  1. I would like massive, labyrinth like chambers for a full in depth focusing lightsaber crystal whirling alter of swords and marriage, like joining lines to stimulation, and then elevating yourself not just on flat 2d platforms, but to pass over many suns and eons, like yoda's apprentice star luminous blue beam room of initiates doing the whole luke skywalker hokey religions and blaster nonsense, but ya, actively pasting ribbons and banners all over your recreation portal, or taming beasts and creatures, or training even, and having a winter's snow globe view of groups to dominate and conquer, like in star wars battlefront, picking an area to know all about, setting up all kinds of cones for yourself, zipping mazes, teleportation anywhere that you desire, ya, all of that to play all day all the way up unto the sun, and then shattering the entire dream canopy by crash landing destruction, much as the force unleashed, Ultimate Divine Light Power crackling at your fingertips!

First things first, I loved the first kotor. I'm replaying the second as I type this. But, Ive finally come to the realization that the only thing holding this game together is the cool Jedi stuff everyone loves. Missing cut scenes, missing levels, hacked off quests (assassin droids), and just in general horrible polish to the game overall. It works, but barely. If this game were a term paper, it'd be lucky to get a C- . Not only that, but the people trying to heal this wounded duck, are not the developers, but a dedicated group of fans, I believe its Team Gizka, who appear to be working harder than the dev's did in the 1st place.  And the graphics engine for the PC is ridiculous. I'd be better off with finger paints.  Was this game a cheep bid for money? One could make that argument.  Maybe I should be glad Kotor 3 was scraped, because if this game is any indication of the level of effort these developers put into their products, Id rather not contribute to their paychecks for a thrown together, super glued with duct tape mockery of Kotor I, which in my humble (yes humble) opinion, is the most enjoyable RPG ever, and I dont even like the genre. Why, oh why, did the dev's obviously not care enough to FINISH this game? Anyone know?

Its sad that Im still expected to spend $20 on a new copy of this game when years later these clowns havent gotten around to fixing the cornucopia of glaring holes, nay, craters in storyline of this game. I don't think Ill ever buy anything associated with Obsidian Entertainment again, because I work to hard to buy trash like this. Can I have my $20 back so I can go buy KOTOR I again?

Thank You Team Gizka for giving a damn. Especially since you don't get a cut from this games profits, just the joy of knowing your work is well done and enjoyed by many.

C'mon dude the game wasn't totally HORRiBLE! But yes,a lot of the content was cut out of the game which greatly pissed me off. There wasn't enough sith fighting. It was always you fighting some damned bounty hunter or robot or mercenary. And the sith you would fight in the game weren't really sith, they were sith assasins. I also hated the fact that everyone called you a Jedi but you weren't reallya jedi. The ending was the worst Iv'e ever seen in a game, and you were able to Jedify EVERYBODY! One master! One apprentice! And Kreia wasnt your master, she was your teacherwhich is bull crap and it left you in a damned awkward position as to what you were.

Anyway, the game itself was good up to a point (climax*cough*ending*cough*) but the storyline itself was a load of bull ****. Thx to LucasArts for this lovely piece of **** game!!!!!!!!! thumbsup.gif

I heard a rumor that Kreia was actually at least heavily considered in non professional circles as the "2004 character of the year", seeing all of that zombie beyond death voice animation garden upraising surrounding disease of those ugly goggle eyes creatures, as perceived by discrimination against aliens on taris, which ithithorians needed protection from such bullies, and the guy that just barely, slightly, raises your connection to the force.

And that weird tree, standing in the middle of nowhere, I had no idea what kind of meaning or significance or possible message other than just seeing it in that permanent stasis that I could've possibly imposed upon it.

Many mysteries, strange coincidences, untimely parallels, and unexpected welcomes await you before crash landing into the restoration zone which, for permanently increasing your force, you must save chodo habat, before venturing down into the habitat below.

I'm afraid that you can't stay safe with frog people forever, seeing that carth comes flying in with a bad and ominous storyline of the handmaiden, who originally joined you after much lust and watching of your ship, or even joy riding with T3 and such, carth kind of ends bad news and distress about the old ways revan may succeed with, among many other destinies revealed later in the old republic spin off.

  3. Well, with the 2nd one rather than the 1st one, you get very deep, in depth, detailed, archaic, legendary, proposal marriage supper da vinci fine tuning extra detail blueprints of calm winds tempered and undressed for a fresh fit into a lot of voice acting, if that can/can't be emphasized enough to appropriately surmount yourself with all kinds of uncles and altogether flushed out fate unwinding of kreia telling you of untangling the old world flavor of standing in complete rapture and awe before the unprecedented powers you can begin to unleash from the tips of your fingers.

The entire assassin academy base with all of those green fissures about to erput in your face, a revisiting of old lectures from dorak or whatever that, although informative, lack the philosophical flavors of more than 4 colors of traditional star wars, or even yoda/dooku as a precursor to kotor would foreshadow help me to critically receive and review the old harsh guy that yelled at you a lot, vrook in proper bondage!

It's at the crystal cave where obsidion is smart, and lets you see that insane old coot, well, quite the opposite in epicness of count dooku, if you rhyme things.

That whole romeo juliet thing being all over, and the whole household saying cheese before the whole chinese dojo remodeling where vrook either teaches you a new form or breaths his last helps you to go away that so called, "lure of the darkside", and the difficulty of resisting your infamy.

  4. There's some kind of precognition or special place where you must save and load yourself and stay safe or imprisoned on the cantina onderon mandalore tours and guides you through the city, and charms and enchantments are no match for han solo, who just "feels or knows" that a whole bunch of mercenaries just like himself are standing ahead, waiting to get after you before entering the cantina.

And the worst nightmare for me, activating a saved game, was when I had to realign a bunch of progress I had for that day when, upon seeing that the rich or "evil" woman had a lightsaber crystal of great power (which benefited me none, because I was good anyway), I couldn't use it, and I lost my light side perfect attribute bonuses.

So ya, saving is salvation, even coming to the messiah, or all endings not being your life.

  5. If you don't stay to the edge of the pathway, I believe that the space vents take a very large chuck or proportion out of your health. And far further in the game, aboard the ship of Darth Nihilus, getting to the appropriate landing sites where all things go boom is insane and crazy, so much so that going from kreia the sort of, before you go to the jungle moon again to raid the sith temple, I have to critically grade and insult the people you take with you, it's just that putting on your 2 face double crossing mask versus a consular kreia who needs more defense and force support for 1 lightsaber over 2 anyway reminds me of the literal moral transition between which sides visas embraces aboard Nihilus's ship, because, going in her room, she picks either good or evil, and either red or blue currents come rushing through.

  6. It reminds me very much of the unknown world in kotor, a little bit of a fore shadowing before a galaxy wide conflict that threatens to engulf the entire galaxy, and with your maze sweeping through the so called "proof" of your excellence and divinity before the guy calls you the sister of avner (Revan reworded) in the old republic novel, it's important to realize that one test among an ensemble of elite brethren and masquerading handmaidens.

So before you go up those sky ramps on the next world before their defense system shoots you down, it's not so much that the fights against the jungle creatures themselves threaten your very survival and existence, but that things like the dueling ring may cause me to slightly cheat, like activating battle meditation and force valor/speed before entering, thereby "cheating" the restriction where you must only use hands and such, or perhaps a sword if he uses one too.

Then I love the option of absolutely decimating everyone as a bloody option before even entering the camp, but then, you must stop before the peace of the settlers. Or maybe there's a jungle lever or switch held with the option of life versus, "haha, let's see you blow up your face"!

Being evil, and ignoring your fallen campers for a safe and reliant detour of breath, or just reminding yourself of the sun, and maybe looking over that deep korriban desert moon where all kinds of dangers await your arrival is that kind of "great and powerful stench", and ya, battling revan, or realizing your virtual visions of many futures, and even ramming the ebon hawk into uthar's room mixes and matches you.

  7. I hated in grand theft auto when they had some inescapable wall when you escaped the ocean, and 4 big banging huge massive overwhelming stars come and make any passage over the trance atlantic gateway, held by a bunch of mumbling telephones.

It's very difficult to create a cluck in bell regeneration high pizza order delivery radio, but arm chairs and old people or just a bunch of arching teleportation and thinking of indiana jones when a giant helicopter comes straight at your boxing gloves!

Just the idea that you have complete freedom and liberty, arbiters aligned for a big room celebration, and painting fractions draws out the firmament, fire arms sure, but stars at the top of your screen!

  8. Well for one thing, I absolutely destroyed the game completely all engines firing at maximum fire power when I was Guardian and half the time with super strength doing power attack rather than critical strike, a guy on a coin flip 50-50 chance is standing still in that white vortex of paralysis, and yet more so, when you can use "Force Crush" for dark side, particularly for Sith Lord over assassin or whatever, just spamming that repeatedly can leave a guy leaping up multiple times before he can even come at you.

But the ability to be supremely uber powerful like that will, of course, be stunted by actual character development, and a strong party can enhance you intially maybe by increased charisma which, although not recommended, makes you party members strike more often, but getting visas mar with high alignment either way, light or dark, perhaps 75% completely, can even get you an early lightsaber.

And for your early lightsaber, kill a guy at the docks on nar shadaa, where it seems to be the 2nd to last apartment building, about where you meet up with the bearded jedi master.

And maybe avoid the smuggler hive where atton thrives too initially, where when I first played the game, I was stuck there quite inexorably for my last planet, because it's so dang confusing.

So the consequence for Me (of going to dantooine) jedi enclave world first, was a bad lightsaber crystal.

Essentially, late in the game, you can be very powerful, and a lot far more so by being very good or evil, and allowing kreia to reach out upon your inertia like abilities, even learning much of the lore and initial preceding dinner tables and luxury banks of experiential buildup.

Take training atton for instance (which you can do at the refugee sector with high influence, where he likes you a lot) and he's approached about assassination history, where he can learn to be jedi sentinel, and a step in this direction may be counting numbers or hyperspace routes in such to avoid mind reading from kreia). And that's by far the hardest part, though perhaps the most rich in overall game pleasure, knowing the interesting side detours and plain to perfect purity, completely light side sort of meandering into higher roundabouts and destinations.

To be completely liberated from the force, free, without restrictions, you would almost wonder if kreia's training you to be the Sithari, which the developers may perhaps hint at when, if you're character's an extremely powerful Sith Lord, you actually see yourself on the title screen!

Although my favorite part, along with a slightly better party, is high Charisma (for the added damage of "Force Storm"), and using this more effectively if you are good by getting less point reduction despite evil, because your face is glowing so brightly that the dark side has a crush on you anyway, and favors you far more so for increased power, you "hold the galaxy by it's throat", as Kreia says.

  9. I only have the game on xbox, but I remember that boosting your dark side power can increase strength 1 to 8 for damage strikes with a lightsaber, and light side is better yet, maybe increasing your wisdom by 3 points for counselor rather than marauder altogether, a slightly better benefit for the light, but an assassin over watchman, despite attribute bonuses is far more deadly.

I say this because, from what I've seen on youtube, mods can enhance your character with these kinds of specific "bonuses".

    Sorry, hope that helps.

And an acutal awakening from your character in a new universe or context, as dstarfire says, would be awesome, even with a remastered Kotor and such or, worse than anything, how in kotor, full light/dark abilities give you NOTHING, and yet from obsidion, new perks and benefits come like wild fire, except, frankly, Darth Nihilus, by far the best sith lord ever, had an epic part cut out where he compltely rampages his space ship with red blood lines suddenly flying everywhere in cut content where Sion "doesn't need him", and subsequently charges him. But it's just that, Nihilus is the best sith lord, and yet he's sort of a boba fett, epic, and yet, unseen mostly.

  10. Is this the original Xbox, I take it? Fable II had a lot of issues on the 360. My solution was to give up.

I had problems with Fable 2 freezing often as well, where I needed to buy an "Xbox hard drive" or something along those lines, like a huge, massive, left side (or maybe right) block you attach to your 360, I think gray in color, and that makes the memory power I guess impose its console destroying will upon the hard drive thing rather than on your xbox 360 itself, thereby allowing you to play your game without freezing.

  11. Pokemon RED, raiding the invisible mansion of all hopes and dreams where all of the numbers of places on that eastern edge you've recently been too start flashing all of those safari zone guys, like Rhyhorn, and taking a deep tour through the jungle, into the origins of Mewtwo on Cinnabar island.

  12. One time I had a problem shortly before you board your ship to see a display of your jedi counsel meeting where you surrender your lightsaber and such, and pick moral choices or consequences for further alignment with the sides. Bao Dur or however it's spelled, the horned zabrak darth maul tech special guy can get a big disposition raise here and, immediately getting in nar shadaa, atton's gambling world, I believe if you take him alone there, helping suffering further elevates his like for you, maybe enough to go to the crystal cave where the jedi academy is/was and remains dead/destroyed, and, him alone with you, can examine solitary crystal conversations for you where the annoying/grumpy and old jedi master strict guy is, maybe it's vrook.

But I do know that, if you manage to leave, then you maximize your previous misfortune of not being in touch with the force by getting a deluxe and luxurious special audience with your erased chapters in galactic history, namely by all of your lost links to the force all assembled together on display for interaction with the past.

There's even a glitch with the wookie teaching you about the shadow lands, and having a guy that just mows down enemy defenses too easily by having infinite stat boosts with kreia.

  13. Oh, bring Atton Rand, even though he is an ever annoying yet smart mouthed tight lipped rebel scum action raiding deep party adventure entertainment under wear spy, because all of those mines that blow up in your face require a deep stealth trench down the tunnel that opens 2 perimeters of zippers half way through, and I'm sorry, I don't remember the stuff with the codes, because it's been a while, but maybe a good step is too march through the station itself more easily, so you can find stuff. By continually running away and regenerating Atton or something (and if I remember right, he comes back to life repeatedly, you can focus him on a handful of auto torrents, and maybe just med pack yourself).

My favorite part, at least in the recommended order of how you're supposed to visit worlds, is when he's like, "I know, you're crushed"!

Maybe by killing a random droid, you can better find the so called code that you need. My real trouble was actually getting to the air boat in space, when your computer droid needs a complex algorithm which has nothing to do with game skill whatsoever, where I needed my strategy guide. But beyond that, I just tried to hit everything I could until shields went down or something, or if you live really easily, then you access the required droid saying those random beeps and all. I don't know.
