  1. wiz: death ring, petrification

    druid: touch of death

chanter: boil their flesh.... and upgrade

priest: dismissal (race and lv dependent)

marux amanth dager (soulbound) : sacrifice

no clue how detonate from cipher looks, never tested it

    maybe some others?

most of them work only on enemies under 25% health

Anyway, good fun (if I had died again after 2 hours probably I'd have uninstalled). I have a question for you guys, do you know if Death Ring destroys near death enemies if it grazes? or only when it hits/crits? Because I had like 10% chance to graze her against fortitude, but perhaps with Eldritch Aim I could have succeeded at my 1st strategy and killed her without killing the sigils.

she will not die without opening all remaining sigils (she opens, then die) so you would have to face all sigils at once

    I think graze it's enough

It also triggers when you an enemy you engage is killed (whether by this char or another). So its actually much better then it sounds!

its get even better, as long as you are not at max wounds and engage any monk ability that removes  engagment will get discounted by 1

    wotw->4 wounds

    skyward kick->2

    efficient anguish->0

as long as you hit with last two

I think I am going to try to get the Sanguine Great Sword at around level 12 this run. It should be easier since it's turn-based - though I recall Vampires being quite scary in mid-levels! ;)

How soon can I realistically get Karaboru in PotD?

    straight out of Maje

edit. idk what PER you need to see the switch to vault and you have to buy your way in  (2000) or pass some skill check with Kipeha

Any other tips or tricks to get this quest to trigger?

Most of my active party is level 20 already and I only need to pick a faction for Ukaizo. Haven't done the vanilla quest on the Black Isles.

I checked and I do have the quest on my first character, but for some reason I can't get in on my current playthrough and it's getting quite... annoying.

    did you had earthquake event?

never tested it but i suspect dagger modal wont stack with conqueror  stance(but there are also bracers of deflection and ekkevit drink that should stack after save/reload)

How many items is it possible to enchant to Legendary, excluding the four from SSS?

I know you can get one if you kill the Kraken (which I won't, for I want the Savage Cunning passive), and one if you steal the Kraken's eye from the namesake tavern in Port Maje (is it possible to do without getting caught?). Can't quite remember what other sources of Legendary enchantment there are.

2nd eye of Kraken is on black isle pre earthquake ( before triggering FS)

Stone of Power does stack with everything. It's a case where an item-generated user-initiated ability is an exception to the normal stacking rules. I'm guessing there's some flag or bit they forgot to set in the game files, or maybe the designers themselves weren't in complete agreement on how to treat stacking for non-persistent effects coming from items. (In, fact I think it was @Boeroer himself who pointed this out to me and he was right.)

I've checked it and it looks like it's not stacking

similarly village fool cap will give you resolve immunity but everyone will get a deflection penalty (you and enemies). this deflection penalty is actually not bad in certain fights, but as a general thing might be too punishing.

Character wearing it is excluded from effects.

Chanter/bm ( I assumed he runs bloodmage) for dex immu can just cast Shatter their shackles... and extend it via wall of draining.

  10. Spores have some wicked abilities, for example "storing magic" - every time they are hit with spell number of stacks of it goes by one, on death for each stack they fire magic missiles (like lv1 spell, autohit), with few stacks they can hit hard.

Spell reflection work vs disintegration, watch out not to cast it on enemies with it and try to keep it all the time on wizards.

Try to use BDD(priests spell, nemnok cloak, wand from Bkarna observatory), street sweeper staff with proper upgrade can help too. IDK how items with "second chance" type of enchantment interact with disintegrate type of spells.

  11. Human/Living Lands
    base stats
    12 mig
    10 con
    18 dex
    18 per
    14 int
    4 res

    after bonuses
    22 mig  +2BB +1gift +1Rabyuna Boon +2Alchemic +2food +1human +1 living land
    15 con  +2BB +2 Alchemic +1belt
    23 dex  +2BB +2 Alchemic  +1Rabyuna Boon

    18 int  +2BB +2Alchemic
    12 res +2BB +2Alchemic +2Nature resolve +2Rabyuna Boon +1Human +1ring

Shark soup for food + all bonuses you can get I wouldn't go lower on might because with just 3 wounds (without thonderous blows, ) I had enough +dmg and +dmg taken(from helwalker) to push dot from hylea talons above 8dmg (treshold for wound generation)
Head: Cap of Laughingstock or Mask of the Weyc(for extra concetration)
Neck: whatever(i've used bone setter mostly) or Stone of Power if you want to use fists, you need two of them for stacking/reloading, easy to get)
Armor: Efiggy Husk with per immunity
Rings: Ring of Prosperity Fortune/ of Solitary Wanderer or Whispers of the Depths (for fist dmg)
Feet: Rakhan Field Boots (free full attack 1/encounter)
    Cape: Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak
    Hands:Hylea's Talons
    Belt: Upright Captain's Belt
Pet: Pes/Ooblit/Eviee or smth with +health on kill

    Weapon:
Magran's Favor(modal on)/Scordeo's Edge is hard to  beat but but I kept all weapons I found. Killed Serafen for Hand Mortar (always off hand, I need that melee  hits with swift flurry/heartbeet drumming from main hand for dot from talons to appear )  that AoE with cloak (stunts) was usefull when I faced a lot enemies. Modwyr for having int immunity when needed. Frosty bow for Dorudugan
Prestige+power lv from food+Stone of Power will push fist to post post mythic +95%dmg/+26acc/+7pen
Alternatively Whispers from Depths can provide +1pl.
For defense immunities and concetration: Shark soup for body afflictions immunity, armor for per immu, modwyr for int and hat+eevie for getting rid of res affliction(hat doesn't work on wearer but summons will  have it too)

  12. If you wait for triggering brilliant  you should have 0 issue with killing it with crushing doom, in that movie is generic hired char (max per/ 12 might/ droped resolve) without any bonuses like food, fancy gear etc, just with 2 grimoires(Aloth and Concelhaut) and brilliant cape. Due the lack of pen/better gear its a grind during first stage but it should give you idea how to position yourself so you wont loose buffs by staying with symbiot, have enough targets for draining wall and how to proceed after first stage. There are other ways (abusing deltro, blade cascade, draining touch etc) that you can look up on Ultimate runs but using crushing doom its proven strategy.

    edit. it's on PotD lv 19 garrote/bm

i think you can theoretically just go on a killing spree in the VTC building and get it there? but yeah, that definitely reads like someone just going through items on a wiki page without consideration of feasibility or effectiveness.

nope, Nirro wears it and before Ukaizo he is only present during cutscenes (palace, Castol trial), by going murderhobo in VTC you can get Ragged Cloak  from Alvari

On another note, Is this build really as good as they claimed.

    https://brightrockmedia.com/2020/02/20/poe2-best-monk-build-pillars-of-eternity-2/

Nope, just by the filling cape slot by Violet Redemption (last drop in the game, in Ukaizo) you can say it was theorycrafted by someone with less hours played than most of veterans here spended watching intro (it was unskippable at realese).

All good sc monks(mortar monk, melee helwalker, builds abusing Eders armor and keeper of the Flame or disengegment/parting sorrow)  are build around WotW/resonant touch/ajammut cloak and steady stream of wounds.
