  1. Is this even a real question???? Revan.

    1. Revan mastered the force at a younger age

    2. Had the ultimate training of both Light and Darkside

    3. Survived his reconnection as did Exile.

    4. As TrueNeutral said he was stronger than them

    5. beat all the sith lords of Korriban.. holo or not.

    6. Was quote "swarming" with the force.

    7. An incredible finese duelist according to sources...

    8. Why am I even doing this..

    9. This is a another pointless thread...

    10. Hasn't this happen already.. I smell a bump?

    11. They would never have to fight.

And Revan is the overall Top Jedi of his era. Why? Anyone remember who Bane consulted to prefect his technique... REVAN. He can both defend an attack on his Republic... and attack them later on...

  2. No the exile is still connected after Kreia's death because of her bonds with the other Force sensitive people she's picked up along the way.

I would assume that after Kreia dies, her power is reduced considerably.

I agree, I think this is the most likely case, although it isn't explained at all what happens to the Exile once she kills Kreia. I mean, following the Rebuilt Enclave scene, the Exile's still panicking about what happens to her if Kreia dies...

But that is when he is ignorant... He "thought" he would die, but Kreia could of just "gave" up her connection before her death.. ending the death and granting Exile with his force.. Kind of like a

    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!

YOU WIN YOUR RECONNECTION TO THE FORCE!!!

    dun dun dun!

  3. Quote: this, Quote: that, blah, blah, blah! You all are making a huge nuisance of pointless arguments. Just talk about what you would like to see in the game, otherwise, this forum will get EXTREMELY BORING! That's why they made this topic in the first place. 'preciate it.

That shows how ignorant you are. Who ever said discussion was polite and nice? Anyways... to help anyone who visits these forums or just happens to read this before you post

    BIOWARE+OBSIDIAN=NOT GONNA HAPPEN

    BIOWARE=EA

And of course a soldier couldnt run the game thats just plain silly. Ive got an idea... Is anyone else tired of being an "older" character?? It would be kind of cool if you were some char who was granted some amazing abillities.. but is only 15-20?

Just a thought, but it would be kind of cool to "age" through the game... I do not know of any GOOD games that have this concept. How many things would work im unsure.

Another idea, wouldn't it be great if there is dialogue with Revan and Exile in which you relive past battles.. like the battle of Malachor... Dxun.... and so on. It would be kind of cool to "BE" someone in one of those wars reliving the carnage and devastation of battle....

  4. Have you forgoten the plot already? You find out in the end that Revan was just true to himself, he was testing the republic and strengthning them for the upcoming "True threat." Revan in my opinion would mutilate Exile, but there' no chance they would fight unless they discuss what to do and ULTIMATELY DISAGREE.

The Jedi Civil War was not only intended to prep the Republic, but also to clean the Jedi Order, so that the next conflict wouldn't be a repeat of the Mandalorian Wars. With an infinite fleet, he could thin Jedi numbers without inflicting much on Republic forces (think Palpatine's Clone Wars, only with a different intent). Revan's plan was thrown off-track when Malak turned on him and Revan became an unsuspecting Republic trooper. Whether or not he would have use the Star Forge's arsenal against the True Sith is unknown.

Like I suggested in the OP, I think Revan would tell the Exile to go back to where she came from, since he didn't want anyone knowing where he went, and if the Exile refused to leave, he probably would start to get a bit more forceful in trying to get the Exile to take a hint. ... and considering the Exile isn't Bastila, he most likely has less of an issue striking her (Exile) down

Yes I know that... That is pretty much what I hinted at, and Revan is not the kind of person to tell Exile to go and eat his ass. BUT I see what you mean, Revan set out alone, and didn't even take Kreia with him, so it is perceived as if Revan want's no one to come along. BUT Exile asked Kreia if he should pursue Revan, and Kreia didn't give him a straightforward anwser but obviously hinted at going with him. I think Revan would conflict but Exile having been the one to kill Kreia would have to explain what happened, as would Revan... So there would be a big discussion and most likely They would work together considering they both saved the galaxy.

Hey, Bane had a female apprentice, and no one was more bad*ss than him.

But yeah, I do believe all the supporting characters are geared toward a male apprentice. Plus the apprentice's voice actor looks EXACTLY like his character. This game's still going to be tyte, though.

BANE! :) Umm... anyway, yeah, TFU should be sick, but I'm not sure. But you can't be a female. at least that means there shouldn't be a Carth-like whiny character. :)

  5. Obama is a liberal he will tax everybody so bad we will regret having him. He is like another democrat before him who I forget the name of, who believed in the community and all that good stuff so he could get elected. Then his 4 year term was the downfall of business because increased taxes means more government money which weakens the economy. John McCain is a 22 year veteran who has served in the vietnam war and was a POW for 7 years. That is the kind of man you want running the country, someone who's previous accomplishments scream NATIONAL SECURITY. That is exactly what Obama is failing and will fail at if elected. So Obama is christian, he just left his old church.. hmm how convenient. He claims he christian but his name still is Barac Housein Obama. You know what that means??? HES NOT CHRISTIAN. When you transfer religions from muslim to anything or anything to muslim you are forced to change your name because it must fit your religion. So if hes christian why is his name still have muslim writted all over it.. Because hes a phony, his father lives in like kuwait and is also muslim. So if you guy's want to hand the enemy the title of President.. your asking for it.

  6. It's a definitely problem that the planets seem very small and similar all over. It was a definite plus that Telos did in fact have a cold north pole - we'll never see that on Tatooine, I fear :(

I guess Tatooine in K1 really was the worst, as the feeling of huge, planet-spanning deserts is totally lost in very small area where you can instantly see all the important stuff in the distance upon leaving the city >_<

If they ever do KotOR3, I hope they let us explore some landscape that are both huge and empty. Tatooine would be easy - just a huge, huge desert of sand and nothing else, which it would take hours or even days of play for the player to walk across. Boring, you say? Well, let the Ebon Hawk have a portable landspeeder to break out when planet-exploring. That would be cool. Flying a speeder beats walking, and would allow the sense of vastness to return too.

"Who would win in a race, a speeder or jedi's force run"

Yes that could be something to consider... and yes tatooine is another limited planet.

  7. The kotor's sadly had no romance that was obvious. There were hints and phrases describing a possibillity but thats about it. And if anyone has played Mass Effect bio actually did tremondously better on the romances... There was partial nudity!!! I love the dialogue choices when you get intiment with one of your companions in that game. Your her superior and after she says "that was great" you can say "how bout round 2".

Because we all know that love is all about the nudity, even if it's partial. Everything else is secondary.

WOOT!!!! Moderator at my side!! Bow Chicka Wow Wow! Lucas can just up the rating to a M... *cough Cough*

  8. I thought the Exile was feeding off of Kreia the whole time (hearing the Force, distantly, through her), and then the more Force Sensitives that joined (and Jedi trained), the more people she should feed off of to fuel her own Force connectivity. While she was in Exile, there was no one to feed off of, and because she had been disconnected from the Force, she was able to survive.

No, the exile has no force connection. None. He had none while he was in exile, and he has none during the game. So why can he use the force during the game? Because he forms new bonds with his companions and can "feel" and manipulate the force through those - note how it's described as being "somehow far way" or "from across a great chasm" or "like an echo" the first time he feels the force again. That's because he has no direct connection - he has a connection only through a bond with Kreia at that point, which is the "distance" mentioned, as he gets the force "second-hand", if you will.

So why didn't the exile do that during his decade in exile in the outer rim? That's what HK-47 tells us - he simply disconnected himself from other people, and without a bond to other people he has no access to the force.

The exile is, of course, completely oblivious about this throughout most of the game.

Exactly, Exile never had an existing force level coursing through him. However after Kreia's death he is connected to the force why? Because he most likely receives most of her's... Or he just is granted it back.

  9. Not so fast Xard, how can you compare Aliens to Star Wars...? I know this is where opinions kick in but in a overall vote Star Wars will beat any other series. Yes I see where your coming from, but just because its stripped down D20 mechanics, it is and always will be Star War's first RPG. I may not being using revolutionary in the correct way, but it still is revolutionary in itself because it was the first. Maybe not in a overall gaming way, but by anything to do with Star War's Yes!

  10. It could be viewed as "your" choice but theres enough substantial information to state he didn't just merely fall. He aided the republic in the mando war's not because he was evil but merely to end the threat. The council was doing absolutely nothing! Which fueled Revan to take immediate action. Now he was never "Dark" lord but was very close to completely falling. And its not he didn't trust the council Kreia taught him they were flawed... its obvious, I mean she did the same thing to Exile. Now there are many speculations on why he went to the darkside, but its shown that the old republic wasn't ready for any kind of threat involving betrayal. Yes he caused many lifes.. but Revan's always believed in the "Greater Good"

  11. You just contradicted yourself... you said it was Star War's FIRST rpg which is revolutionary in itself. If you don't take it in that form than that doesn't matter you already said you enjoyed it. TFU will last as long as its 19-24 hours of gameplay Lucas Arts said it will, kotor in my case lasted over 100 hours..

  12. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to put it in more blatant terms at the time. And I thought you were serious excuse the partial flamming. Yes I agree something must happen to Revan and Exile.... but it doesn't neccesalry have to be bad... Think about a romance... (just throwing stuff out) a potential epic conflict in which all the characters must work together.. Some way of stopping the sith that causes them both to give their lifes.. New guy fueled by both of the master teachers kills one or the other... or both?
