  1. It may take a while, but if the developers do it right this could be one of the best games ever, and im talking better than Halo2. You can walk around massive planets, and make parties, and there could the Sith and the Jedi. You could choose a path, and the top notch players for the Jedi, could make the Jedi councle, and some top notch Sith players could be the Sith Lords. And you have 2 train, you cant just start off and be as strong as the guy who is Sith Lord. The prob would be that wht happens with all the equipment, cause the first ppl 2 play the game r gonna go take everything they find, and it would be gay if everything came back, but who knows.

Ok i had alot more 2 say, but i can't explain it right, sorry

    ARRRGGH!

This has come up before as I am sure it will again, and it has to be the most horrible idea I have heard in a long time..

Do you remember SWG and what a flop (for most ppl) it was? After that atrocity I doubt LA will attempt another SW oriented MMORPG anytime soon..How would it be possible to take a small, strict story like that of the KotOR series and develop a MMORPG out of it? Not possible..Unless you are suggesting they simply make it set within the KotOR 1/2 timeframe which would be SWG -5,000 years.

Yup but even thought it wasa flop... they have made the company record making gross profits (this is LucasArts not LucasFilm)

  2. On the issue of hoods.  Not sure if this has been answered.

There are no jedi robes where the player can put the hood up and down themselves.  Some companions have hoods when they wear clothes or jedi robes.

The issue for not including robes was not so much a time or team issue, but an engine issue.  The robes that are in the game already pushed the memory set aside for Player Character armor types by a factor of 2 or 3, so we had to compromise in places.  In my opinion, it was worth it because I think our robes look great.

But there are robes with the hood already up yes?

  3. I would like to here from Obsidian about the problems of Star Wars KOTOR II- The Sith Lords.

I have a old xbox released in 2002 and have countless prroblems with this game the big one is not being able to use a workbench all game. I have had other glitches that have hindered my play also the M Vrook end fight on dantooine after i beat him the first time the screen goes black and i can not move on tried both lightside and darkside ways and the samething happens?. I also returned my copy of the game for a new one and the problems are still there?. Please help us out i really want to play this game and enjoy it but as of right now i do not enjoy the game. Why is there so many problems with the game just because the xbox is old?.

    Thanks,

    Jim Fraley

Sorry to let you down but....

    Ave it :D

  4. Ok your blatantly a ignorant Console user who has as much technical knowledge of systems as an ignoramus has on quantum physics!

Im not going to spell this out for you but i am gonna do my best to explain in lamen terms...

You bring up the point of variations in the PC systems, drivers, cards everything will make the game have more chances of bugs. No. This will mean that the game on the back will have works with : <insert card names here>.

People are trained in university at computer programming "languages". Therefore when making a X-Box game or another console version then you either use a converter, which create bug's just by using them on your program, or you learn of to efficiently code in sequences using a whole new language, also creating mistakes more frequently.

PC games have bugs. Yes. But the option of having them patched does not mean that in the beginning they are less of a beta than a console version. I have known alot of games on the consoles to have far mroe fatal error's than PC's and if you take the time, or have the knowledge about Personal Computers then you will find through your own safety there will be fewrer bugs... Try installing things without virus scanners on and such other nonsense. I think you will find that there are alot of games out there 100% bug free... the only console games that ive seen that are bug free are = 0.

Well ive got more work to be getting on with "in the office". If ive left any of your contradictions out just remind me and i will be glad to argue the toss out of this all week :(
