By the way, ever since the maintenance, the forum feels rather unresponsive. It is the same with two different ISPs, and it is not the transfer of the content that is slow as pages with loads of embedded videos or images load with no significant delay once there's a response from the server. Opening a page of the video game screenshot thread takes as long as loading any forum thread index. It's not a bandwidth issue. It also doesn't look like analytics or AWS slowing access down, which has been an issue in the past at times where the status bar in the browser would read "loading data from analytics.google.com or aws.something.or.another (i.e. user attachments )" and then hang for a bit.
I wonder if that is the same for anyone else?
Thanks, majestic. Yes this has been noted. Hopefully Admin can find a tweak to help address this

Thanks, indeed!
If Admin is having trouble replicating, omgFIREBALLS, if you have time, can you try seeing if you can replicate in an Incognito Mode with your Antivirus disabled and cache/history cleared? Since this is clearly an issue, but one that is not (gratefully) widespread, I am wondering about plugin and/or AV complications. As well, what OS are you running?

Okay.
I believe I have solved it.
Right, so using enter for linebreaks means everything past that linebreak gets removed. I can see it as I submit the post, how the rest just disappears. But, shift+enter is fine. Worked both for editing a post and making a new one.
I attached an image that might be relevant. Thanks! I have let Admin know and they will look into this tomorrow.

never mind, forum ate my post...
Hi there, as you have time can you pls PM what has happened so we can explore this further.
-
Thanks, everyone. Admin aka @SChinis doing the research to try to pinpoint the issue :). If he cannot do it, we may have to poke @The Guildmaster
-
@Gorgoncould you also, as you have time, please try & update:
- Clear cache/history and see if repeatable, shut down browser, restart; and,
- Try in a different browser to see if also repeatable
-
Thanks, Gorgon. I will pass this along ...

Thanks for the concern, but my calves are okay. Sore muscle here is in my thigh, and it's not swollen, luckily. Probably caused by some wear from biking before going to bed.
Thanks, it's already getting better.
Happy to hear @majestic! Care for yourself well!

Woke up last night from something new, a major cramp in my right teardrop muscle. Just like everyone else, I every now and then get a cramp in my calves, but those hurt a bit and go away after a bit of walking and some massage. Holy crap, that one lasted a while and caused immense pain. Still feels sore after almost a full day.
Hope you are feeling better, @majestic !

I have had the enjoyable space to watch the thermometer rise to 36C then drop to 17C over 36 hours ... life on the Canadian Prairies is always in motion ...

Grey day here on the Prairies. Walk to work was complemented with rain gear and umbrella ... just in case! Looking forward to a Pathfinder 1.0 session this evening!

Clarence Williams III, appeared in a lot of things, but may be still identified highly with his early role as Linc from the seminal 60's show THE MOD SQUAD.
My mother loved this show. When I look back of photos of her in her teens, clearly she was channelling the fashion of the day!

My good sir, a dragon does not waddle. A dragon saunters.
Point well taken

Grommie,
I was never a track person - played rugby for about 15 years. The running comes from my time in the forces. Quick the smoking, kept the running ... well more like waddling

Going to head for a long run today, likely half-marathon distance. Then hang with peeps around the firepit this evening. Of, and finish the most recent Planetary Report! https://www.planetary.org/planetary-report
