Do plasma screens have a native resolution in the same way as LCDs?
If by native you mean max, then yes. I am not sure if you can fiddle about with the resolution of a plasma display. Low res source material is just upscaled to fit the screen.

Personally, I maintain that backwards compatibility is an extraneous feature, so I am pretty nonplussed to see it diminished in the European PS3.
What I would like to know is if the savings will be passed on to the consumer or just used to soak up the loss incurred for each unit.

On an LCD the max res is usually the native res, right? Which means that any other res makes everything look really crappy and jaggy, right?

They should really give the Jack/Kate/Sawyer episodes a rest. They are fine when there is plenty of action but not fine when it was like last night's ep. A whole episode of emo filler just to say "we are going back to the main island".

Did anyone else find Dr. Mohinder to be a little dense? "Hmm, this guy is displaying the exact same symptoms that Eavesdrop did, the top of her head is sliced off and I know Sylar just did it, I wonder if this guy with me is......nah, hop in the car!".
Mohinder doesnt watch the show so he isn't as clued in as us.
Aside from telekinesis and the memory thing and whatever he got from the crime scene where we meet Fat Matt, how many abilities did Sylar collect before he was captured?

I just had my first experience with Vista. Boy does it stink. Stupid pop ups, pointless notifications every time I go into the guts of Windows to change settings. It is also very sloooooow, but I think that may be due to the fact that Dell sells new equipment incapable of running Vista properly - which in itself is a mean practice IMO.
I guess with time and fiddling I might get used to it but since it isn't my computer I am not patient enough to use Vista.
