  1. None.

The appearance of power possessed by a Jedi/Sith can only be provided by The Force and without it they are nothing.

I believe a strong or weak connection to The Force resides within one's ability and desire to learn more about The Force and it's simultaneous connection to all living entities.

  2. Jedi Academy had better combat gameplay than Kotor, it's no contest. JA was an action game: superior gameplay is what it's all about. Unless Kotor breaks from the not--quite-progressive D&D based combat system (how the hell do you justify applying turns, to super human Jedi combat?), JA will continue to be the better game in the combat category.

Who said that combat in JA lacks finesse? My single-blade Jaden had plenty of nifty moves. JA sticks to Star Wars tradition with its gameplay; Kotor on the other hand, is based off D&D traditions.

Force choking enemies then throwing their carcasses off a ledge, beats every one of the "force powers" in Kotor. Kotor tries with force crush and few other abilities, but when the system doesn't allow Force users to block certain moves it becomes lame. In JA any and every force user can block or counter your offensive force maneuvers.

yes and i think that in kotor its lame that sometimes when u attack the opponet doesnt even have any effect.....and JKA beat kotor in most ways :D

Kotor is way better than Jedi Academy.Better story, that's not even debatable. For me the combat system was better than in Jedi Academy.More force powers in Kotor than in JA.The only point which JA can beat Kotor in my opinion is in the multiplayer mode because kotor does not have one.

I would have to agree with Revan Sky's comment. As for the combat in KOTOR II, hopefully a much more extensible and intuitive combat system will be implemented in KOTOR III.

  3. I'd attempted to check out the TotJ series (what with Nurb pimping it out every chance he got), but no where I've found has the entire series, and I hate picking up just odd pieces of series and having huge gaps.

I've been tempted to check out the KOTOR comic series, as my book store has it, but keep forgetting, and by the time I do the different issues are no longer on the shelves.  <_<

If you are experiencing problems locating the indivudual issues, just pick up the Trade Paperback (TBP) contaning the issues of the desired storyline.

  4. True, but last time I checked, the NEC IS an Official Source and it says that Palpatine IS the most powerful of them all, that includes the Ancient Sith aswell. LA & LFL are allowed to call it like they see it.

@Xard:According to LA and LFL,Sidious does.

This may be true but, what is Power? Define Power. This is a very general term that is easily misinterpreted. Power can be altered by environmental circumstances or even one's perception of the word. Documented it may be, Sidious' power in correlation with an ever-changing entity such as The Force is unknown.

  5. I agree that Sidious was indeed the most influential Sith, but not the most powerful. Change is inductive to Time. It is inevitable that people change with Time. The Universe is in a constant state of change. As is The Force. These characters are nothing without The Force. Power is temporary, if at all existent.

  6. You can try looking up the Tales of the Jedi series which were released years ago. They take place in the Kotor era, prior to the Kotor game events.

I own all but two issues of the Tales of the Jedi comic series. It is a great series and I would recommend them to anyone interested in Star Wars history prior to the happenings within the KOTOR games. As Levar Burton would say, "Don't take my word for it" - Check them out at the following link.

I am currently reading the first book in a series of upcoming books labeled Star Wars - Legacy of The Force: Betrayal. It is awsome so far. Check out this Hyperlink for more details. o:)

  7. Re-opened, we'll try it out. Fire those ideas away. ;)

    Stick to the topic people.

Fair enough question. It's a grey area thing; very specific topic vs. general open discussion. So let's keep it on-topic, please.

    Yes. Thank you.

I would very much like to get this thread going in the right direction, please.

Also, please save any rude, insulting, or blatantly loud and ignorant comments for an off-topic thread. Make this fun for everyone. Thank you.

Anyone have any Force related suggestions, ideas, or even self-made concepts for KOTOR III? If you do, they will be welcomed here.
