been having the same problem on my PS3 since day one. Lots of people are. On all platforms. Supposed to be patched. No word when. This sucks big time. Obsidian, WAKE UP and FIX THIS!So i got this game yesterday and well its amazing, BUT I am stuck at the part where i need to clench the sphincter. I can not do it , far i have gone is half the bar. This is a dissapoinent because it seems i won't get to go past this part;( . Anyone got tips or a way around this please thanks.

agree. This is taking way too long to get fixed.Yep, as a PS3 player myself I can attest that the button mashing sequence it unnecessarily f****** difficult. It took me something like half an hour to get past it the first time and over 10 minutes the second time. Heading into my fifth playthrough I hate the thought that I'll have to deal with that sequence again.

Totally agree. Fix is taking way too long.I'm glad to find out that there are plans to fix this, but I hope you guys can make it your number one priority. I can understand and forgive actual bugs, but this is just an all-around terrible mechanic that should never have made it into the final game, especially not in an unskippable scene. If I hadn't bought the game on Steam, I would have returned it after my first half hour of attempting this. Making macros and/or buying a controller shouldn't be required just to complete a PC game.
Sorry if this comes off as harsh or whiny, but I just figured I should throw in my support for this topic, and try to keep it bumped up near the top.

totally agree!Any update on when this is going to be patched? I hate buying a $60 Xbox game and not being able to play it! With my luck, by the time it is patched the game will cost $30.

They need to fix the Anal Probing part for the PC I'm literally stuck I can get past the first one but the black one is impossible.
It's happening across all platforms. Please, enough already! Fix the damn thing.

Can't get past the second anal probe in Alien Abduction. Mashing the X button on my PS3 forever. Please fix this. It seems to be happening on all platforms.

This has been a huge problem for lots of people since this games launch. On all platforms. Obsidian's response has been : We know about it. We feel your pain. We've got your money. Wait for the patch. Bloody rubbish!
