Just to let you know this topic has been done A LOT but you never know it maybe it is its time to come around again.
btw Yoda is the most powerful of the new era, Anakin could have been but Obi Wan will see to that.
Funny how he gets his ass handed to ihm on a senatorial platter then eh? <_<

Exile: HK-47 what is the definition of love?
I laughed for hours after he gave me the answer :D

Just rip them out of the game files (PC version only unfortunatly)
I have them all
Alternatively you can get 1 or 2 on Mark Griskey's homesite

Go to Dxun, and there talk to a Mandalorian merchant (save the game here) called K(something...only 3 letters though).
If there is no robe there, load the game and try again... he will have all new items and maybe a robe.
Sures its a way around the random loot, but if it gets you what you want

I'm in the middle of KOTOR and KOTOR 2 looked like a no brainer because of all the fun I'm having.
But after reading reviews on amazon.com, finding out about the excellent endings that got junked on Penny Arcade and this board, plus the bugs and the fact that the game simply isn't done, I decided not to buy it.
Everybody has different opinions, but all I've heard from serious, rational gamers is that the last 1/3rd of the game blows, the ending is horrible and with the first 2/3rd being so good, it's a tremendous letdown.
Why should I buy a buggy, incomplete game with a bad ending *especially* when it can be fixed?
Should I buy or not buy this game? Is the letdown that bad, the bugs that serious, and the game that unfinished?
Not everyone has experienced bugs like that.
The ending sucked hmm? Thats because they just dont like ambiguous endings. Im sure if you asked the same people they will tell you that they were disappointed by Half-Life 2's ending and Halo 2's ending thus saying it was crap. (dunno about Halo but Half Life 2 got 96% rating, best ive ever seen)
Dont believe the hype, KotOR is *NOT* incomplete, the main plot is there thus it cant be, bug's are conditional with the person it would seem, ive never experienced any.... but there ya go.
It is of course your decision, but personally i advise you to not just resign to not buying it, but take 213374U's advice, Rent it, if you like it... buy it.
Nuff said

i've read parts of the "leaked" script and it is to my understanding (i don't know how reliable it is as it may just be the work of some fat nerd in his bedroom but it looked pretty legit)
Sidious just kills windu as he is superior, obi uses grevious's blaster mounted in his chest to kill him using the force to swivel it round, anakin kills dooku in cold blood after owning him, by decapitation
Sorry dude, thats bull
Sideous fights Mace and Mace gets thrown out the building, then Anakin goes down to finish him.
No Idea how Obi Wan faces Greivous...
Anakin does kill Dooku but not out of cold blood.

Product Description:
From New York Times bestselling author James Luceno comes an all-new Star Wars adventure that reveals the action and intrigue unfolding directly before Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
Mired in greed and corruption, tangled in bureaucracy, the Galactic Republic is crumbling. In the outlying systems, where the Trade Federation maintains a stranglehold on shipping routes, tensions are boiling over?while back in the comfort of Coruscant, the hub of civilized space and seat of the Republic government, few senators seem inclined to investigate the problem. And those who suspect Supreme Chancellor Valorum of having a hand in the machinations are baffled?especially when Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi foil an assassination attempt on the Chancellor.
With the crisis escalating, Valorum calls for an emergency trade summit. As humans and aliens gather, conspiracies sealed with large sums of money run rampant, and no one is entirely above suspicion. But the greatest threat of all remains unknown to everyone except three members of the Trade Federation who have entered into a shadowy alliance with a dark overlord. While the trio will be content with more money and fewer problems, Darth Sidious has grander, far more terrifying plans.
It is a time that tests the mettle of all those who strive to hold the Republic together?none more so than the Jedi Knights, who have long been the galaxy's best hope for preserving peace and justice. Yet despite their most valiant efforts, the meeting will explode into fiery chaos beyond everyone?s worst fears . . .
The online review, just incase you were indeed considering getting it.

Its not part of a series that im aware of, but i do have a book pre-dating EP:I by a few years called:
Cloak of Deception.
Its all about Sideous gently manipulating terrorist factions, terrorists, and the Republic all at once, whilst Supreme Chancellor Valorum is having assassination attempts on his life.
Its up to Obi Wan and Qui Gon to figure out who is trying to kill him before its too late.
(the ending marks the rise of the Trade federations army, and Sideous telling them to make a blockade at Naboo )

First of all-ALL melee strike-feats (flurry, crit strike, hard hit) work with lightsabre!
Read and understand next time before you go flame your head off.
Melee specialisation (adding certain points of attack damage) does not affect Lightsaber damage. Critical Strike is more effective using a Melee weapon. Thus this would mean that it wouldnt be a very big multiplier.
And your statement above was not questioned anywhere, which just proves your a skim reader...
-
Do the melee feats help lightsaber attacks?
No...
So why would Critical Strike if it ONLY worked with melee?
Eejut <_<

"The Jedi are Lame. They wont let you PL"
&
"Those Jedi Beotches, are now K.O.S"
I think Emporer Palpatine had a good idea about Jedi

Bane = ?
Darth Bane = Abandon.
The backstory for why he had that sense of abandonment is in his backstory.

Stop TK'ing u ****!!11!!!

The Store-Version of the game doesnt have any sound for crush... its silent.
But the Cut-version had bone crunching sounds.

Heres something that screws your theory. The Exile knew her mother. You can get the conversation where you tell her that her mother was a jedi and a great warrior without talking to Kreia or Handmaiden about it beforehand.
That is BS
When he asks Kreia about the Handmaidens mother he goes "Are you sure - i dont remember her"
-
Are you insane?
It turns my loveable Homicidal droid into a pansy!
Besides then you would miss his "Mocking's" of Bastilla and Carth
-
Hilarious... Plain and simple genious :D
-
Generally they dont end up having the word in their name, more like alterations.
For example Darth Bandon - Abandonment

I understood it as a broken quest, you cant use the airspeeder for anything even if you do repair it? Correct?
No quests are broken...

Right sorry but i think there is some SERIOUS need of clarification here...
Go to the Bioware forums and date back to when KotOR1 was first released...
You will be reminded quite heavily of what this forum looked like when it was released...
Its quite funny really....
