Resistance: Fall of Man
Ah, the PS3, right? How is everything?
edit: erm...wait, maybe that's the Wii title...same question if it is.
Yes, I picked up my PlayStation 3 on November 17th. Everything is great so far. I currently own Resistance: Fall of Man and Ridge Racer 7. The User Interface is elegant and simple to use. Resistance: Fall of Man and Ridge Racer 7 look fantastic in 1080i/1080p. There is one thing I have to say to anyone that does not own a PlayStation 3: It is a great system, and you will not understand that completely until you own one for yourself. To all the fanboys out there: Quoting biased and partial reviews will never make the Xbox 360 better than the PlayStation 3. To be completely honest, I own an Xbox 360 as well, and besides Gears of War, it has nothing on my PS3.
Except that the PS3 doesn't have Gears of War. "
Gears of War is good, but definitely not worth all of hype that pushed it's release.

Jack Thompsson and the league of christian conservatives has got it completely backwards. Aspiring psychos like to play violent video games* or watching snuff clips on the internet BECAUSE they are psychos to begin with, not because the stuff itself makes them. What makes them that way is either genetic or the result of a seriously screwed up childhood.
Its exactly how people in the 18th century accused Beethovens music of inspiring the young to lewd acts, or how the Beatles white album supposedly inspired the Manson Family. Completely and outrageously wrong in every aspect.
*, Normal people dont actually percieve game violence as violence, its just part of the gameplay. And also the built-in human psychological rephlex that pressing a button and getting massive amounts of feedback(like a massive explosion or) is tons of fun.
I agree. Humans will continue to search for answers to problems they are unable to solve themselves. Jack Thompson's motives are fickle. He resembles a sociopath who has recently emerged from the abyss of his self-loathing and is angry at the world for his own stupidity. He is a class act Charlatan. The guy reminds me of Emperor Palpatine.

Sorry, guys. It is not possible to create a LightSaber. At least not with a Laser. Basically, a Laser is an intense beam of quantified Photons. A Photon is a particle with ZERO mass. It consists of a quantum of elecromagnetic radiation. Therefore, classifying Light a Wave. Waves are more like machanisms for the transmission of energy, which do not do not require the translocation of matter. Essentially, a Photon has a certain probability of being in a given element of space, which can be closely compared to the orbital movements of an Electron around the nucleus of an atom. My point is, obstructing a Laser is not possible without some form of physical interference. A LightSaber stops abruptly mid-beam, which is contrary to the physical attributes of a Laser.

Well, I finally put new batteries in my digital camera. So now, I present my ridiculously awesome Social Distortion poster.
Beautiful.
You should locate an Operation Ivy poster to place next to it.

There are few things in this World more profound than the mutual desire to live and love shared between two opposing polarities.
Why is that so profound?
You say that The Insider is "deeper", yet you do not know the meaning of the word. This is all I have to say in response to your inquiry.
Russell Crowe's best is nothing greater than an overexploited Fa -
The characters' dilemmas are better and deeper, Pacino is better in The Insider than in Heat, Russel Crowe gives the best performance of his life, it doesn't have Val Kilmer in it, and it's smarter.
Edit: I think Heat is pretty good, by the way.

Okay... No. Now, explain to all of us here why you think The Insider is better than Heat. Just use some of your Comparative Analysis skills, Pidesco.

The Insider is much better.
Realmente... No.

Miami Vice
I still think Heat is Michael Mann's best film to date.

Star Wars: Force Unleashed news

I am pleased to hear Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be taking advantage of the Havok middleware, especially since 4.5 features massive optimizations for the PlayStation 3. The Havok physics engine is also being used by Guerrilla in the development of the upcoming Killzone for the PlayStation 3, which looks absolutely amazing in real-time, by the way. There's no doubt in my mind SW:TFU (> ) will look and play great on the PS3 as well.
