  1. Why turn off second core? My computer is dual-core too, which works perfectly fine...

But the problem is I haven't test it on my laptop yet...I simply turned off all sounds.

BTW, do you have any ATI Catalyst Driver? If yes, then add "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" [Of course without quotation marks] under "Graphics Options" which usually helps.

thanks that actually fixed my problem also

No problem. It's good to hear your problem is solved.

  2. Duh dude, my 9600 pro works fine with it, gotta upgrade soon though huh?

    Ummmm..... right

    anyway...

I don't think it matters what graphic card you have, just so long as you have enough space on you computer... and if you not a mac user... I feel sorry for them, never getting to see the impact of K2 :'( unless of course they have an X-Box which is good for them. :joy: enough of my ramblings, you can get on with your life now... lol :D

Anakin, there is a Mac version of K2.

I use that card. MAX in everything.

But I bet it will lag in Dantooine.

  3. You also get the force sight view when you go to first person view with Kriea and Visas. (Tab) on the PC version will put you in first person view, just do this with Visas or Kriea active.

I found a use for it. It is cheating but fun. There is a Force power mod that has a force power that creates a copy of you that will fight along side you. This power always creates the copy in front of you. I would got to a door and use force sight to see thru it. If there were enemy I would stand infront of the door and it would create the copy on the other side! My clone would then start the fight! I could watch it all with force sight. It is not a thing you want to do all the time but it is fun. It tells you how well the game's AI would do with your char.

I know this is no big selling point but I think we all know by now that this power is next to useless. I think it would have been realy good if it alowed you to see the cloaked assasins. But the game only puts the assassins in the game when you get close enough for them to attack. Only your steath field genorator will give you a chance to find this out. But at that point while the power will show you the assassins the power is a little late to be of use.

Another thing on this power is that you are told at the start of the game that you can sense the power coming off of droids with the force. But they are next to invisable to force sight. This power was doomed from its ceation for lack of a good use.

Really. BTW, First person view is activated by "Caps Lock", not "Tab", which is changing the NPC you control.

  4. Yeah, on Dantooine it lags, only if you're using ATI driver.

Type in this under [Graphics Options]:

"Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" without quotation marks.

You have to type in this manually because you can't disable it by option menu.

    Hope it helps. :-)

  5. Answer:

    How to enable this power:

    1. It works both First Person View and Third Person View.

    2. You have to turn on Frame Buffer Effect, under "Graphics" in "Option".

    3. You have to download Team Gizka's fix.

    What it look like:

    1. It shows NPC's alignment. Red for DS, blue for LS, gray for neutral.

    2. It can look through doors, but not walls and enter/exit of area.

  6. And another thing is, they will use health packs if their health is too low...Toughest opponent I've even encountered.

My opinion is use a good ranged weapon, run to the desk at east of the door to the cantina, and shot. The twin suns will not chase you if you're fast enough.

And, use Vibroblades instead of lightsabers because Vibroblades can cut through the shields.

  7. :aiee:

Anyway a Sentinel with the extra skill points can open up some extra dialogue... at least I think that's what caused Bao-Dur to say "Not too shabby" when I fixed the Speeder on Nar Shadda. Guardian and Sentinel are fairly well balanced, if you compare the extra feats for a Guardian with the extra skills of a Sentinel, and Strength with a Sentinel's Dexterity.

    health points.

    Wrong...Wrong...Wrong...

For Health points, we prefer Vitality Points...

For Sentinel, I think it's Constitution, not Dexterity unless it has DS mastery...otherwise, it's Constitution.

God your tedious. I don't want to rob you of the small satisfaction you must have got from writing "Wrong...Wrong...Wrong..." and frankly I don't really care what you think.

Guardian's are recommended Strength. Sentinel's are recommended Dexterity.

    Me neither...

Guardian: Strength, right. But Sentinel? Just dodging bullets and grenades doesn't help you during a lightsaber duel, right? So I recommend Constitution.
