    Germany here, I'm still waiting for my CE. The email I got from Paradox told me the parcel was due to arrive between April 15th and April 17th. So I guess today is the day ;)

    For me as well. I got the same email and HOPE to get the CE-Box today. Such a big country, even such a big city with 500K inhabitants and no game yet... Damn do I hate this.... :-)

     

     

    Well, I got my email, dated 27th march, from paradox that says your swag is on the way and estimated delivery between 3-9 April.

    It is 17 April today and no delivery yet. When I check the delivery track no from USPS website, it says its in transit.

    Still waiting. I'm in Dubai by the way.

  2. Well, I went down that underground temple in gilded vale with 3 chars and it is quite challenging. Aloth dies way too quickly as these shadow and shades teleport and jump on him.

    On hard, I only could manage 2-3 group fights by resting twice.

     

    Using fast weapons with DR by pass is effective. Using my cipher's whisper of treason is a must. Use Aloth's flame spell before its too late.

    also, these shadow guys fire DR is 4, so i gave Edear a torch as a off hand weapon to het the advantage of fire damage.

     

    Anyway, it seems your party should have at least 4 people to dive into these ruined temple.

  3. the game is better and more playable with the new update. i hope it keeps getting better and better...

    my biggest complain is about stamina-health thing. this system was supposed to prevent rest spamming but currently its worse i think. after one or two combat, i need rest for my party because fighter or any of the front-liners are at the bottom of their health, while the rest of the group is fine. i am walking in cave and have to rest at least 1-2 times, if i have camping supplies. otherwise go back to inn all the way.

    there should be per rest spells for health healing.

     

    one more thing; the armors.

    i want my fighter to have great defense against enemies by providing him with the best armor with high DT. however, that armor makes his recovery way too slow and also he is getting lots of hits from enemies. then whats the point giving him plate armor? or whats the point giving a fighter a padded armor?

  4. ok, started playing today with a cipher character for a copule of hours. no need to mention bugs that everyone already talking about.

     

    for me;

    - combat is too fast and i cant tell who attacks who or does what!

    - environment looks cool but again in combat if hostiles or my characters stand behind a tree or alike, i cant see them; no character highlight at all or transparency...

    - and the attributes, it seems confusing. how these attributes effects my ciphers abilities? if i choose the exact same attributes for a paladin or cipher, what will be the difference between these two characters?

  5. What kind of weapon types should the game mechanics allow us?

    Should characters be able to use same size weapons like katana and long sword or off hand weapons should be smaller in size?

    Also, should the game restrict us to use different types of weapons like you will not be able to use long sword as main and flail as off hand weapon?

    What's your opion and choices?

  6. I am playing ps:t nowadays after a long time and there are not many epic items compared to bg 2. Ok some weapons considered as epic but not that satisfying.

     

    PE should give us to opportunity to discover great items as a reward or lore driven quest in search of these artifacts with uniqe stats such as celestial fury, crom faeyr, carsomry +5 etc... to make us feel like an adventuring hero.

     

  7. I like multiclassing and want to see it game but not like nwn 2 style, i prefer bg 2 which is 2 d&d multiclassing. So the playing character will be more balanced, not just a online gaming overpowered or messed up character who knows fighting, magic, picking locks and hiding in shadows etc.

     

    Also i dont think that prestige classes are necessary, instead there can be sub classes and proficiencies to choose while multiclassing.

  8. Well, it kinda seems to force many players to reload the last save, especially who do not like to lose even a single character of the party during/after the battle.

    In BG2, I didn't mind losing 1-2, maybe 3 members of my party after a long and tough battle because i could use resurrection rod to bring them back to life instead of playing that battle again. But this does not mean that i always did like this, sometimes i couldn't stand to lose a single character (lets say Edwin) and reload the game again.

    Its much of a choice or depend on the style of the player so I'd prefer resurrect spells to be in this game.

    Anyway, its best to see how this no-resurrect thing will work in game and PE world. It's not that hard to get used to it.

  9. I'm gonna focus on end level and link this dungeon story to 2nd big city in way, maybe a silly way but here we go:

     

    We fight a challenging, though demon-like or fallen type enemy in the last level and rescue a character of god-like race, which we have never seen but only heard from ancient legends and chanter's songs, from imprisonment or a spell like that. And this character tells us about hidden city (the other big city) where he is originally from and joins our group if we want, to take us there.

     

    Yeah, sounds silly but just a thought afterall. ;)

    Amazing and awesome screenshot and nice info about the lore. Stronghold probably will be achieved and 2nd big city definetly deserves 3.5mil. goal. I hope KS reaches to 3.5mil. so that we can have our 2nd big city and lots of hours of game play.
