It does raise the question, though. How hard would it be to have an option, at a sex scene, for example, to say 'i'm not really into that, but I still like you'.It's an awfully rare thing to be worth dev time.
The romance could continue as normal (after skipping the sex), while being inclusive towards asexuals. It'd one one conversation at most in terms of required dev time, not too heavy.
I think that's when Edér says it was nice knowing you and starts boning Xoti.

My uncle works at Obsidian and he says if you sail into Ondra's mortar at exactly 11:11 in-game time you can catch Pikablu, who will give you all of Avellone's shares.

No way the compression is that good, the preload is leaving a good bit out. I hope it's not enough to screw things up for the terrible internet crowd.

It's honestly been very easy for Cohh so far. I feel like the early game lacks enemies you really got to watch out for (like spirits in PoE1). I'm not trying to hate on Cohh since he is a very nice person, but I was watching him struggle on Sky Dragon on Hard difficulty in PoE1 a few days ago, mainly cause he wasn't curing terrify or utilizing accuracy buffs. He's not very experienced in Pillars of Eternity at all.
Though it is a possibility the game actually gets more difficult now as it progresses, so lets not lose hope yet.
Wait so he's not playing on PotD? Then all this is meaningless to me.

Kind of off topic:
I'm going to be running Eder as a Fighter/Rogue. He always struck me a bit of a dirty fighter (plus in PoE he started with focus in thug weapons, iirc.)
Edér was originally introduced as Edair the rogue in the original kickstarter, even. He got changed to fighter later in development.

In PotD on Pillars you could breeze through the opening with a good watcher build until hitting a hard spike like the Temple of Eothas. Maybe the guy hasn't encountered PoE2's equivalent yet.

Eh, it makes people happy. If it didn't exist, people would demand it did and we'd be complaining about the slow infiltration of our serious RPGs for hardcore lit majors by the waifu menace instead.
Although it seems like even the anti-waifu group usually has a waifu they're making an exception for, even now.

Liara is a pretty good character...in the second game and onwards. She is functionally a completely different person in the first game and, yes, kind of awful nerd bait in how she's written.

It really was pure fantasy material wasn't it. But If the ladies got their sparkly emo vampires, then the guys can get their pan-sexual space nymphs amiright?
They certainly can and I don't begrudge them that. But there's plenty of room in this market for all types. There should be games for people that hate romance of any kind, games for kawaii uguu~ power fantasy, and games for people that like something grounded in reality.

On May 8th there will be a big Deadfire release celebration stream where Chris Avellone shows up, gives Feargus a big hug, and they reveal it was all an elaborate prank. They'll also confirm Durance is a returning party member for the second half of the game, after Xoti turns out to be a Leaden Key infiltrator and leaves the party.

I heard a rumor that Pallegina has the Brotherhood of the Five Suns abilities even if she's a Kind Wayfarer. Anyone have a source on that?

Anyone that repaid Abydon's sacrifice with a thorough brain scrubbing deserves what they get when Eothas puts them up against the wall.
EDIT: Also Edér is probably a good 10 to 15 years older than Xoti. Not saying it's wrong if that's the case necessarily, but it might impact your feelings on the subject. -
I was thinking of Liara in the first Mass Effect when I wrote that but the principle is the same.
