" Do you think people have a right to spread the virus "
Let me rephrase the question. Do you think people have a right to live?
4 hours ago, BruceVC said:Do you support mandatory vaccine passports that people have to show when working in private or public sector and then in institutions like schools and university's?
No. People should not be segregated on any criteria including medical procedures. I thought you should know that being South African.

LOL:
"At the time, it was scarier to be associated with Trump and to become a tool for racists, so people didn't want to publicly call for an investigation into lab origins," she said.

Mead doesn’t taste good.
It does, you just need to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women beforehand.

This is not new. Young people have always had a naivete about what is right and wrong. Distrust of authority and government and thinking critically about society come with age.
You really think that? From my experience it's more often the youth that rebel against government and establishment rather than older folks. Especially surprising since you are from USA. I don't remember people protesting Vietnam as being a buch of older people or the civil rights movement for that matter.

Did he though? Don't you thing the resentment of local authorities and media towards him played the factor? Remember USNS Comfort situation? How everyone was bashing president that it's impossible it will arrive in NY to help out? Do you think that local authorities not believing it will arrive contributed to the fact it was not used as best as it could be? Remember how Trump was universally mocked about vaccine being finished by the end of the year? In retrospect many things Trump did and said turned to be spot on.
And what about the fact that each state and county have much independence from federal government? I don't think we can apply the same measures as in other countries to USA where federal government doesn't have the same level of authority.

I'm trying Solasta since it's on Game Pass and the project is interesting in few points. Mechanics are very well implemented with a lot of versatility in encounters and I didn't encounter any big bugs which is refreshing. What is a novelty and somewhat a milestone in RPG games is that it's fully voiced and responsive to each character and yet you create your whole party. So it's possible to make a game that doesn't rely on set protagonist or mute main character and also gives freedom in creating a character or a party of characters.

Seems to be "ending well" in China (well, besides their piss poor diplomacy in recent years).

...Way to strawman, if you read my post you will see that I was actually defending the idea of leaving the private sector alone and simply adding some government jobs into the mix, and creating a more balanced economy.
I don't think anyone with a properly screwed on head wants pure absolute socialism in the 21st century, where consumer goods flood the market en masse. An employment safety net by the government is sufficient.
Except it's nothing new. There were a private sectors in communist countries. Didn't end well.

I still think the best solution is not to try to curb the private sector but to create a more robust public sector where the government controls key strategic resources and employees any citizen who wants a job.
I mean we've already tried the whole "Bleed the rich and raise the wages" routine which led to stagflation which led to harsh right wing pushback manifested in the ilk of Reagan and Thatcher. Maybe we should try to redirect that energy into 21st century solutions.
Your solution was tested extensively throughout 20th century around 100 million people paid the ultimate price. I would rather repeat Thatcher and Reagan.

If he had the assurance, he wouldn't be breaking the court order.
How so?
CD shall be restrained from: i. attempting to persuade AB to abandon treatment for gender dysphoria; ii. addressing AB by his birth name; and iii. referring to AB as a girl or with female pronouns whether to AB directly or to third parties;A third party is anyone, not just media or public forum.
-
Are those assurance even legal? Basically he would want assurance that someone will not tell on him that he broke the court order, which is something people are compelled by law to do. At least in some countries.

I believe family courts directing parents on how to act in the best interests of the child is pretty common.
And excluding an actual abuse cases courts shouldn't interfere in how parents raise their children.
18 minutes ago, BruceVC said:And to be fair this is what the court order ruled so its not like he cant talk about it in private
Except this part: "whether to AB directly or to third parties; " does exactly that.
And if this part will not hold up then please tell why was it in court ruling? For funsies? I don't think a person that gets a court ruling is allowed to choose this part is important and I have to follow it and this part I can skip.

While I might be ok with the b part being a court mandate behavior the a part is pure BS and something Orwelian Thought Police comes to mind. Scary stuff.
