A tad off-topic, but we need a companion with a special “bananamancer” subclass for wizard.

[How do I, um, penetrate?]

Rangers have the highest accuracy in the game (marked for the hunt, accurate wounding shot, concussive tranq, various passives, etc.) so they can easily break the penetration barrier with crits.

 

I use a ranger/monk(wanderer) so in addition to crits, I also have the tenacious buff from monks, which adds 2 penetration (3 extra on crits due to the +50% pen bonus). This allows me to get 21 (11 base, 6.5~7 crit bonus, 3 tenacious buff) penetration on most of my hits.

Make your own duderinos. That way you can have more flexibility with the character classes. The possibilities are much greater this way and it will be more fun.

Good idea, it would allow so many new builds. Imagine the combinations with "The Lovers Embrace", "Ball and Chain", "Endre's Flog of Obedience", "The Willbreaker"...

 

We would need a new "Lady of Pain" too and there would be an "Ogre Matron Dominatrix Transmuter"

I’ll may make a custom adventurer when the DLC comes out and test out one of your builds. They certainly sound interesting, and I’ve always wanted to try integrating a single class fighter on my team.

I don’t think Fighters are bad (as Boroer has shown), but I do believe they are VERY boring as a single class. Perhaps their simplicity is what makes them seem weak?

Fassina is the best designed sidekick in my eyes. (Love the hair). I would appreciate if Obsidian gave her a more important role in the upcoming dlc.

Due to extreme grief from being rejected by the watcher, Eder goes back to his home in Aedyr to live out the rest of his days as a farmer. (Regardless of the ending you got in the first game)

For context, you can flirt with her after she just told you that she was suicidal and couldn't accept her own body. And then you can be all smiling seductively and tell her how perfect she is. It feels like bad timing. That's what I meant.

Considering the whole biawac thing, Caed Nua blowing up, and a bunch of other happenings in the game, it seems like ‘bad timing’ is what the watcher excels at.

He asked my female Watcher if she was hitting on him and when she said no he commented that that was good because it would be a complication or something like that. He gave me the impression that he wouldn't mind a relationship with a woman, but he was not interested at the moment.

Atsura is definitely an advanced psycho.

And he says, "I can see where I may have confused the poor fellow in my academy days." So it sounds like Iselmyr was pushing him on various people, he fought it, and poor Ymir ended up in the middle with no idea what was going on.

 

And he was friends with Benessa because, as he says with some regret, he "realized there could be nothing between us." Y'know, since he was lying and spying on her and all.

 

In any case, there's no reason to think Aloth's sexuality changes depending on the Watcher's gender. He likes guy Watcher and gal Watchers - if you can finally work him around to admitting it

Aloth mentions an attraction to the (female) animancer he was working with no matter the gender of the Watcher. And it seems he was not interested in the fellow at the Wild Mare; that was Iselmyr trying to stir things up (which is why he "confused the poor fellow").

 

To me, it felt like he had more of a friendship, rather than attraction, to the animancer on Port Maje, and Iselmyr does mention that while he was in school with the dancer in the Wild Mare, that it was the only time Aloth "was fingering something other than his spellybooks".

 

Edit: Also, I mentioned a female Watcher because he is a possible Romance option for the Watcher.

I'm pretty sure Aloth is gay, at least if there is no female Watcher. (Based on his Wild Mare upstairs event)

Serafen doesn't really care either way. He's a pirate first and Principi second. Obviously, he doesn't like if you mess with the Principi because he's in it, but he won't just leave ya, at least he never left me when I had -5 Principi rep.
