  1. So i am having a weird graphical issue. i don't know if anyone else has. As i move along the world as my character bobs slightly up and down as they run or walk..so do the clouds and the sky. this is rather concerning to move around in. seeing the sky move relative to me rather then the enviroment. anything in settings i can do to help with this? UPDATE: Weirdly i noticed. isky only moves along as you walk, not when you sprint.

Hello all, I recently started playing, however I quickly noticed that in game textures take a while for them to load (like when I look at a pile of rubble I can see what it is, however the detailed texture will slowly load over time) and this has affected dialog in the game. As it seems that dialog does not begin until the character fully loads, so my screen is stuck looking at an individual for a bit before they begin to speak (the characters still have movement, but they are blurry). For example, I was talking to the Vicar in the beginning town and it took 4 minutes before he even began to talk (the game did not show dialog captions either). I also noticed that the music cuts in and out all the time, so I turned it off. Is this happening to anyone else? I am already turned down my settings and current I am running the game on High. Here is my current PC set up CPU= Intel Core i5-4590 3.30GHz Motherboard= ASRock H97M Pro4 Memory= Says I have 24gb installed Video Card= NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Power Supply= XFX XTR 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
  3. PC via Xbox (Beta) app. Game crashes in the middle of Fallbrook. I suspect it is because I never introduced myself to Catherine Malin even though I progressed passed stage one in the quest "Errors Unseen," which expects you to talk to her (I did so by stealing her access card from her and using her computer without her noticing, and never speaking to her.) Please let me know if you would like logs or a video of the bug. EDIT: and just like that, with no changes at all and despite happening 5 times in a row, the bug has stopped.
  4. The lighting in the character creator is too dark and is making all of the hair options look like variations of black. I've seen other forums of users complaining about lack of variety in hair color, but I think the problem is lighting, not variety. I created a guy with dark grey hair and in-game his hair is almost white. For context, the lighting on the skin is fine. For some reason the hair is just super dark in the creator. Please fix the lighting in the character creator to more accurately reflect it's true color in-game.
  5. As the title says, this is a visual bug that keeps changing all terrain textures a short distance in front of me. It may look like 2 hills with 2 different colors (grey in the back and brown at the front) but it's actually 1 hill that changes color half way through because of this bug. https://imgur.com/a/DHlZ3Oj I've tried changing all menu settings but nothing works. Someone on reddit mentioned it's probably a draw ditance/lod issue but had no idea how to fix it. I was able to tolerate it for the first 10-15 mins of the game 'cause it wasn't too open, but as soon as I tried to explore the larger area, it became intolerable because it does this on all terrain and even the buildings depending on which side I'm coming from. It doesn't happen in the town as bad because the distance in front of me isn't that much. I have a rx580 8gb (with latest drivers installed), i7 3770k and 16gb of ram. I'm not that good with computers but I'm happy to provide whatever other information you need. Thanks for any help you can give me because I was really getting into the story, and the visuals without this bug are amazing, but this bug made it feel like I was playing an early access game.
  6. My game is crashing my computer every 3 minutes. Forcing a full system freeze and restart. Xbox game pass for pc pc specs: Core i7 4790k 32gb Ram RTX 2070 64 bit all drivers and windows system is up to date! help!!!
  7. Bug : Minor When the main character ask this question to Fleet Master Okaya at Sayuka, her answers are looped and not arrange properly. The question is "Why are you here in particular?"
  8. Go to Fort Dunnage. Enter the King's Coffin and talk with NPC Elias Zelen. He will tell you about his story. The options provided for a player is 1) respond something and 2) [Listen]. If you just choose [Listen], you will notice that his story jumps here and there. Some of dialogue that should be there is skipped. This kind of work is sloppy. If you just do not want a player to click on "unfinished" option, please just make sure that only one option available. There is no need to put more option if you do not work on it properly.

Category : Minor, should be easily fixed After recruiting Serafen, the main character travels to Fort Deadlight without talking to Serafen at all, and reachs for the Forge before going to the Court. Serafen will suddenly talks about Syri out of nowhere. I believe such dialogue should be brought up by Serafen at the Court only, not any other place else, because Syri is at the Court. The right sequence should be : 1. Recruit Serafen 2. *** Talk to Serafen about how to infiltrate the Fort Deadlight. This step should be mandatory for the smooth story run, but currently it is not. *** 3. Infiltrate the Fort Deadlight. 4. Going to any place in Fort Deadlight should not trigger Serafen to talk about Syri. 5. When the main character visit the Court -- where Syri stays, Serafen gives a warning about Syri to the Watcher. I wish that I do not need to attach the save file. I have rerolled new character like more than 10 times and this happens every time. Testers should not find it hard to reproduce this bug.
  10. Several persistent bugs, happen to every character as far as I can remember. These are the most recent instances. General Info - Steam, merged from original Android account (played on the same computer using android emulator) - Win 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit - PC is custom. - PFID# FAEFDABE617FAD2E Gameplay - Pass & play on/permadeath are OFF - Campaign - Characters in Party: Lem and Lini (original characters) - Turn Order Lem, Lini (those bugs happen regardless of turn order) - Difficulty is Legendary - None of the issues have to do with Hordes and happen regardless if first exploration or not Issue#1 When playing the last scenario (Into the Eye), the Revelation Quill, the Eagle and Scrying are unplayable. This is the most disturbing bug of all, and has persisted throughout the years, even after merging my main account with Steam. I know it has been reported before, but it's still there. Issue#2 Another persistent issue with my game is Rimeskull. Whenever a location is closed, only the character who closed it moves to another location. Other characters are trapped, and are forced to lose a turn before moving out in subsequent turns. Also, characters cannot move into previously closed locations, unless I quit the game altogether, and rerun it Issue#3 Another persistent issue is in Assault on the Pinnacle. When choosing loot after I defeat a bane, the "buttons" are always misaligned. In my last game I tried to click 6 spells, but I got 4 weapons and 2 spells instead. Issue#4 The black tower. Another persistent one. Harpy monks do not allow my characters to use powers, either before they act or during the combat check. (Thankfully, after playing in steam, Harpy monks' cards do not remain there, blocking my view of my next encounters, as before) Issue#5 The last major persistent bug is a more general one. When playing cards like the Corrosive Storm or Blizzard BEFORE the exploration, and during the encounter the character who played them is FORCED to make a check, those cards are always returning to his hand, as if they were never played. This diminishes they usefulness, as they often cannot be played at all, if the character plays another card of the same type. Issue#6 Into the Eye (again): I noticed that only one Henchman per character was shuffled into the location deck, despite that I played in Legendary difficulty.   11. Hi, i just wanted to purchase Valeros for 5,49.- , something wetn wrong, and when i tried it again, the game says i already purchased this item, i will be implemented freely". The the Store popup says "Please wait while we attempt to purchase Armored Valeros".... like forever. Help
  12. Im playing "Pillars Of Eternity" on Xbox one and after scouting the Endless Paths of Od Nua level 12,i found some Diamonds that got transferred to my stash. But when i went trought both my inventory and stash they are gone!? Now i dont remember if i have picked up any gems before this but i know i picked up more than 1 Diamond and it is nowhere to be found (i currently have no Gems in my inventory) and im at a complete loss for what to do. I tried accessing another save but no luck. Is there another storage option aside from the party characters inventory or the 100-items Stash storage i dont know about or is this a bug?
  13. Just purchased the game on Nintendo Switch. Main character is Druid with Stag Spiritshift. The Spiritshift ability was working fine for several hours, but now isn't working under any condition. I can't select it manually in the radial menu - the option is there but it simply won't activate. Also, with Spiritshift AI enabled, the character still won't switch when engaged. This is happening through many encounters, different save files, multiple locations. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
  14. Apologies if this is the wrong forum, i posted this to the steam community discussions and was told to come here. There's a quest in Gilded Vale called Against the Grain. It's listed under the tasks section in the journal. I talked to Trumbel and convinced him to lower the grain prices, then went to Sweynur to report such. While in the conversation with Sweynur, i saw that i had a diplomatic dialogue choice asking him to let up on Trumbel. I took it, thinking i could get a sort of "everyone ends up working together" sort of thing going for the end of this quest. Turns out though, if you choose that dialogue option, Sweynur tells you to go back to Trumbel and tell him that they'll lay off him, but you can't do that. You can't tell Trumbel anything, as he just gives the ordinary "This won't last." floating text. You also cannot talk to Sweynur after this, as he just continues to tell you to go speak to Trumbel, effectively making the quest incompletable.
  15. Its hard to explain but sometimes when i close journal then it has problems making my characteres move or sometimes when i write it actually fires the hotkey instead of the letter i write ... uhm ... so yeah something is wrong, buggy !
  16. Greetings, I would like to report this bug and hope for a fix asap. I was following a guide by Emeus (https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/76280-finished-triple-crown-solo-as-cipher/) to get triple crown solo achievement. In the Final battle vs Thaos and the 2 guys I managed to fight only Thaos and the top guy, Woedica's Judge. Woedica's Headsman was in the Fog of War all the time, out of combat. So after I defeated those 2, I sudenly became out of combat. I thought of this as an opportuntiy so I saved my game. After that I went to kill the Headsman, in the middle was the soul of Thaos, but no body, it somehow got bugged out and dissapeared I guess. After I killed the headsman, my character got bugged. Entire interface got frozen. I couldn't move, nor use any skills. The game itself is running, I can see these lighting animations and my character swinging weapons for example. Looks like there is some trigger failure for the final cutscene? I was thinking about quitting my game after the bug occured so the ironman save would be overwritten and maybe after restarting the issue would resolve on its own, but I am afraid that this might ruin the entire run for me. Can anyone advise if I can swap save games in ironman mode? I mean I make a backup of the save before fighting the headsman, and quit the game after the fight so it will be automatically overwritten and if it doesnt fix the problem after restarting can I swap it back to the save before the mentioned fight? Any other sugestions are pretty welcome, I want those achievements!   17. Dear Obsidian, I'm playing addon Beast of Winter on my Mac and got a crash when fight with Soul Collector (when he beat my character). Even if I kill him without touching me next Soul Collector wil touch and game crash.   19. I'm playing an Ascendent/Assassin mindstalker, and I'm noticing that when I make my first attack from stealth (to initiate combat), sometimes I gain focus, and other times I don't. The weapon seems to make a difference (I have never received focus from the initial sneak attack with an arquebus, and most of the time it works with a warbow, but not always). Is this a bug? What am I missing?
  20. The initial text when staring a new game is skipped without the player doing anything. Only the first phrase is narrated, then it is skipped. Tested in english and it is normal, it seems to happen on ly and portuguese.
  21. Hopefully there are helpful people still reading this forum and there's a known fix for this. I am trying to complete Act 2, but I cannot get an invitation to attend the Animancy Hearing. I've read a variety of possible bad scenarios, but here's my specific one... Save file was too big to put on this site, but the other files are attached here. All files can be found on Dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lhqgwd8bt48hkz0/Pillars%20of%20Eternity%20files.zip?dl=0 I'd prefer not to have to "burn bridges" to get around this if at all possible (if that would even work). Commander Clive is not giving me a dialog option to ask for an invitation to the Animancy Hearings. No one else is giving me an invitation either. - I have Champion reputation with House Doemenel (HD) and Knights of the Crucible (KC), Hero with Defiance Bay, and Eccentric with The Dozen (TD). - For HD, I completed A Two Story Job, but did not pick up The Changing of the Guard. - For TD, I completed Rogue Knight, but did not pick up The Bronze Beneath the Lake. - I aligned with KC by completing Built to Last and Winds of Steel. If it matters, Aranroed survived our encounter with TD at Anslog's Compass and left afterwards as far as I know. I killed all the forge knights, and I told Clive to keep working on them. - For The Hermit of Hadret House, my current journal entry states: --- "Lady Webb has asked me to keep her informed... --- I told Lady Webb about the Leaden Key's work in Heritage Hill. --- After running across Thaos in Brackenbury Sanitarium, ..." Commander Clive currently says: He smiles warmly. "What may I do for you?" And I can reply with: - "You're in charge of the Crucible Knights?" - "Tell me about the Knights of the Crucible." Lady Webb currently says: "How fares your search?" And I can reply with: - "There is something I can tell you about Leaden Key's operation." > "Nevermind" (I already told her about Heritage Hill and Brackenbury Sanitarium.) - Three questions about Thaos. - A question about Leaden Key. - "I have other questions." > 5 more questions
  22. I have reached a point in the game where I cannot play anything new without purchases, but the in App Store doesn’t open. When I click the button, nothing happens. I am playing on an IPhone XS that has iOS 12.3.1.
  23. Hello, From what seems to be random times my monk will, when using Whispers of the Wind, only target himself. It is not due to any reflection skill as I have tested on mages with reflection active. I have some pictures for various encounters attached. I have 2 on hit items attached to monk Falcon, Ajamuut's stalking cloak and mask of grotto deep. This only happens a small percentage of time but is usually autodeath.
  24. When I went into the Luminos Bathhouse to do this quest, I got distracted and talked to the attendant to use the bathhouse. There was some sort of bug that kept returning me to his dialogue box. When I stopped talking to him my party was in bathing suits. I then went upstairs to initiate the quest, did all the talking and pickpocketing, then exited the bathhouse. The only items that were returned to me were my inactive weapon slots and quick items. Active weapons and worn items were all gone. Lost a lot of gear and my last hard save was over six hours of gameplay ago. Would love to have this fixed if possible. Can't attach saves as they are over 5MB..

This really weird bug happened to me: I'm currently in act 3, and after a few loading screens I started noticing my watcher was getting smaller and smaller, It is now the same size as a party pet, Grog for example is sightly smaller than what my watcher currently is. I have no idea if some mod tweaked the game files and changed the size of my watcher but I had no issues till now with mods. Is there some value I can change in Notepad to revert him back to normal? Note that other characters seem normally sized.
