First day I had that I played through the first few Alien missions, getting pretty good at it. Then I realized it was dark out and was too scared to sleep for an hour.

Dragon Age: Inquisition required/recommended specs revealed
Kind of like other games they recommend 3 GB vRam, but it only requires 512 MB.

A Myst TV program is in the works with a companion... video game?
So a game about a TV show based on a game. Please don't make any jokes regarding movies that start with an I.

An RTS featuring an apocalyptic war between killer robots and eldritch abominations, duking it out for the rights to consume humanity and the planet itself

Less game and more visual novel, only you're the writer. You move through the ruins of three dead worlds and at various points are giving a writing prompt, allowing you to give your interpretation of what you're seeing.
They launched with a 20 day timespan, first time I've seen that.

This isn't the only game to push for ridiculous levels of vRAM - The Evil Within has warnings to get at least 4gb vRAM.
Other than that, after my mind rebooted about the Tetris thing, I did think of one possibility: The story of its creation and how it was all but stolen from the creator.

So, you know the stories about fans making games for defunct consoles? One of them, the RPG Pier Solar for the Mega Drive, is being ported to the PC.
Yeah, I'm impressed.

Cthulhu strategy game, where you're an ancient evil god/thing trying to free itself through subtle influence without catching the eye of heroes
Low goal, but it's apparently for art assets primarily as they claim to have done most of the development out-of-pocket

Sounds neat, but every time I see that low goal for non mobile game the eternal pessimist in me rises its head.
The official word is that they've developed most of the game engine and such; most of the money is going to an outside artist to replace placeholder art.

Oh what a surprise, a highly-anticipated game has a roughly equal mix of good and bad ratings with people who played for roughly two hours giving it a 0, a score you generally reserve for "not even a game" games.

Well... that escalated quickly.
Last time I looked at their comments page, Kickstarter was going on a spam-purge and had wiped out nearly half a page of comments from one guy.

It's their second go-around with Kickstarter. First time people thought they were pitching an MMO.

Shovel Knight.
I only got to play the SNES at a friend's house as a child, but I still remember it fondly and Captain Comic 2 was one of the first games I really completed. Taking it slowly, largely due to an obsession with achievements leading me to doing a standard playthrough of a level on one save followed by a no-deaths on a separate save. A pain to be sure, but the satisfaction of pulling it off...

Relaunch of the arcade-classic.
Skyrim mod recreating Morrowind; currently approaching an open alpha release, though content is still limited.
First person hack 'n slash with RPG character building.
Relaunch of the Ultima Underworld franchise.

Gentlemen, start your hidden cameras...

Ultima Underworld franchise next to make its return
Not really Ultima, though the original game was only slightly Ultima to begin with. I really did enjoy the game when my dad got it on the same CD as Wing Commander 2, but could never get very far due to the minor issue of it crashing to DOS whenever I tried talking to non-hostile NPCs.

It's not the first time they've glitched something like that. A few months back it was Aliens: Colonial Marines for something like -$10. The general consensus was it still wasn't worth it.

If the dollar amount is negative, the purchase won't process.

So I didn't realize it until yesterday, but the Steam community was actually rigging the contest so all teams would have an equal number of victories. Blue Team had a ridiculously large lead yesterday because all the teams were playing nice.
This probably started cutting into the Marketplace profits from cards, as Valve introduced second- and third-place prizes to encourage more competition.

So, it's Mashunt 3? Saying "no thanks" just doesn't suffice with the amount of "nope" I'm feeling.
