    Ahoy there you salty bastards!

     

    Just wanted to drop by and see how you are all doing and I have also contributed to the cause! 

     

    We're are still working hard on getting the Backer Portal up and running so everyone can have the opportunity pledge for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. As for you guys, once you guys collect all of the funds, we will still accept your pledge even after the Fig campaign is completed.

     

    There will be a deadline, but there is no set date at this moment. 

     

    We here at Obsidian wish you all the best in your community crowdfunding for the Black Isle Bastards and hope to see them in the game! 

     

    This is great news! I'll be able to donate more once I get my next pay check. :)

    I'm about as diehard of an IE fan as it can get and I really don't want Obsidian to try and do BG2. There are so many things in Pillars 1 that are trying to be BG1, BG2 or PS:T and failing at it or are just there because one of those games did it.

     

    I'd rather Pillars 2 content-wise just be a natural evolution of what they come up with rather than trying to badly emulate things that were done in the Infinity Engine games. Obviously they put that pressure on themselves with their Kickstarter campaign, but now they don't have to and I think they'd be much better off not doing it.

     

    I'm not even sure if I'd buy what they come up with but I think they'd be much better just making a game that naturally suits the story that Eric & Carrie come up with rather than going "BG2 had this, so we must have it too".

    Sen, Can you name the top 3 rpg you played please :)

    Just curious to see if i missed one of them.

    What I don't get though, is that why the people who don't like POE hang around in the forums? That's a bit odd. If I don't like a game I move on - it's been a long time since I posted on Biowares forums for example.

    I don't play GTA V or Bloodborne so there's not really any other new games to talk about at the moment. The next upcoming RPG is Serpent in the Staglands, in about a month's time. Which reminds me, I should probably go report some bugs for them.

     

    Do that, because you aint gonna get a job at Obsidian..............Guess thats why your so pissed at this moment.......

     

    But you have what i takes though...
