  1. It is larger than the inventory space, as though it was being manipulated by the cursor, but it is not. Here's an example of the problem while the item is equipped by a character. This is the item next to another hatchet, which does not have this problem. Also in the screenshot is a hammer and chisel, being moved by the cursor, in an attempt to demonstrate that Hearth Harvest is not currently being held by the cursor. Edit: This problem was not present in v1.02.
  2. Songsmith Roska is a bounty that should appear on the map Cliaban Rilag. But she appears only after finishing the quest Fragments of Scattered Faith from Eder and reentering Cliaban Rilag.   3. The npc Riply who should be in a room next to the locked door to north ward in Sanitarium is missing. Can't get into that room in any other way, can't progress. The statues does not talk to me anymore, and all dialogs with other NPCs in Sanitarium are exhausted. the game is just broken. It's a beta. You can ignore bugged side quests where the game does not notice that you actually did what you were suppose to do. I am not a tester, I wouldn't do anything else If I uploaded every single broken quest (The man who waits, At all Costs, Supply and Demand, and even another story quest Never far from the queen which I had to complete several times before the game noticed, to name just a few biggest ones). I am not going back 5 hours to trace where I made some game breaking decision.
  4. So I was playing on a fire godlike fighter account with a party of 4 (including me) and tried to kill readric. I soon found out, I can't kill him with all his guards, so I tried to leave the castle to buy gear and gather more people. However, each time I try to go outside of the castle, I get a loading screen and then my screen turns black and my cursor becomes the "cancel" icon (the red circle with the line through it). This happens when I leave from any area of the building that I have tried and therefore I am trapped inside it (found some pretty cool loot though...) I'll continue to try and kill readric, because maybe that'll help, but I still think this is an issue. I tried attaching the game files but it didn't work. The only thing I can post is the system specs: OS X Yosmite Version 10.10.2 MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB I'll report back if I manage to get through, but as of yet I can't. You guys made a great game, so keep up the good work!
  5. In 3rd act after kiling dragon in Hylea's temple I continued the "Hunter, Brother" quest. When i got to top of the waterfall i found body of giant skelgaer and engage smaller ones. After killing last one my party stuck in combat mode. I make shure that no enemy is near but I can do nothing to breack combat mode, also ther is no "s" and "d" button function. I cennot continue playing. Is ther some way to fix it or I need to wait for the patch?
  6. I kill him, had items on him but no head. I checked the stash quest inventory, no head I cant get reward for bounty also the missing sentries task is bugged. killed them all/cannot complete
  7. Hi I crash every signle time I try to travel to Gilded Vale after leaving the collapsed cage and traveling through the woods. Is this a common bug and will it be adressed in this weeks coming patch? I really(!!) want to play the game, but so far I can not progress past the second game location:( Thx in advance
  8. On both of my saves...I am on Act 3. I just get to Elmshore. I go back to my Stronghold to change out party members(because I never had a reason to change them back after taking Kana down into the Endless Paths). When I arrive...I open the party management pane. I try to change party members. I cannot do so. They get removed from my party window at the bottom left...but the actual characters stay selectable on the main window screen. I change out Kana....he appears with a diamond on his head at the center of the stronghold map. It does not matter the ones I try to change. I am actually stuck with my party members...which means I cannot complete companion quests that require them to be in my party. This is most likely related to the fact that if I were to go into Bright Hollow...I cannot zone into the second floor without having a black screen. I have a cursor like normal...but everything is black. Sometimes I hear character movement if I click somewhere, but I cannot even get a single window to pop up...not even pressing escape works. I have to Alt-Tab out and close down the game. My saves are effectively screwed until you can fix this. Im shut out of content and cannot enjoy the game in this state. Could someone please help me? I have over almost 60-70h invested so far. This is very disheartening.
  9. Basically what the title says. I'm running a nature godlike and I suddenly realised I was never sure if i saw my racial at work, its supposed to give some attributes bonuses when below 50% endurance. Anyway I looked at my char when i was with low endurance and didn't see any buff icon, or change in the stats in the char screen. Don't even see the racial listed anywhere in the char sheet.

According to the thread Wailing Banshee, I'm supposed to be able to speak to Niah after I've gotten the log book from the lighthouse in order to unlock dialogue options to resolve the quest without having to attack Lilith. However, in my game, Niah is no longer at the location where I first found her, at the square platform at the docks, just a short ways right from the lighthouse. The NPC is missing, and I can't find her anywhere along the docks in Ondrana's Gift.   11. I fought my way through till I found Nedmar, which he mentioned the passphrase and to use disguises. I equipped the priest robes on everyone and walked into the sanctuary room, and the Temple Guardian started a conversation which I used passphrase, but everyone else still attacked or they would follow me and just cast blessing all the time and won't stop. Did I do something wrong or is this another bug and I'm just better off wiping everyone out?

  13. Hello, I've got a strange bug on my Mac Book Pro Retina 13". When I talk to someone in the game, I can't read all the text. The window with the text is bigger than my screen and there is no way to reduce it. While testing some DoT stuff found this: Player is able to completely ignore recovery (reset attack timer / not hit end attack animation event / something) 1) Equip any weapon (tested with Rapier, Blunderbuss(very slow), Hunting Bow) 2) Attack Character 3) At time of damage or when projectile leaves weapon(ranged) pause game 4) Press I for inventory 5) Notice that pressing I "reset" characters animation (back to idle) 6) Press I again. 7) Character attacks immediately (no reload, no cooldown,...) EDIT: Pause is not required, you can attack and double-press Inventory at time of attack. Easy reproduction. Could post nice combat log screenshot showing me shooting Eder with Blunderbuss like 3 times in one second. If combatlog had timestamps.   15. I made a Nature Godlike / Barbarian to see how much of a monster I could make him with Frenzy + Wellspring of life. I don't know when it started happening, but Wellspring of life stopped activating. I have a feeling it either started with when I got Blooded (x1.2 damage when below 50% endurance) or Enhanced Frenzy (Frenzy now grants +6 might, +6 const 'may not be correct numbers') When I drop below 50% endurance, it will only activate Bloodied. I dont know if it's intentional to stop abuse of stupidly high stats, as I'd be getting ~25 Might ~20 Constitution ~22 Dexterity Bloodied x1.2 But rather, when I'm frenzied and below 50% health I only have 22 Might 18 Constitution 22 Dexterity Bloodied x1.2 damage Any idea why this is happening? I havent had enough time to make sure this happens every time I drop below half, but It seems to be happening without fail.
  16. The endless path's are closed and won't open. My stronghold is ampely decked out and I have tried different combinations of companions. Simply put, there is the stone in the way. I can access the map but not the second level since I never got there. Is there a console command that transports me to the second level, so that I can access it and then the other levels via the map? Maybe there is a console command that enables the second level via the map of the cellar door? Please help me, it really sucks no to get to play this part of the game.   18. I've been playing PoE in any little spare time I have, and I love it. However I experience a minor annoyance sometimes during dialogue where when I left click it registers as 2 clicks, resulting in skipped dialogue. I fear that it'll result in accidently choosing the wrong dialogue options at some point. I'm 100 % sure I'm not double clicking, and I don't have this issue in any other games/software. One of my friends has the same issue, but I haven't seen anyone else posting about it.
  19. My Stronghold was attacked by Drakes and some Xaurips, including a Priest. I'm not entirely sure what happened during the chaotic fight but afterwards, my hirelings were hostile to me, possibly because I hit them with a spell by accident or because something converted them. The problem is that now all hirelings are hostile forever, no matter what I do, except one who shouldn't even exist (I killed him during the fight, yet there he is inside the main hall). Dismissing and reaquiring hirelings doesn't help and some of them don't dissapear anyway: Any new people I hire are instantly and permanently hostile, attacking me on sight in my own stronghold. Saving and reloading doesn't help, resting doesn't help and changing location doesn't help (eg. to the nearby woods and back), so it appears this permanently breaks hirelings in my game. Thankfully, I'm the paranoid type in these games, so I have a save just before the fight where everything should be working and a save where all of them are hostile. System specs shouldn't really matter on this one, I wonder if someone out there is willing to attempt to replicate it (eg. fireball a hireling or something)?
  20. Dear Obsidian, Being a huge fan of titles like Baldur's Gate I took Path of the Damned difficulty simply so this wonderful experience would last as long as possible. I wanted to be forced to eat consumables and search for items that help with certain enemies and experience the game in it's full potential rather than just run through the game on normal without any serious challenge. The game still seemed too easy... Boring... There is only one initial playthrough of the game and now that I am close towards the end I realised mine is ruined. I did a quick bug search and sure enough my Eder is overpowered due to stacking bug and the game is too easy. I also experienced other bugs like the Raedric Castle problem. They way I see it yet again I was sold a car without a wheel. It is that simple. Yet another product in the gaming industry that is unfinished, rushed, clearly broken. If this would be any other industry we would never hear the end of it. Just imagine calling help line of some company saying "You sold me a coffee machine that gives tea" and hearing "This is a known issue". Do you know who buys these game right after the release or even pre order ? Your most dedicated fans. The new normal is to poke us in the eyes with a stick and turn us into slave testers.   21. The spell is grayed out and refuses to work. I tried resting, stripping him of his equipment, kicking him out the party and hiring him back, but so far nothing has worked for me. I'm afraid saving the game after the last fight has mad that condition permanent and the only other save game I've got is about 10 hours less than the recent one. That sucks big time! Is there any way to fix this?
  22. Hey! I think I encountered a gamebreaking Bug that prevents me from progressing further in the game. After graciously avoiding 20 other gamebreaking bugs (I don't know how I did it pure luck I suppose) this one finally got me. So when I entered level 13 in Od Nua there are those spirits you need to get the password from to open the door, so I am clearing the area and after killing the last pack (Pack in the adra shell room) suddenly all spirits aggro me. Ok the problem here now is 1st I cannot get the password 2nd the Spirits are invicible and untargetable but they wreck my party. So then i thought maybe I load my auto save and reload the area by going up and down. Unfortunately the game won't let me because surprise, the raedrics castle bug reappeared and after the load to level 12 the game crashes. So bad luck for me have to start anew after 40 hours, to be honest this game feels more like a beta than a release. In general I like the game it but the combat-gameplay (I only say pathfinding) and the gamebreaking bugs make it more a hurdle race than an enjoyable expierience. Just to add another thing that happened just minutes before, the Spider Guy who gives the quest to collect the stuff in lvl 13 (Adra items) he talks to me and gives me the quest but immediately goes aggro and starts attacking me so I had to kill him and of course the quest failed. This is just one of many "annoyance" bugs I encountered until there so please fix all the stuff so I won't get stuck on the next playthrough which I have to start after the "Day 1 Patch" finally comes out.   23. Description: While in the Dyrford Ruins, I accidentally triggered two traps -- once (stupidly) while in stealth, and once out of stealth. Combat started, one of my characters died, and I got a NameError in the message log in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. This really isn't a big deal, but it might be worth looking into. Steps to Reproduce: I can't verify that this works consistently for the two traps in question, because I wasn't able to load a save file where I had not triggered them. When I triggered the traps (the first by opening the container not in stealth mode, and the second by walking over the trap in stealth mode), I saw the NameErrors. Important Files: Unfortunately, I might have screwed up and run the game again, overwriting output_log.txt. I don't know if the NameErrors are in the attached file or not.
