Just a small comment on the 'amnesia' thing (and a hello to the OE forums, incidentally - how's life?), any new PC is going to suffer from it as much as the Old PC's. See the conversations with the Exile in TSL. Yes, I know he was away, but he also seems to remember almost nothing about his past, let alone the Jedi Civil War... Apologies if I'm retreading old ground.
