wind, Giant traits gains 2d4 difficulty Happens on all locations I encountered the boa. Non horde.
  13. Ezren uses Brodert to scout the bottom 3 of current location. I chose to discard Brodert rather than bury him and succeed on a role. Ezren uses Charm spell and summons Cyrdak I use Cyrdak to draw Brodert from discard Ezren reuses Brodert to scout another location ..Brodert does not get buried. He just stays in hand giving me free scouting on all locations bottom 3 cards.
  14. I mentioned this elsewhere but I have yet to hear back and the problem is still persisting on the beta. The charm/dominate effect abruptly stops disregarding any amount of time left on the duration. The cipher power whisper of treason is still average cast though it was labelled fast and mind wave is showing the cone range originating from the cipher rather than the target of the spell. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86044-whisper-of-treason-not-working-correctly/ https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/85858-charm-effect-ending-prematurely/ Confused is also switching between green and yellow circles, messing up targeting. I know behavior is random when confused per tick but it I feel like it is not intended to swap back and forth as it causes trouble with auto attacking switching off. Attached pic shows some yellow, some green.
  15. Is there any in-app way to send feedback or capture strange behaviors, weird situations, unexpected interactions? I've had a few things that may have been Working as Intended but definitely unclear, as well as a few freezes.
  16. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with Android 5.1.1 Bug 1: When using the Escape Cloak (probably not what it is called just what I think of it as. It is a red cloak that allows you to evade and move) while encountering a henchman at a location that can be automatically closed. I have noticed that the location gets closed without defeating the henchman. Bug 2: When using the Cleric's "Heal" Power and Revealing/Discarding Holy Water it does not heal 1d4+1, it only heals 1d4. Bug 3: When a blessing states something like "Add 2 dice to a non-combat *STAT* check". If your Active character is in combat, and one of your NON-active characters uses a blessing described above for the stat the active character is using, it will add 2 dice instead of 1. - I don't know if this is a bug, since the non-active character is not the one in combat, but it is still a combat check so if not a bug it should be worded differently. Bug 4: When in the deck management phase after a mission, if the screen locks, when you unlock it sometimes the cards can not be moved. I found I need to force stop the app and get back into it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suggestions: - The cards can be difficult to read at times, it would be nice if there were icons saying the pertinent things like how many dX a weapon or spell is (ie. 2 squares with 8s in them would mean 2d8s, a +1 in a square would mean it does +1). - During deck management it would be nice if cards you don't meet the requirements for (weapons where you don't have the Weapons Power, or spells that require Arcane or Divine Skills to avoid Banishing) were outlined in red.

I made this post in the general discussion a while back and other people mentioned they were seeing the same thing. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/85858-charm-effect-ending-prematurely/ The charm effect from whisper of treason on my PC cipher keeps ending prematurely at seemingly random times, not depending on the number of enemies or if they are attacking or being attacked. Also from the latest update Whisper is now a fast cast but it takes noticeably longer than other fast casts from cipher or other casters. It is difficult for me to get the exact cast time but it is closer to an average cast when I have cipher and another class simultaneously cast a spell to check their times.
  18. Hi there, just wondering if anyone else is having this problem? It's only been happening since the most recent update, but essentially, everything that used to have the New, Load, Options menu and the little buttons down the bottom-right of the menu screen that opens when you open the game are just big pink blocks, as if the image for them is missing. Here's a link to an image I took (the printscreen on my keyboard is broken so sorry about the quality) Funny thing is, if I approximate where the buttons would be, I can still go into the Load, Options, etc. menus by clicking, but when I go in, the menu appears with all the text gone! Here's a link to an image of that (I think this is either the Load or Options menu). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  19. The Old Watcher quest will not update properly if certain dialogue choices are used. When you meet steward for the first time you will have three options: 1: "I'm looking for Maerwald." 2: "Who's that speaking." 3: "You know what I am?" Only first option give you XP and quest update in the journal.
  20. I am finding various descriptions of abilities reading 0%. I have noticed it in the cross-class expansion abilities as well as the 3.0 update. It seems to apply to the +percentage on level bonus(eg. +10% every 3 levels after 4). It is there on other scaling abilities as well, like Beloved Spirits.   21. My character keeps spawning in weird places on maps where she shouldn't be able to spawn, sometimes even in the black void beyond the realm of these maps. I initially encountered this in Magran's Fork where my character spawned in the trees and I couldn't move, though other actions were still permitted. As I'm an avid solo ironman player there's no save to go back to so the 2 times this happened to me - and I haven't been able to quit and reload the game, which fixes the issues, but only sometimes - I've had to restart from the beginning. Only today it's constantly happening, so I looked it up and found out someone else was having the same issue and they were told to verify integrity of game cache. I did this and it snatched my character from the middle of nowhere and plopped her down right where she's supposed to spawn... However, every time I load into a new area it keeps happening, over and over again. It's the same spots on the same maps every time and I can never move my character. Sometimes quitting fixes it, other times it simply doesn't. It's getting to the point where it's unplayable which is a real shame. I'm playing on steam, by the way.
  22. Hello, I just purchased the game a couple days back from the Apple store. I installed, booted up, created a character. The game begins with the beginning of the dialogue, but then it simply crashes and I cannot continue. What are the steps to resolve this? Thank you, Dale

Description: About 40hrs into a playthrough, after loading a save, all characters in the party are suddenly missing equipped items and items from inventory (unsure if stash is affected, but I don't believe so). Level 5 spells are missing from all characters also. Sagani (not in the party) is also now missing from the stronghold, and no longer appears in the list for stronghold missions. The Eternity team is currently hard at work on the second part of The White March, but that doesn't mean we don't have time for updates and fixes for Pillars of Eternity and the first part of The White March! In this backer update we will share some of the fixes that have gone into 2.02, show off some cool swag, and let you know about some novels by a couple Obsidianites. In future updates we will discuss some of the things we are doing for the second part of The White March. Update 2.02Not only does Update 2.02 introduce some important fixes for the game, but we have even added in GOG Galaxy achievement support for you achievement hunters. The update is currently live on Steam and will be live on Origin and GOG within a day or two. Check out some of the changes below: Major Fixes GOG Galaxy achievements now work. A party member using a movement speed modifying item now should walk at the same speed as the rest of the party outside of combat. Added more optimizations for save and load. Fixed an issue where some players were not able to talk to the Steward of Caed Nua to start The White March quest lines. Fixed issues with Respec not working correctly with some edge case abilities and talents. Fixed some problems that were being reported with self-targeting abilities (Like Frenzy). Fixed problems with chanters not being able to set their chants properly after they have retrained. Abilities All Summoned weapons are now considered universal weapon type. Fixed a number of issues with Nature's Bounty. Items Soulbound weapons are properly unbound when the bound soul dies. Fixed issue where weapon switching recovery could go negative. Ambush Item Mod should only drain 15% attack speed now. Shadowflame from Ninguath's Grimiore is now 4th level. Removed enchantment cost of the Cumbersome item mod. Lowered the enchantment cost for Spellstriking Confuse and Spellstriking Thrust of Tattered Veil. Quests Small Balance changes to the Alpine and Sky Dragon attacks. Fixed a number of issues with the Devil of Caroc's reactivity in the soul awakening quest. The Hunter's Favor should properly resolve if Thyrsc and Suldrun are killed before completion. Stronghold attacks can now happen if the player level is over 13. Caroc and Zahua now have a place in the stronghold. Alpine Dragon is now set to never gib. Vamrel's conversation will only fire once now. Miscellaneous Notes Quick items on the ability bar are now sorted by slot. Afflictions display like other status effects on the party bar. Fix a number of hotkey binding issues and bugs. Accuracy for Bestiary entries now account for stances and shields. Fixed a problem with Accuracy being reported incorrectly until the party enters combat. Hey, where'd you get that shirt?
