  1. Playing the adventure game Subject 13 (which I backed on Kickstarter). It does some interesting new stuff, like the 3D look around at objects and scenes, as well as interaction with the 3D scene. And you can tell it was not written in English first, as it has some very bad grammar translations. Some even as bad as SOMEONE SET US UP THE BOMB bad, but that's OK. I kind of find it amusing.

  2. I know you must think capitalizing With Guns and making the S a Z makes you look more cultured than people that like things you don't, but it just makes you look like a pedantic jerk.

I think you might have me confused with someone who actually cares what you think.

  3. Fair enough that the fans of the PnP setting want something close to what their experience with the product is. Someone like me, on the other hand, who has never even heard of the setting, just want CDPR to make a new game, because they make good games and we want more of them. The ideal outcome is that the licence isn't exclusive and we can both have our cake.

So Basically what you are saying is, if it is The Witcher WITH GUNZ! That is all you want?

  4.

I can only pray and hope they drop Cyberpunk 2077 and an actual cRPG developer who respects and understands the Cyberpunk 2077 setting and cRPG mechanics could develop such a game. Another crappy ACTION RPG slapped with the Cyberpunk setting by CDPROJECT is not something I want to see.

Dude, your standards must be goddamn astronomical.

Not really. Obsidian understand and play PnP games and translate those mechanics very well into video games. I'd much rather they would be developing Cyberpunk.

  5. Choices seems to be the new buzz in the industry right now. But let's wait and see first, because oftentimes these games are still as linear as ever before.

Or the "choices" are all completely meaningless, and all lead to the exact same conclusion.

  7. Yeah same here. That video was on the BG: Tales of the sword coast installer. When that video played, my jaw hit the floor, and I immediately went out and tried to pre-purchase the game. I didn't even know anything about it. But that was OK. I just HAD TO BUY THIS.

  8. Most of the Star Trek games I've played (mostly in the 1980s) were terrible (IMO).  Are the ones on GOG any good?

Judgement Rites is excellent. It is a really well done adventure game, in the Star Trek setting. It is much more enjoyable than the 25th Anniversary star trek adventure game (which I did not like).

  9. I was looking at the US trademark for Sword Coast Legends™, which is owned by WotC/HASBRO, which tells me they are the ones publishing this.

A real damn shame WotC wants to make a MMO combat game with cool-downs, targeted at the general public, instead of an actual turn based D&D game, targeted specifically for D&D fans. *sigh*

Why do you hate turn based games WotC?

    Oh thats right..... money. :(

  10. Downloaded the new Beta and have been trying to play this, but at the Character Creation screen it will just suddenly quit after I select some options. Like just clicking on Male, it would instantly quit.
