  1. I have been playing Deadfire since launch on the "Veteran" difficulty setting and have loved it so far, I'm hundreds of hours into the game and have collected tons of unique items and loot. Yesterday I decided to increase the difficulty setting to "Path of the Damned", and I'm enjoying the increased difficulty now that my characters are level 20. But a few hours of playtime after I increased the difficulty to Path of the Damned, I noticed that ALL ITEMS in my inventory had their monetary value decrease approximately 98% or more. An item worth 3,000 CP yesterday is now worth around 50 cp today. Also, I've completed new battles against Naga and other enemies, and I used to be able to sell fine, extraordinary, superb loot/gear/weapons etc... and make a couple thousand CP after a large battle, but now I can only sell loot for 2% of its former value. Is this part of the Path of the Damned difficulty setting? If not, then there must be some sort of bug. I have NO MODS enabled that alter the price/value of loot, weapons, or gear in any way. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  2. I have GOG version of the game and yesterday before patch 3.0 all was well. Today the game was patched and now I cannot load any saves, because it says "Missing DLC" (See attached image). Makes me a bit frustrated as my last save is at the beginning of the end game. I do not have the Beast of Winter and Slayer, seeker, survivor DLCs, but I do have the free ones and the backer one. Also main screen loading now takes considerably longer and clicking on any option in the menu (like load or options) also takes a lot of time.   3. After installing the latest update, I entered Mariki's Metalworks in Periki's Outlook. Once there, the character Izzia began a conversation with me that I was unable to finish, because I had no conversation options available. e: This is almost immediately after installing the update, I have done nothing else with the SSS update besides walking from Arkemyr's mansion to Mariki's. https://imgur.com/a/g5zzAVl
  4. I have this currently happening in the Hole inn, but also in the Luminous Bathhouse; switching out a party member makes them disappear. Their icon is still indicating they're somewhere outside, but it's impossible to leave the area with the 'you must gather your aprty before venturing forth' message, effectively leaving you stuck
  5. I'm having trouble obtaining the new chest piece you get from completing the skeleton endurance trial in Seeker,Slayer,Survivor. I complete the challenge only for combat to not end and the item to not appear in my inventory once I transition back from the area. I will include my save file and a link to a video with the problem in action. Any and all help would be appreciated!
  6. Hello) When I click the craft button in the inventory the enchanting menu is shown instead of the crafting one. Is that a bug, or that's how it intend to be now? How do you craft items?
  7. The bug happens when you try to sail to merchant boat as a scripted NPC intercepts you. In the very start of the game when you leave the first island (Port Maje) you are intercepted by a Pirate. I saw a merchant vessel and thought i would just kill then real quick first, but my boat was a little to slow so the pirate boat got to me first. Every thing loaded and the scripted interaction was about to begin when a dialog box comes up asking if i want to 1 "show me what you have for sale." 2 [Attack] 3 [Leave.].

  9. After the latest patch, I've ran into a couple things that I suspect could be bugs. 1. Whenever I change my party members inside an inn (tested both at The Wild Mare & Harbinger's Watch), some of them would spawn outside of the map, in the black, empty part. I can select them by clicking on their portraits, but they cannot move. As such, I'm unable to leave the inn since I can't "gather my party before venturing forth." The only way that I can leave is by dismissing those companions. I can change companions normally on my ship, but it's a pain to have to travel back to the ship every time I want to change my party composition. 2. This might not be a bug per se, but I've noticed that if I equip a companion with trinkets that I've obtained from BoW that are also classified as "Quest Items," these trinkets would be automatically unequipped & returned to the party stash whenever I dismiss that companion from the party. Trinkets that are not classified as Quest Items are unaffected by this behavior. I hope you could look into these!
  10. Patch 2.1 did not fix the FPS degradation and memory leak. It's still as bad for me. Below 40 fps and over 3GB ram usage after just 2 hours. No matter which character I use, if I try to scry (using the scry spell or a revelation quill), after selecting the location (the only location available, the Runewell), the game gets to a locked state where I can do nothing to progress...That is, instead of showing me the deck, it doesn't do anything...I can't cancel the action, I can't end my turn...I can still interact with some things (like viewing my hand and discard pile), but I can't do anything meaningful but quit out of the game.

  13. Have made a thread for this as it's now confirmed to occur for more than just myself - it appears as though companion relationships are bugged in the beta patch. More specifically my PCs no longer get hit on automatically by either Tekehu or Maia Rua upon reaching level 1 or 2 - including Maia acknowledging any other relationships. I can however follow the Aloth track (oddly even if I just state we were only friends in his initial friendship talk). I'm not sure if the game is locking my PC into the Aloth track automatically, or the initial dialogues for others aren't firing for some reason, though it appears to be the former. I noticed when I was testing my Aloth disposition mod, but it still occurs on a clean new playthrough.
  14. Hello, I explored a little before going to Neketaka. I ended up completing the 'He Waits in Fire' quest (a bridge was destroyed behind me, so I didn't have much choice but to continue). I was then transported back to the Palace. This was my first experience of Neketaka, so I didn't want to risk progressing the critical path any further without having the chance to explore and do some of the other content. The problems I have are as follows: • The Queen is now nowhere to be found (including on the Palace roof, night or day). I only get the Prince in the throne room. • For the Huana I have completed Trade Secrets and The Last Sanctuary, but now 'have no leads'. Possibly related to the above. • For the RDC, I'm told that the Hazanui is at the Palace meeting the Queen. But possibly because she is missing, he is too. So I can't make any progress with 'A Matter of Import'. • I can't find the NPC Maia. I think she is in the Brass Citadel behind the doors to the 'throne room', but that is guarded and I can't enter it without turning everyone hostile. Thanks very much in advance for your help.
  15. Hi, I just went to the Sandswept Ruins (southwest island of the world map) and entered the room with the altar that's sourrounded by flames. Because I'm wearing Rekvu's Scorched Cloak plus an injury (which turns all burn damage into healing and makes you basically immune) I thought I'd try and just step on the flames. I injured although I received 0 damage. I suspect that all traps will show that behaviour: causing injuries even though they can't deal any damage?
  16. Hi all! Several days before I've encountered a new problem in PoE 2: I can't save the game anymore via Main menu -> Save game. The menu is displayed, I have a Save button, but when I pressing it nothing happens. I have searched this forum a bit, and did not found the issue like that. All my prevoius save games are present in the list, and I'm still ableto save game via hot keys for Quick Save - this is how I'm continuing to play. But today I decided that the issue is really annoying, so here I am. I have the last Steam version with pre-order bonus and gaun's pledge additional content, no mods, most of the steam cloud space for this game is free, the space on HDD-s is also OK.
  17. So I got the most recent patch and this is what happened, My watcher character, every single fight, has a brand new weapon equipped (of equivalent quality). It's completely random--sometimes 2h, sometimes 1h, sometimes a ranged weapon. The character will use that weapon the entire fight, and as soon as the fight ends, my normal weapons return to the slot. These new weapons I get, are NOT weapons I own nor are they in my inventory. Additionally, I can't change the weapons during combat at all. It's really bizarre. Any help? Thanks!

Hello, Ever since the release of the game, you had updated the scripting to add different conditionals and outputs, such as allowing us to turn on modals and other capabilities not originally present in release. However, we are still missing a critical condition that would be extremely helpful for managing ciphers. Can we PLEASE get a conditional for the ascendant self buff? The ideal is, for Ciphers, to allow the AI to define that spells will only be cast if the ascendant buff is active.
  19. Okay. After the fight in the sanatorium, I still have the "Subdue Uscgrim" in the quest journal. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong? I've gone upstairs, and cannot find the one "patient" that ran away. Was this Uscgrim? And if so, how do I find him again?

  22. Hi, So I´ve collected the booze and food for the party but then I thought that it would be nice to try and fight Benweth in a direct confrontation instead. First time we wiped but then I tried to pull Benweth and his fighters into the room to the left. It worked fine and all guards are dead. But Benweth is not! He is gone......!!! I probably was stealthy when the fighting started. Now, my only available save game (for this) will make me loose about two hours of choices and playtime so I need to find out if I am able to trigger Benweth back into the story - or if I could continue without finishing this quest? I have tried to get that party started with the stew but Benweth is nowhere to be seen. I’ve read some forums and as I understood them this bug should have been removed long ago! If nothing else - is there a possible way to edit save game file to be able to continue? Regards Mem

I did already reported this bug some time ago, but now I noticed that it happens specifically whenever two weapons of the same type are dual wielded (two pistols, two swords, two blunderbusses, etc.) and the character is proficient in both the types of weapon slotted. The modal ability of said weapon stays active in the character panel after switching set or unequipping weapon.   24. Since I last started the game, the area of effect templates when placing spells have completely disappeared. This is quite bad for gameplay, since I don't know which targets I'm hitting. Is this a known bug? What can I do? Or is their something in the settings that causes this? (can't remember I changed anything, though) I use the game with GOG Galaxy, so all updates should be there and I even repaired the installation but nothing changed. Please help!
