Any news on when a preload will be available if at all ?, I have pretty crappy net at the moment, and I am worried that it will take a very long time to download.

Noticed that the elves both Pale and Wood Elf Female models have red blotches all over their faces. Is this intended? Don't remember seeing that in previous betas.

I decided to have two rangers in one party, the first rangers companion had the correct name while the second ranger companion was simply labeled "bear companion"

Class description is a single weapon Proficiency for the whole game, when creating character I am able to select multiple weapon proficiency skills and even gain them when leveling. Which is against the character description of only one proficiency -

Well looking at the steam Achievement stays only 6% of total owners of pillars on steam have the kickstarter achievement, that is pretty good

So, say I get Eder and then five other custom heroes (since it is possible via stream-knowledge to get an entire custom party at the beginning). Then I come across Aloth. What happens? I've yet to unlock the Stronghold. Can I just not get Aloth until I can store party members?

Preload helps people who have data caps, people who have ****ty internet, and for people who might be taking a trip and will have limited data usage (ie just authenticating credentials) but yes. It's easy to say "preloading doesn't effect me so who cares" because it does effect others.

Yep, I'm lucky that in my town in Australia I have NBN (fibre), but many in our country do not, and never will, the top speed for some is less than 1 mb, so they could take days to download, never mind any country with it worse off. Hope to preload still

Yeh, the only thing they offer is a sales platform, sadly for some games no steam means the game dies. Especially for indies.

Like most people have said, as long as you don't both play at the same time you should be good, retail activate through steam. If you had bought via GoG then you would be able to install on multiple devices. Sadly steam has a limitation on devices.
