I've got this in gaming back log stack. I want to play it, but I'm not sure when I'll get to it.

Los Angeles. Actually, the southern most point of Los Angeles. Just over a stone's throw away (in LA freeway terms) from PE's birthplace.

I'm going play a character I've played in many games, mostly cRPGs but also a couple of table-top games. His name is Talvin and he's human. I usually play him as bard or rakish duelist. If there's an option for chanter with a good melee sub-class I'll play him as that. Otherwise, I'll play him as a rogue, or possible a finesse fighter.

I had a hard time deciding on my *one* choice. I chose the variety of things you can do. I also wanted to choose the sheer volume of dialogue options. Oh, and the impact of race, too.

I just wanted to share my experience with all you kindred spirits. After all the reading I've been doing on these forums, I got an itch to replay Arcanum. I dug out the box and opened the cd case only to find one disk! Oh, the horror! But I went to GoG and the game is on sale for $2.39! Needless to say, I bought that sucker toot sweet!

I voted 'yes' for mulitplayer because my wife and I had a good time playing all multiplayer IE games. However, if enabling multiplayer would detract from the single player experience, I would gladly take a game without multiplayer.

I've played all the IE games through to completion at least once (way back when they were originally released). I'm currently playing a modded version of BG2 and I've a replay of Torment on hiatus. I can't wait for PE to be released. I also helped fund Shadowrun and Wasteland 2 (which I haven't played, but I found a copy online).

I wouldn't mind a multiplayer game. My wife and I played through BG1 & 2 and Icewind Dale 1 & 2 together. I'll also be happy with a single player game, especially if it turns out near PS: Torment caliber.

What is the class you will be playing first?

I will definitely play a chanter on my first run. In my second run I'll play either a rogue, wizard, druid, or ranger.
