Super Star Destroyer and all within it!
-
I want to add to this topic. I know a few Sith, Sith Lords and Dark Lords of the Sith.
(The three titles in the Sith ranking system during the era of the Rule of the strong and
Darth Krayt's Rule of one
However I want to know of Sith who were totally redeemed.
I Only know of two and if we think of the Dark side as a slight drug like effect, (Otherwise it wouldn't be so easy to give into it.) they were never actually tested.
Darth Vader: He was redeemed but in his redemption he died, thus he never struggled and we never found out if his strength of will would have allowed him to escape.
Ulic Qel-Droma:
He was redeemed then got cut off
so he never struggled not to Force lightening anyone who annoyed him either, I mean struggle not to use the dark. Yes of cause.
So can anyone tell me of any SITH, Dark Jedi semi possessed by Exar Kun don't count, actually Dark Jedi who don't fall the whole way don't count, Sith or above who actually redeemed and then had to struggle not to use the power that was just out waiting to be used, AND actually managed to resist.
Oh and as a marking stick, not that this is accurate, an person who can use Sith Lightening is a Sith. I know it isn't quiet accurate but it stops those who only fell slightly into the dark. btw before anyone complains Darth Vader could do Sith lightening. He does it in some of the books. They just didn't include it in the movies either cause of CG graphics problems or maybe didn't think he could do it to his own son.
Oh and to add an opinion to this, Either Exar Kun, Darth Bane or Naga Sadow should be said to be the Chuck Norris of this universe. Everyone just likes Revan, Not denying that he is cool, because you get to play as him. Its not like he made a Star explode with his force powers, Naga Shadow did, Nor did he almost totally destroy the Jedi and the Republic, like Exar, Oh and before anyone argues with this Exar did it 40 years before Revan, they were still damn recovering, Nor totally destroy all opposition like Bane did.
Wait I take that back, Yoda is the Chuck Norris of this universe.
You answered your own question almost. Think about Master Yoda and his Force Lightening. Only Sith do Force Lightening. So Yoda was once Sith!!!

If I remember correctly from what I've read, if Lucas dies, it all dies with him.
Also, I do alot of forum roleplaying so i actually have a Star Wars based character i'm working on
Its obvious what i'd write about htough if anyone here knew me that is XD
Mandalorians, balance(not good not dark, balance like Revan) and the Taung(the orignal mandalorian species) oh yea I htink a force senstivie mandalore(taung even) leading the Mandalorians back to former status in the galaxy would be epic =P
I can't really see that being true. Star Wars is going to keep making money after he's gone and that money will have to go somewhere. Wherever it goes, that entity will have the rights to control future Star Wars projects. He might make it his wishes that nothing else is made, but I doubt that would be honored for very long. Now, if he says "no more in the movie era" then I think we can all wholeheartedly agree....
please... no more in the movie era... please...
Either way we all win. Pass it on and we keep getting Star Wars. Lock it down and we open the door for great artists around the world to continue and you would just read what you liked.

Nice find, though. If someone finds the cut scenes from Empire Strikes Back (such as the Wampa attack on the rebel base) or Raiders on the Lost Ark (like the scene with Indy tying himself to the submarine's periscope with his whip), then don't hesitate to post them.
I remember seeing that submarine periscope scene. Not sure where, but I have seen it. I thought he took off his belt and used that on the periscope! Maybe not, been a long time.
Possibly from the comic book adapatation, since they included the scene there.
I have never seen the comic. I think it may have been a special behind the scenes show though. But I remember it as being the whole movie but listed as a special addition presentation on TV. But you all know how time and the mind likes to remember things.
-
Yea, the deleted/lost scenes for Episode V and VI must be found. I would like to see when Vader takes Luke to the Emperor, from the shuttle - or when he force persuades an admiral to see the emperor... And later, I think the admiral is killed by the emperor's guards.
Ok, ok. this url might not have the footage you want but it shows you pictures of the lost scenes of ANH, ESB, ROTJ. This is not the complete colection for 'The Lost Scenes'. I have seen a lot of the footage over the years, but where I do not know. I remember Luke missing the first time he threw the rope for him and Liea and then catching the over head unit. And there are others. Just keep looking out there for all of these in movie footage! Enjoy...

Yeah, this is old news - the book even had the scene in it.
Guess it is very old news. I knew about it in 1978. But I had never seen it until now. Read about all the scenes in Star Wars novel and comic from 1978. I also remember reading back then that Mark Hamill is signed to do more footage in 2011. I am not so sure but I think I remember reading somewhere that they were going to use some Star Wars (IV) lost footage in one or more of the last three films. And way back then George said he was working on the first three films in the future some time and then finish them all off with three more. (Films VII, VIII & IX) This is what I remember reading about. i think it was in one of the Starlog mag.'s. It had to be before Starlog #10. But do not quote me on that.
And I thought it might be nice to post the lost footage for others that have not seen it. Has anyone found the other lost footage yet?
-
This is part of the Star Wars movie I knew GL had but never thought I would get to see. Now to get him to include it into a DVD completing the movie. And the other lost scenes would be great. Let me know what you think about getting it into a DVD for the general public.

Agree on the Luke/Han/Leia part. - I also agree.
I might wind the clocks back a bit and right about the unification wars. Who knows. - Good idea also. I might pick another era.
I wonder what happens when George Lucas dies. Does a family member become the owner of Lucas Arts and do the stories still get written or is it all discontinued? - I am sure that there are a lot of people wondering about that very same thing. You might want to start a new topic on this subject to see what might come from it?
-
That is great and gives me a lot to read about. I have read Bane's first novel and look forward to the next one once it is TPB. That way it will match the rest of my collection so far.

Thank you for the link Jediphile.
Please, everyone understand I have been a Star Wars watcher since I had seen Star Wars for the first time in theatres, not Star Wars IV: A New Hope. I Met Lord Vader that very same year a month or so later. After he crushed my hand while I had my picture taken with him, I talked with him asking if I may be part of his following. He answered still shaking my hand yes. I then asked him what I must do and he answered, "Over time you will be shown the way". Cool, but being 14 at that time I did not understand fully what he had meant. I did not want to look dumb and ask more so I then knelt before him saying, "My Lord", and then I left. I am glad I did that. After all how many can say that? Lord Vader has been my Master ever since that day. I have been waiting for Lord Vader to have an apprentice and it looks like I can in the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (TFU)
I know it was not David but James Earl Jones within the costume. It was way cool to hear Lord Vader's voice answering me. The voice, the breathing the real suit, I was not on Earth but far,far away. I am sorry about the poor photo but it is over 30 years old. And it was my Grandmother that took the shot and I would not have had any picture if she had not. I love her for that and other things. I am much older now and am taken back to me meeting Lord Vader everytime I see or here about anything related. Everything I know about other Dark Jedi or Sith, other than the movies or TV shows, I have read in the last week online or in a couple of novels that have drawn my attention over the years.
Some more questions, if I may? Does George Lucas support any or all printed material? And if not, why 'believe' what is in those printings that have not received support? Is it not true that he does not support anything before Phantom Menace unless it is presented within the movies? And that he likes some of the EU and may include some in future Star Wars projects? Like TFU?
I wish to thank you for the help I have been getting on this site, especialy DeathScepter & Jediphile. I hope in the near future to be one helping also.

Another question,
Are the Sith not an old race? And were the Sith then conquered by Dark Jedi who adopted their form of magic. Then did these Jedi call themselves Sith Lords. The first known Dark Lord of the Sith (Dark Jedi to conquer Sith) of recorded history was Darth Scarz, which is not to be confused with Darth Ghore, the first known Sith Monarch. Is this not canon?
I know Darth Scyreus is not canon. But I want to ask you what you thought of the general story and why it is or is not good? And when it does come out in print will it then be thought of as canon, is this is all it takes to add to the EU of Star Wars? One just gets published?
-
So, at this stage who is the oldest canon Darth known?
-
even if he is under development, it doesn't make him canon.
http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Scyreus Read the link and it does say that it is a swfanon and we all know what fanon really is.
Translation: Fanon is a fans take on canon but it is not canon itself.
Yes, that is the URL I linked you to in my second posting on this forum. I am not hiding anything and will cease all subjects other than 'canon' at this site. You have now answered my question about what this forum talks about.
-
don't you realize that He is a fanon character and NOT a Movie or EU canon character. I did some research on him and he is a fanon character.
Well if you are going to whine about canonicty of this character, show me what works he is in.
I did ask if this site was limited to just gaming. Maybe not, but I think you are limited to just published works and not new stories under development. That being said; this story is still under development, as is stated at the start of the post I had linked to. His life and teachings are in the linked post for anyone to read with more history being added. You can see his history is not over and timelines can be developed without end. As you read along you see the author is working out clashes and timeline conflicts. You can see some areas of the story are short and will be worked on while others look complete. More chapters can be added if the flow of the story allows and that is the authors plan. I am happy to watch as an author brings a new character to life, all the time asking for our input. You might be able to help shape a Star Wars character and not just read about them. That is the beauty of this medium. However, nothing is ever written in stone. Is this not the right forum, Comprehensive Sith Lords List? Do you not want to record major Sith Lords? You should maybe state published characters only from stories, comics, games and movies. As you can see I am a 'nub' at this forum only and have read what I thought was your 'read here first forum', but I may have missed something I should have read. By the way, why do you state that I whine? Do you feel threatened? Good, I feel the anger building within you!

Darth Syreus
Jathor Vourne was a Human male born of legend in prelude years of the First Great Schism, and was later famed as the Sith'ari of Sith legend. During his training, he started out as being somewhat insecure and low profiled. During his Jedi training with Awdrysta Pina, he was able to overcome his reluctant nature and truly tap into his unlimited potential. Though, through his late adolescent years, he was slowly swayed to the dark side of the Force by his perception of the galaxy

You should check out the story behind Darth Scyreus.

Why not Darth Scyreus?

I trust this forum is not limited to just gaming?
