i agree with rhl we need alot but huge worlds adn like 15 20 planets
15-20 planets???!! That would go over 3 discs and you would never finish the game. Think about it.
15-20 planets out of what, billions in the Star Wars universe? And yes, it'd take long but when you beat it... you'd accomplish something. And maybe take out the dark/lightside ending so as to cut down the length. Just an idea. 10 planets would be badass.

The sad fact is, it would have maybe taken a month to crush all the bugs in KOTOR2 for the PC version. I honestly wonder why after 3 months, and 3 months of knowing of all of KOTOR2 XBox's problems that Obsidian didn't fix it. It's pretty inexcusable. But hey, what can you do, they wasted those 3 months, and we're paying for it. Literally.

There's a summoner 2? I didn't think there would be since Summoner 1 was a subpar game that was released at PS2's launch, even though it was for PC first, and it suffered. ...............Now, there's a summoner 2? When'd that come out? Thank god it got pushed under the rug.

I think this is all a joke because anyone who can get that far into the game and not know what they're supposed to do must have real luck randomly clicking dialogues.

Dxun was gorgeous, fun to explore... Everything else was alright.
But I thought they were gonna bring Manaan back, I heard somewhere they were... I wanted to kill those ugly fish people Selkath. They sucked. And had the gayest voices. Stinky slimey fishnerds.
The next KOTOR needs like 15 planets... and not with gayass Xbox style corridors, I mean, huge free roaming stuff. Morrowind style!

Jedi Watchman kicks major ass though, I went from Sentinel to Watchman and I'm pretty godlike.
Sorry to break this to you, but that has nothing to do with the class you chose.
I meant I'm godlike compared to how I would be if I was a Jedi Master or a Weapons Master... the watchman is a good class... although it seems like Prestige classes don't get too many perks. They need to make more stuff for them, make it REALLY different... and make the game harder. KOTOR2 is a bit on the easy side.

I've heard the Jedi Master prestige class is broken, as it doesn't get the defense bonuses it's supposed to, making it worse than a consular. And Jedi Weapons Master is alright...

The looping dialogue with the NPCs ruins it for me too. Sure, I'm still gonna beat it, and beat it again on the dark side but I feel a bit deprived. I wish all that looping dialogue with the NPCs was fixed as it's pretty gay for Mira and Handmaiden to ask me to train them... even though they're already become Jedi. Hopefully Obsidian releases a huge patch soon that fixes all the dialogue, broken quests, looping NPC BS, and all the tech bugs in one go. And then they push out patches after that to fix anything left over.
Help Us Obi-Sidian Kenobi, you are our only hope.

Power attack (and its higher forms) sucks anyways, Master Flurry and Master Critical Strike are alot better. Master Flurry hits good, too. Good for killing an enemy in 1 attack.

I still don't see the bug part, but I do agree with the rush part. The sad thing is, Lucas himself would constantly whine at his producers for rushing Star Wars! Now, when he's in the money man position he does the same thing he STILL crys about being done to him. Someone needs to put a vibroblade in through his skull.
Yes, god knows George Lucas runs all of his different companies by himself. I mean, of course he manages LucasFilm, LucasArts, Skywalker Sound, and the many others all by himself. Perhaps you have failed to realize that Lucas has hired people to manage these different companies, and trusts their judgement of whether a product is 'ready to be released'. But oh no, of course not. George Lucas purposely pushed this out the door for money. Blame LucasArts, not the man himself. I wonder if he even knows.

I remember someone on these forums suggesting Rockstar should publish KOTOR3... and let's say Rockstar North developed it. This would rock. My friend and I discussed how this would play out and had some fun.
Darth Ryder...Rydero, yes. Darth Rydero and Darth Biggis Smokith are out killing off all the Jedi. Then your character, Carlin Jonsin, has to stop them, whether being dark or light side.
Dialogue would be along the lines of 'Yo Jeedi, 'sup with ya tude?'
'Feel Da Force, homies, let it flow through ya ass'
'Letz do a train on that chick's loading ramp'
Enjoy Jedi/Sith gang wars, fight for turf or even planets!
Instead of flourishing your weapons/lightsaber, it'd go in slow motion, showing your weapons (doing a close up to check the 'bling'), then it'd go to your armor, then to your teeth (you can get awesome kortosis or crystal teeth mods).
If you're running low on health, you can pick up twi'lek hookers (Abundant at night everywhere in a city).
Stealing ships is no problem for your character, coordinate mass 'drivebys' with your 'saber wielding homies using swoopbikes or even fightercraft.
The better you dress, the more you impress the ladies, and the more you break the rule of 'No nookie for Jedi'.
Get some funky mad crystals for your 'saber, including red/blue swirled, and orange/white zigzag.
Pimp out your ship with more laser turrets, hydralics (you can jump up and down on your landing gear) or even some hyperdrive upgrades. I don't think ships have nitro.
Rock out to several music stations including: Cantina bith music, or 'rap' bands like SWA (Sithz With Attitude), Jolee Simpson, D20, Ol' Dirty Wookie, and much more!
....I'm all outta ideas and I gotta go. I'll post more later.

Anyone else think Obsidian was watching way too much of the Star Wars movies and totally just made Kreia the female Palpatine? *SPOILERS*
She's a 'betrayer'. Palpatine was a 'betrayer' too.
She has a voice like Palpatine's.
She's old. And hella ugly. And looks like she got ran over by a big cement truck and then dragged 400 miles.
Ditto with palpatine.
Their 'apprentices' are 'evil' (think Revan, he was bad, and he was her apprentice. The Exile is her apprentice too) if you take the dark side...
Same with palpatine. Dooku, Darth Maul, Vader......
Her force lightning is amazingly devastating. Palpatine's kicked Luke Skywalker's ass, so ditto on that too.
She talks major crap sometimes. Palpatine talked crap too.
Maybe I'll add more later... Bedtime!

........This whole thread just blew my mind. Horny bastards. I gotta admit though, charging up loading ramps does sound very appealing. By the way, there is no Baldur's Gate III, you mean Throne of Bhaal? That's the end of the Baldur's Gate series... so technically it's Baldur's Gate 2.7. Or something like that. Baldur's Gate series is probably the best CRPG series ever.

Try releasing a patch for the thousands of people who bought your game for $50 each. 90% of your users can't even play KOTOR2 WITHOUT BUGS of some sort ruining the atmosphere or forcing them to reload to get past parts... give us the support we deserve, or we probably won't be buying anymore obsidian games. Shame on you, this is the Black Isle that made the beautiful Planescape: Torment and Baldur's Gate games with Bioware?

That's the thing, I mean, I don't think it was my workbench but... see, I only got the other 2 (short and double bladed lightsabers) from quests! I think I'm going to use that mod to construct lightsabers, however. Also, when I was choosing my lightsaber color (when telling Atton about my saber), I said silver, and when it showed up it was! Are there silver crystals in the game?

In KOTOR1, by the end of the game, I had roughly 20+ lightsabers... I'm on Dantooine now, after beating Nar Shadda, Dxun and Onderon, yet I only have 3 lightsabers, the lightsaber I built, a double bladed, and a short one. My question is, where the hell are all of them? I thought I'd have enough lightsabers by now to start a little "lightsaber 4 cheap" shop, but I've barely got any? Is there someone who sells more? Oh, and by the way, can you turn Atton or Mandalore into Jedi?

Hey everyone, I just went to Dxun and Kreia is asking me what I want to be, Jedi Watchman, Jedi Master, or Jedi Weapons Master... and I can't decide! I'm a Jedi Sentinel right now, can anyone tell me which prestige class they think (in their own opinion/experience) is best? Also, it says a Jedi Master can train others in the force... does that mean I have to be a Jedi Master to turn Mira and Handmaiden into Jedi? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Can you turn Atton and Bao-Dur into Jedi too? That'd be awesome! Also, I've got 9 characters right now, is Hanharr the 10th? Or is there more? If it's gonna spoil it don't tell me! :D

Does anyone else have the bug where (On Nar Shadda) after Mira gets knocked out, and you talk to Jedi Master Ell, that when you try to go into the Jekk Jekk bar or whatever, the thugs are gone and the door won't open? Is this part of the game? If so, where do you go to get 'underneath the jekk jekk bar'"?

Right now I'm on Nar Shadda, going to help the Jedi Council Member there after Mira gets knocked out by Visquis... and for some reason I can't go into the alien bar. Very weird... I'm light side and my computer specs are
And when I say I can't go in, I literally can't, there's no ''door' option, it's like one of those nonselectable doors. I'll try reloading my game and seeing if I maybe broke it somehow... sad that it's broken so easily.

I've got a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS and KOTOR1 and 2, when any level of EAX is enabled (1, 2, or 3) the sound effects work but the music is disabled. Anyone know what's going on? I have the latest drivers for the Audigy 2 ZS, of course. Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?
